As NFL Free Agency continues, the Broncos trade rumors surrounding Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton have subsided, but Denver's interest in free-agent wide receivers still continues. With previously known interest in Allen Lazard, and Adam Thielen, could the Broncos be in on big names like Odell Beckham Jr, Mecole Hardman, Kenny Golladay, and DJ Chark? This doesn't come as a surprise. The four-year, $72 million contract handed out by Dave Gettleman ended up being a total dud. This move (if not done post-June 1) will clear $6.7M in cap space for 2023 and Golladay will be off the books in 2024. New York's #2 Sports Show is an Influencer Audio production. Adam and Andy break down the first big off-season move for the Giants. Yes Joe Schoen has provided more cap relief to work with this offseason, but how it gets spent will be in large part determined by the negotiations with Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. The guys discuss if Kenny Golladay will catch on elsewhere in the NFL, and how additional cap space could or should be spent. Will there be a big slash made or is this the continued process of rebuilding the roster and preparing for the Dexter Lawrence and Andrew Thomas extensions. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/support
Six straight for @nyknicks beat @celtics last night & passed @brooklynnets for 5th seed in the East. Host the #nets at #msg tomorrow night. #kandremiller 3 game suspension from @nyrangers for spitting. Big game @nhlbruins Saturday afternoon he will be missed. #marchmadness is almost here. Conference tournaments already starting. I would love the @nfl to let #roughingthepasser be reviewable. And the 4th and 15 instead of an #onsidekick from the @xfl I love that one. #kennygolladay @nygiants will release him. He was a legendary bust.

Hour 1: Chris and Steve give their thoughts on the Giants releasing WR Kenny Golladay.
Rob and Drew sit down with Giants enthusiast Mace to go over one of our weakest groups Wide Receivers. We had some step up at different times in the season like Darius Slayton Isaiah Hodgins and Richie James. The NY Giants had some huge disappointments in Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney who obviously was traded mid season to the Chiefs. We also had some contributions from David Sills and Marcus Johnson. As usual the New York Giants also had some key injuries at WR namely to Sterling Shepard and rookie Wan'Dale Robinson. Where do we go from here? Do the Giants sign a free agent? Does NYG draft one?
Adam discusses the $44 million dollars in ca space that Joe Schoen will have to work with this off-season to improve the Giants roster. In just two quick potential moves, the contracts of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley will eat up nearly all of that space. There are glaring decisions on the roster from Leonard Williams $32m dollar cap hit, and the Dave Gettleman hold-over mistake Kenny Golladay who occupies a 2023 salary of $21m Adjusting, releasing or trading these two players would give the Giants significant financial wiggle room. That matters, because as Adam highlights there are a minimum of four starting roles on both offense and defense that must be upgraded to put Big Blue in a position to complete next season. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/onegiantpodcast/support

Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are back talking the conclusion of the Giants regular season. They kick things off singing the praises of Brain Daboll and the coaching staff who managed to rest all the key starters while going deep enough into the roster and playbook to provide Philadelphia a week 18 scare. Inside those reserve efforts, Shaun and Paul highlight Cordale Flott and Dane Belton as key rookies who look poised to take on larger roles in the years to come. Now of course, Shaun has to spotlight Kenny Golladay and his high-point touchdown from Davis Webb. His tenure has been far from ideal with Big Blue, and yet Golladay showed off that vintage form for at least one play this year. Naturally they also tip their hat to Davis Webb who stepped in to cap off the regular season. They guys close out looking at where Daniel Jones stands in the spectrum of NFC playoff QB's and how the Giants look well prepared to head into wildcard weekend with optimism and belief. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Eagles beating the Giants. Davis Webb threw a TD to Kenny Golladay. Saquon Barkley can't wait to play in Wild Card Weekend. Gio said the difference in coaches between the Giants and Vikings is ‘stark'. Joe Flacco's son is a huge Tyreek Hill fan and he got to meet him. We heard play by play from Bills radio on the second kickoff return. Dan Campbell is upset that the season is over. ‘Stop playin' with us, we the Detroit Lions!' The Cowboys got smoked by the Commanders and Jerry Jones said ‘we get to suck on that all week'. The Nets won again, but they lost Kevin Durant to a knee injury. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Sean McVay possibly leaving the Rams. We also talked about the Jets bringing Zach Wilson back for a third year. Why would Zach Wilson want to be here next year?
Hour 1: Gio has already conceded that his Vikings are going to lose to the Giants this coming weekend. He won't be upset about it because he already knows it's his destiny that it's going to happen. Boomer is trying to talk up Gio to believe in his team but he's not buying it. Gio is already congratulating the Giants on beating the Vikings. The Giants didn't play many starters, but Brian Daboll appreciated the effort of those that played. Davis Webb enjoyed starting at QB. Jalen Hurts felt sore after the game. The Jets lost their last six, but Rob Saleh still believes in his team. The Jets haven't had a TD in 3 games and have scored only 44 points in their last 5 games. We heard from Nantz & Romo on the Bills opening kickoff return. The Lions beat the Packers in Lambeau keeping Aaron Rodgers out of the playoffs. Quay Walker of the Packers shoved a member of the Lions medical staff. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about how bad the Dallas Cowboys offense looked yesterday. The Jets have been so confused on what they are doing with Zach Wilson and the rest of the QBs on the team. Boomer said pink slips are coming today for coaches around the league. The Jets have been terrible, not scoring a TD in the final 3 weeks. Hour 2: Wild Card Weekend is set and most of these games are toss ups. We play ‘Guess The Spread' for Wild Card Weekend. Gio is becoming the Vikings' ‘Sphere of Negativity' according to Boomer. The Nets won again, but they lost Kevin Durant to a knee injury. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Sean McVay possibly leaving the Rams. We also talked about the Jets bringing Zach Wilson back for a third year. Why would Zach Wilson want to be here next year? Hour 3: Joe Flacco's son was at the game wearing a Tyreek Hill Dolphins jersey. Gio can't believe it. You can't have your kid wearing the opposing team's jersey. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the popularity of the NFL as far as TV ratings. Brian Daboll thought the defense played well against the Eagles. Jalen Hurts was hurting badly after the game. Sean McDermott talked about the emotions in the Bills/Patriots game. Gio wonders if the Bills will rest their starters against Miami :). The Lions beat the Packers at Lambeau field to send the Seahawks to the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers said it was a frustrating season with ‘beautiful moments'. Dak talked about his performance against Washington. Brandon Staley talked about why the Chargers played their starters for so long. Brock Purdy said they need to play better even though they had no problem beating the Cardinals. Lovie Smith was fired by Houston. Hour 4: We went through the best and worst odds to win the Super Bowl for the teams in the playoffs. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer has some ratings from the Damar Hamlin Monday night game. Brian Daboll was happy with the effort his backups gave yesterday against the Eagles. The Jets lost to the Dolphins 11-6. What a score. The Jets did a ‘pitchy pitchy woo woo' at the end of the game. The Jets average 11 points over six games. Bill Belichick will be back for his 24th season with the Patriots. Dan Campbell was excited for the Lions' win last night. Jerry hates the 17 game season and the way the records are uneven. The Nets won again last night but KD suffered a knee injury. In the final segment of the show, Bernie Kosar was fired by Browns radio for betting on the final Browns game of the season. NFL employees are not allowed to bet on the games. Let's fire Bernie Kosar but give Deshaun Watson the richest contract in NFL history.

Hour 1: Boomer & Gio are working the day after Thanksgiving because the Giants had a huge game against the Cowboys on Turkey Day. Unfortunately for Big Blue, they lost. The short-handed Giants couldn't keep up with the Cowboys and now they are in a battle for a playoff spot. Can they get two more wins with their tough schedule? Daniel Jones couldn't make the biggest play of the game and Micah Parsons came through for the Cowboys. CLo is in for Jerry and begins with the Giants big missed fourth down attempt. Boomer loves how Bob Papa and Carl Banks called out Daniel Jones for not making a better throw. Brian Daboll was not happy at all in his postgame press conference. The Cowboys want Odell and Boomer says there's no way he's signing with the Giants after yesterday. The Vikings beat the Patriots thanks in part to a controversial overturned call and Gio tells Boomer he's impossible to deal with. The Lions gave the Bills a scare but Josh Allen led a drive in the final seconds to win the game. In the final segment of the hour, Gio asks if the Bills should still be favorites to win the Super Bowl. Then, a caller asks if the Giants went for it on 4th down too early in the game. Both Boomer and Gio are firm with their response. Hour 2: The Jets benched Zach Wilson right after Wednesday's show ended and Gio is surprised Robert Saleh pulled the trigger in benching Wilson for Mike White. Gio thinks the Jets could have something with Mike White but Boomer says not so fast. Boomer does agree with the Jets head coach that the second-year QB needs this “reset”. The guys agree that Zach Wilson has been overwhelmed by the NFL and playing in New York. CLo returns for an update and before he starts we cover Zoo playing hurt, a butter shortage and a World Cup update. CLo then begins the real update with one of three Cowboys second-half touchdowns, this one on a 3rd & 15. Carl Banks says that long conversion on 3rd down is what it is because of injuries in the secondary and Boomer agrees. Daniel Jones missed a big throw to Saquon Barkley on 4th down and both players took responsibility for the play not being made. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer's former Jets teammate Glenn Foley calls in to talk about what it was like being a young QB backing up Boomer. Hour 3: Gio wonders if the conversations about extensions for Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley started too soon. Boomer says yesterday's game was more on the shoulders of the QB than the RB. Gio wonders if the Giants could join the Jets in the market for a veteran QB and Boomer thinks the Jets are a better destination. Boomer says Jones isn't a great QB but is a great leader and he could be better with a better supporting cast. A caller asks about Mike LaFleur and the guys agree, the Jets OC has had Qbs not named Zach Wilson produce positive results. CLo returns for an update and starts with the Giants only having 10 men on the field for their failed first down. Boomer makes it clear that Daniel Jones is responsible for the play not working. CLo wonders if players enjoy playing on Thanksgiving? When discussing Zach Wilson, Boomer says when you lose the locker room that's all she wrote. In the final segment of the hour, Gio shares a recent golf story that started with a jubilant win and ended with a trophy being ripped from his hands. Then, the guys wonder how much Aaron Judge is enjoying San Francisco. Hour 4: Boomer and Gio look at auction items available for bid on Boomer's website. Gio thinks Mike White has a shot to play well and Boomer says White has a limited ceiling. Is Saquon Barkley playing hurt? CLo returns for his last update of the day and before he begins, Gio shares some World Cup/working from home related office drama. The Giants couldn't convert a big 4th and 1 in a loss to the Cowboys and Brian Daboll was not in a good mood after the game. We learn how much CLo can't stand the Devils.
