Welcome back to Episode 8 of the Hard Hitting Sports Podcast! We have another jam packed episode with lots of information to cover across all 3 sports! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are you "Super Bowl LV" Champions. Behind Brady, Gronk, and that stellar Tampa Bay Defense, the Bucs came out victorious with a 31-9 win over the Chiefs. Jack and Jordan dive into to their takeaways and turning points in the game. We discuss how the Referees did not impact the game as much as some people may like to think, and discuss who we thought should've been the MVP of the game (No disrespect to Tommy Boy). Jack and Jordan discuss the Bucks' and Kings' surges atop the NBA, and how role players are really helping those teams on their winning streaks. We then go into our season to date Power Rankings, reviewing our top 10 teams. Trevor Bauer has officially signed a contract and it was not with the Mets. The Dodgers make a huge splash in the NL West signing Bauer, but why does Jack think this deal benefits Bauer more than the Dodgers? Ozuna returns to the Braves, Yadi returns home to Saint Louis, and the AL West shakes things up with the Elvis Andrus trade. As always, we end with some late hits and Trivia! Thank you all so much for your support!

On this week's episode of The Hard Hitting Sports Podcast, we have our friends Mitch and Eric join for their season award predictions, as well as their Super Bowl preview. We review our keys to the game for each team, go over our picks, and even include some fun Super Bowl Trivia. Jack and Jordan then go into the QB Carousel and give their thoughts on the Matthew Stafford trade to the Rams. They then review potential landing spots for Deshaun Watson. With some crazy finishes in the NBA going on, Jack and Jordan take a look into the NBA. The Rockets and Grizzlies are trending in the right direction, but the Mavs are not. Although the Celtics may not have been playing well as of late, the Jazz, despite their loss, are still poised to make a deep playoff run. And why do Jack and Jordan disagree about the Nets? Jack shares his sadness on the retirement of Dustin Pedroia, while Jordan takes a deeper look into Sir Didi's contract with the Phillies. What a trade for the St. Louis Cardinals, acquiring a top 10 player over the last decade. To be able to get Nolan Arenado and a free $50 million is pretty good deal. As always, we end with some late hits and games to look forward to in the NBA. Enjoy the Super Bowl everyone!

Episode 6! You can now Count on 2 hands the number of episodes recorded for The Hard Hitting Sports Podcast! Speaking of things you can count on 2 Hands, Tom Brady is heading to his 10th Super Bowl! The Tampa Buccaneers won a hard fought battle in Green Bay. Their defense looked strong and the Packers' offense couldn't handle that D-line. The Chiefs, on the other hand, started down early, per usual, but found a way to win on the backs of Tyreek, Kelce, and Mahomes. Jack and Jordan walk you through all the best moments from Championship Weekend and look at some of the coaching changes and retirements around the league. The Jazz continue to roll over opponents, raising their winning streak to 8 games. Point Guards, both young and old, are showing why this is a Point Guard driven League! Colin Sexton and Steph Curry had great weeks when speaking about Point Guards. Jack and Jordan also discuss how the battle between their teams went this past week. Although Philly got the upper hand, did Jaylen Brown move into the MVP discussion?? Jack has 2 rants this week, so please bear with him. He lays into the MLBPA rejecting the expanded playoffs and Universal DH, then gives his 2 cents about the Baseball Hall of Fame voting. We discuss the moves being made in the AL East, especially the ones being made North of the border. Also, who else heard about the Red Sox and Yankees' trade? As always, we end with our late hits! Episode 5 of the Hard Hitting Sports Podcast is live and ready to go! This turned out to be another information filled episode, where we have our longest MLB segment of the year. Please enjoy! NFL Divisional Weekend is in the books! Jack and Jordan review all 4 games from this past week and give their takeaways from the games. The NFL Coaching carousel is starting to come to a halt, as five teams have hired new Head Coaches in the last week, so we dig into our favorite signings. James Harden was traded! (almost a week ago now). The boys review his hot start in Brooklyn, Philly's outstanding depth, and the Orlando Magic's struggles. The injury bug may have found it's way to Portland, but their Division foes in Utah are starting to surge. And should the Lakers be concerned about their performance against the Warriors? The Yankees made big moves! Getting Kluber and LeMahieu was huge for New York, but why is Jack so hyped about 2 left handed pitchers who signed contracts this past week? As always, we end with some (positive and negative) Late Hits, and give our NFL Conference Championship Weekend Preview.
