On today's double Pod we first look back on Cristiano Ronaldo's glorious return to Old Trafford, as Manchester United dispatched Newcastle 4-1 in the Premier League. Ronaldo was undoubtedly the star attraction but Bruno Fernandes netted a scorcher and Jesse Lingard bagged late too with Paul Pogba pulling the strings on a great day to be a Red. In the second part of the Pod we dissect United's tepid showing in the Champions League away to Young Boys. An Aaron Wan-Bissaka red card ruined a promising start - with Ronaldo netting early - and United ended up throwing the match away in time added on. On this week's podcast, Henry Hill is joined by Dougie Critchley and Sam Obaseki to dissect Gareth Southgate's recent England squad announcement. The trio look at players omitted from the 33-man provisional side, including James Maddison, Patrick Bamford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, before trying to work out which seven players should be left off the plane (or team bus). The key discussions boil down to which one of Mason Greenwood, Bukayo Saka or Ollie Watkins should Southgate take, whether or not Jesse Lingard should make the final 26, and of course, The Right Back Dilemma. Who should miss out - Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James or Kieran Trippier? Sam thinks one thing, Henry thinks another, and Dougie, love of all things European football, is left to mediate - his decision may surprise you. Enjoy!

For all the money these two teams have spent towards attacking talent, there was hardly any creativity on display in a boring, goalless draw between Manchester United and Chelsea. Should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked to provide a spark with a change in formation? How much of a weak link is the crossing from the fullbacks Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka? Defensively, United were very good while Cavani looked bright in his Old Trafford debut. That and more in the latest match recap. The first FPL game week of the 2018-19 season is over and there's a lot of information to digest. Before you commit to any knee-jerk moves, why not give this episode a listen? We take listener questions and give our thoughts on key issues: The potential of premium defenders (should we double-up anywhere?), emerging mid-priced midfielders (Neves or Jota?), striker dilemmas (no major returns up front), and the early return to action for some big Wold Cup stars (how urgently are we targeting Kane or Sterling?).
