In Conversation - Celtic's goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo Celtic's young goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo chats to us about his SPFL debut and being patient waiting for his first team opportunity as understudy to Kasper Schmeichel which came last weekend when he kept a clean sheet against Hearts. He was called into action early in the game on three occasions.He made his Celtic debut earlier in the season in the League Cup v Raith Rovers in the 5-0 win but has had to patiently wait for his chance since then. Brendan Rodgers said earlier this week that first choice goalkeeper Schmeichel could be out for up to five or six weeks after getting injured on international duty for Denmark. Now Sinisalo has a chance to impress as Celtic head towards another SPFL Trophy starting this weekend away to St. Johnstone. We travelled all the way up to see Kasper in his current home in Glasgow and we can definitely say it was well worth the trip! In this episode, Kasper talked about all of his recent moves including leaving Leicester to Nice, joining Anderlecht and now Celtic. He talks about the struggles of joining new clubs and teaming up with boss Brendan Rodgers once again after a call just before he went on holiday!  Kasper then dives into his work off the pitch and discusses the importance in looking after the body with cold baths and saunas! He also touches on experiences he has had throughout the game which has aided him throughout his career to become the goalie he is today... Join Paul and Martin in their reaction to the Celtic's thrilling Premier Sports Cup final victory over Rangers. A pulsating encounter ended 3-3 after 90 minutes and the Hoops triumphed 5-4 in a penalty shootout to claim our 119th major honour. Rangers took the lead just before half-time through Nadim Bajrami but Celtic regained control and took the lead in a 10 minute 2nd half blitz thanks to goals from Greg Taylor and Daizen Maeda. But Rangers levelled at 2-2 through Diomande, before Nicolas Kuhn gave Celtic a 3-2 lead in the 87th minute. That wasn't the end of the drama though, as Celtic lost concentration just 1 minute later and Danilo made it 3-3. The teams couldn't be separated after extra-time and Celtic triumphed 5-4 in the shootout, as Kasper Schmeichel saved Yilmaz's spot kick down low to his left hand side and flawless execution from all 5 Celts sealed the trophy. Men skæbnen ville at Allan Poulsen skulle følge i sin fars spor og hjælpe de danske atleter. Det gjorde han fra 1978 til 2020 - i flere sportsgrene og med nogle af dansk sportshistories største atleter. Han nåede i alt 77 slutrunder (EM, VM og OL) med det danske fodboldlandshold for herrer og kvinder, det danske håndboldlandshold for kvinder, det danske squashlandshold, det danske cykellandshold og naturligvis fodboldklubben OB, hvor han var tilknyttet i over 30 år.  Allan Simonsen, Michael og Brian Laudrup, Peter og Kasper Schmeichel, Lars Høgh, Dennis Rommedahl, Niklas Bendtner, Simon Kjær, Christian Eriksen og Anja Andersen kom alle under vingerne på Allan Poulsen, men det gjorde flere af de danske cykeltalenter op gennem 80'erne og 90'erne også - heriblandt det danske juniorlandshold og cykelcrosskongen Henrik Djernis, hvor Allan Poulsen havde en stor betydning i flere danske VM-cykelmedaljer.  Allan Poulsen er blevet et synonym til Odense Cyklebane, hvor han er kommet siden sin spæde barndom. I dag har han over 6.000 skoleelever forbi cykelbanen hver uge, hvor han er primus motor for det prisvindende skoleprojekt på Odense Cyklebane, som han sammen med de 45 frivillige modtog prisen for 'Årets Idrætsforening' ved Sport 2022.
