Walton, of course, was the star of the John Wooden UCLA teams that won an incredible 88 games in a row and two national championships. His NBA career began in Portland, where Walton led the Cinderella Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA title.But injuries to Walton started piling up. He played in only 57% of the regular season games during his ten year career. He was rejuvenated, however, when he was traded to Boston in the summer of 1985.
