The Celtics pull off another crunch time win over the Knicks 123-117 and this was a rollercoaster through and through! The Celtics found themselves down big early after a brutal 32-21 1st quarter but put up two monster quarters after that due to a scorching hot JB who ended the game with 42pts including 18 in the 2nd and 15 in the 3rd!As impressive as he was for the majority of this game, I think the real story of tonight is the play of Hugo, Walsh and Minott! Hugo completed shifted the energy in the 2nd quarter making every huge play defensively, Minott did that in the 2nd and 4rd while hitting some huge shots and then Jordan Walsh was arguably our clutch performer. Jordan had a huge offensive rebound and putback on a Minott miss and JB miss in back to back possessions to go up 109-101 and then had a huge steal next possession and then ended his night with a phenomenal finish at the rim putting the C's up 115-110 along with a huge rebound late in the game. The Celtics beat the Cavs 117-115 and Pritchard put on a show!!! Despite an immense amount of hate from some fans, he puts up 42pts on a crazy efficient 15-22 from the field and 6-11 from 3! There was nothing he couldn't do in this game. He finished at the rim, from deep and had a bunch of his midrange shots with 6 big FTs sprinkled in there as well. This really was a huge game for him.JB, while is wasn't his most efficient night, put up a 19pt 12reb 11ast TRIPLE DOUBLE! Jordan Walsh contributed a ton with a 14pt 11reb double double and Anfernee Simons stepped up in a major way in the first half as well. We talk about all the player performances and break down the ending of tonight's game so check out the podcast today! This podcast is brought to you by me, Guy DePlacido. The Celtics fall to the 76ers in another nailbiter 102-100 and fall to 5-7 on the season. The Celtics out rebounded Philly 53-44 and only gave up 8 offensive rebounds. They also only gave up 8pts off their 11 turnovers and held Philly to just 102 points. On most nights, that SHOULD result in a win BUT the Celtics shot horribly in this one. They shot 39% from the field and 34% from 3. They didn't take a lot of 3s but they did miss a lot of wide open shots. The Celtics once again got a huge spark off the bench from Jordan Walsh and Anfernee Simons and even Garza had another really solid game. JB and Derrick White both had slow starts to the game but had monster 3rd quarters that got the Celtics right back in it. Outside of the horrible shooting, late game execution wasn't what you wanted to see. We only gave up 8 oreb BUT one of them was to Oubre with 8 seconds left and his putback put Philly up 102-100. After that, JB caught the ball heading towards the sideline and was forced to pass the ball to White who got it tipped away from Drummond and they barely got a shot off so it certainly left a lot to be desired. Jordan Walsh started the 2nd half, played nearly the whole 4th quarter and ALMOST got it done defensively in the final 90 seconds with his defense on Tyrese Maxey. While the Celtics suffered a disappointing loss in Philly, they can walk away knowing they're seeing some significant role player development while Jayson Tatum recovers. Also covered; Jaylen Brown is freakin' awesome, and Derrick White teased us with a preview of what being "back" might look like.

The Celtics come up with a great 111-107 win over the Magic and this one was fueled by the excellent play of our bench. The Player of the Game in my eyes in Luka Garza who ended the night with 16pts 8reb 3ast and a steal and came up huge down the stretch of this game but also helped fuel a 13-0 run mid fourth to give the Celtics an 11pt lead. Anfernee Simons added 25pts in this one all of which came in the first half and he single handedly not only kept us in the game but got us the lead in the second quarter. Jordan Walsh was also incredible adding 6pts 6reb 4ast and 2stl including some huge plays down the stretch including a dagger 3 to go up 110-105 with 12 seconds left so very impactful performance from him.JB continued playing at a high level with 27pts in this one and we got a really good 4th quarter from Derrick White as part of his 21pt 3stl game. White was a true menace on the defensive side all night alongside Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez. This wasn't a perfect game but it felt damn good after the last couple from this team! About the Guest:Charles Stoker is a respected basketball developer in the DFW Metroplex known for building players from the ground up. Episode Summary:In this episode of It's Just Different, Ashley Roberts sits down with Charles to expose the difference between training and development. If you're a basketball parent, this is the truth you've been needing. Key Takeaways:- Training ≠ Development – There's a difference, and most parents don't know it.- Development requires patience, not just reps.- You need someone who can grow the full player, not just their bag.- Family, fun, and fundamentals still win.

In an incredible response to their first two-game losing streak of the season, they bounced back with an undermanned squad, blowing out the Indiana Pacers by nearly 40 points. Jaylen Brown reminded us of his physical dominance over the rest of the league, while Payton Pritchard bounced back from a mini-slump. On this pod, we cover why fans should not be concerned (yet), why back-to-back championships are historically improbable, and why it's finally time for Jordan Walsh to be given consistent playing time.
