Winning in life isn't about luck, hype, or raw talent. It's about understanding and applying the right formula. In this episode, Garrett and Nick break down what they call The Winning Formula: a principled, repeatable framework that explains why some people consistently produce results while others stay stuck no matter how hard they try. You'll learn why winning always starts with right aim, clarity of purpose rooted in God's design. It's then followed by right execution, the discipline of doing the right things consistently at a high level. Drawing from Scripture, military experience, business leadership, and real-life examples, this episode shows why consistency builds trust, why preparation always precedes opportunity, and why most people quit not because they can't win, but because they don't believe they're meant to. Finally, Garrett and Nick unpack the often-overlooked multiplier in the formula: alignment. Alignment doesn't add power, it removes friction. Whether in marriage, business, faith, or leadership, misalignment silently drains momentum and sabotages outcomes. If you want to stop guessing, stop drifting, and start winning in a way that honors God and fulfills your purpose, this episode gives you the framework to do exactly that.Join a group of likeminded Impossible Life listeners in our FREE Skool community by clicking here.Sign up for the 2026 New Year's Day Ice Bath event hereGet the Purpose Playbook by clicking hereGet the FREE Basic Discipline Training 30 Day Program by clicking hereJoin us in Mindset Mastery by clicking hereIf you're a man that wants real accountability and training to be a leader, click here.Level up your nutrition with IDLife by clicking hereGET IN TOUCHSocial Media - @theimpossiblelifeEmail - info@theimpossible.life

Brian Tyler Cohen (YouTube and podcast host, “No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen,” and MS NOW Contributor) joins Chris Cuomo for a conversation about how Democrats can win in an outrage-driven media environment. They dig into why affordability messaging works across the spectrum — from Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill to Zohran Mamdani — and why the left must balance real-world issues with the daily flood of Trump scandals, ICE abuses, and rising costs. Cuomo and Cohen unpack how the Epstein files, outrage algorithms, and click-first influencers distort priorities, why trust matters more than trending topics, and how Democrats can convert resentment into results on housing, groceries, and basic costs. They also explore the limits of lawfare, the danger of governing for social-media engagement, and what it will take for the majority to reward leaders who actually solve problems rather than amplify anger. This week was a straight flush for Democrats. Zohran Mamdani completed his heroic arc to become mayor of the world's most important city. Democrats ran up huge margins in the big governor races in Virginia and New Jersey, where Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill, respectively, won by double digits. What unified the three victories was the Democratic candidate's ability to turn the affordability curse against the sitting president, transforming Republicans' 2024 advantage into a 2025 albatross. Affordability is the Democrats' new watchword. And it's a good one. It speaks to Americans' direct concerns. It's a big-tent subject, allowing a democratic socialist to offer one message in South Brooklyn and a moderate Democrat to offer another message in southern Virginia. Today's guest is Matthew Yglesias, a writer whose site, Slow Boring, is a must-read for me and many others who follow politics and policy. We talk about the affordability theory of everything and its weaknesses, the Democrats' big night, the lessons of Mamdani, persuasion, moderation, and much more. The Carvers Bay Bears are 7–0 (3–0 in region 6-1A) and rolling under Head Coach Matthew Richard, now in his 7th season leading the program. After a first-round playoff exit last year, the Bears are back with 18 seniors and a renewed focus — and they're aiming to make a deep postseason run.Coach Richard joins Movin' The Chains to discuss:
Cam Schlittler delivered an "otherworldly" eight-inning, 12-strikeout masterclass against the Red Sox, an "all-time" performance that clinched the series for the Yankees. BT and Sal celebrated the exhilarating win, noting that the biggest takeaway wasn't just Schlittler's dominance, but the fact that the Yankees won by playing clean, crisp baseball and not beating themselves—a stark contrast to previous years. They highlighted Anthony Volpe's crucial defensive play and the team's ability to win with base hits, proving they are no longer a one-trick "home run or bust" pony. Sal challenged the notion that Schlittler is the next great ace, saying they must live in the moment and see if he can back it up against the Blue Jays. The discussion ended by briefly touching on the excitement around the Giants' rookie QB Jaxson Dart, but the hosts questioned how far the team can realistically go without key receiver Malik Nabers.

Scott Johnston, fresh off coaching both the men's and women's winners of UTMB in the same year, shares his coaching philosophy with Dirk Friel. Scott emphasizes the value of consistent, disciplined training rooted in tried-and-true principles. Not through flashy shortcuts, just a thoughtful blend of science, individualized pacing, and real-world adaptability. Throughout the conversation, Scott explains how he tailored training for Ruth Croft and Tom Evans, highlighting that while every Evoke Endurance training plan is built on a shared set of core principles, the real magic lies in personalizing workouts to each athlete's unique needs and life circumstances. Hear how Scott's approach balances rigorous data—like lactate testing and measured thresholds—with the all-important "soft" skills of daily check-ins, building trust, and keeping athletes mentally anchored during major events.
