On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by West Ham fan Chris Stone and Southampton fan Matt Samuel to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Saturday's GW33 Meeting at The London Stadium. Are West Ham assets being overlooked for doublers incorrectly? There's discussion on the likes of Alphonse Areola, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mohammed Judus and Jarrod Bowen. It's been a disappointing campaign for The Hammers but for Southampton it could yet be the worst of them all as they bif to overhaul Derby's record low points tally of 11. Can they do it? Plus, further discussion on the difficulty now for promoted clubs, what might be next for Southampton and moves West Ham may make in the summer. Jack Elderton and Cal Goodall break down West Ham's 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League, where Jarrod Bowen returned to action early from his broken foot to put the Hammers ahead before a Pedro Neto goal and Aaron Wan-Bissaka own goal gave Enzo Maresca the win over Graham Potter on his return to Stamford Bridge. Jack and Cal discuss Evan Ferguson's signing, Luis Guilherme's amazing substitute appearance, how West Ham limited Cole Palmer's impact on the game, the tactical switches that changed the game, how Potter's adaptability has meant the Hammers can continue to be competitive despite the depleted squad and much more. James welcomes Fulham fan Lewis James (for his CotC debut) and West Ham fan Chrsi Stone to discuss the latest at their clubs and their FPL assets ahead of Saturday's London Derby at Craven Cottage. There's discussion on each club's start to the season and the integration of some of the new signings towards the end of the transfer window and how they may be integrated into the team, particularly at Fulham with Joachim Andersen, Sander Berge and Reiss Nelson all pushing for inclusion. While at West Ham so far we've seen the integration of Max Kilman, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Guido Rodriguez; but the likes of Crysensio Summerville, Carlos Soler and the current injured Nicklas Fullkrug will all be hoping to break into the team soon. And FPL discussion features discussion on some popular Fulham selections, including Antonee Robinson, Emile Smith-Rowe and Rodrigo Muniz, and why West Ham assets like Jarrod Bowen are continuing to be overlooked by the majority. Hello Rank Squad! The whole gang's back together as Dean and Jack are joined by our Rank God  Sam Tighe, who, we're delighted to say, has just become a father for the first time. Today we're talking about various things you need to watch out for on the week leading up to Deadline Day. Dean starts us off with three big names who could yet sneak their way into a move: Karim Benzema, Aaron Ramsdale, and Kieran Trippier; and also looks at three realistic movers who should be on their way this week: Armando Broja, Antonio Nusa, and Jhon Duran. We take a bit of a detour away from Things We Love to discuss a couple of the wilder transfer stories that have erupted over the past week or so - firstly the apparent swap offer between Inter and Manchester United for a deal that would involve Denzel Dumfries and Aaron Wan-Bissaka switching clubs; and also Ben Godfrey's seemingly very easy decision between Sheffield United, Leeds United, and... AC Milan. Then finally, Sam talks us through three things he wishes that he'd known before becoming a father, whilst Dean dishes out three pieces of advice he'd offer to any new parent as well. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

What lessons can Manchester United take from Brighton's new star Kauro Mitoma and Arsenal's pursuit of the Seagulls' midfielder Moises Caicedo? That's one discussion of many in the latest Manchester United Weekly Podcast with Harry Robinson and Jack Tait. The two Reds react to a 3-1 victory over Reading in the FA Cup at Old Trafford which sees Erik Ten Hag's side through to the Fifth Round. Ten Hag is the first United manager in history to win his first six domestic cup matches. They listen to some wonderful Beatles-inspired commentary of Casemiro's lovely second goal and discuss the Brazilian's influence on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Antony's excellent assist and progress. Christian Eriksen left M16 on crutches on Saturday night, so what would his absence mean for the team? Answering questions from the podcast's Patrons, Harry and Jack determine how much credit is due to United's way for the signings made last summer and whether the Reds should make a move for Brighton's Mitoma, or whether his good form can give the club a different lesson entirely. The boys play guess the player and provide an extensive youth, loan and United Women round-up with cup progress for Marc Skinner's side, two lovely goals for the U21s and a potential move away for FA Youth Cup-winning striker Charlie McNeill in League Two. (From Ted Popham, Patron since *) 32:25 Patreon question: Finally a question about my favourite non-United player to watch at the moment, Mitoma. How good do you think he is/could be? I really love watching him play and would love to see United get him instead of another top 6 club. If United were to get him, would he be a good signing? He could give squad depth plus competition for spaces- the type of signing City make all the time. Or do we already have too many left-wingers, especially with Garnacho needing game time? The duo then analyse Tottenham's inconsistent season so far and what realistic targets they can still aim for this campaign.Attention then turns to the pulsating match from Super Sunday between Arsenal and Manchester United. Neville felt Arsenal ‘beat up' United during the second half and thoroughly deserved the 3-2 win. Carra highlighted Arsenal's dominance coming from their central midfield players including Oleksandr Zinchenko who was influential and Jamie's man of the match. Carragher also goes onto say that Arsenal are the best coached team in the country in his opinion. Neville felt the Gunners' performance against United was a throwback to a Arsene Wenger Arsenal team as they adopted a similar shape in their attack which isolated both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw.Part three previews the match between Fulham and Tottenham which has seen Spurs win their last six matches at Craven Cottage in all competitions. Neville and Carragher look at certain areas of the pitch which could prove to be vital in determining the outcome of the match.Harry Kane equalled Jimmy Greeves' goalscoring record for Tottenham in their 1-0 win against Fulham and the England captain spoke with Dave Jones, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher after the match and hopes the win will rejuvenate Spurs' season. There is also reaction from Antonio Conte who said that the win is a starting point for the club to try and push for a top four finish. Conte also reiterated that he is ‘proud' and ‘happy' at the club despite recent rumours that he may leave Tottenham at the end of the season. In the final part of the show, Gary and Jamie give their individual predictions for the remainder of the season looking at who will be crowned champions of the Premier League, who will finish in the top four, the clubs that will avoid relegation, who will be the player of the year and who will be named manager of the season.
