Brad's wife had always dreamed of being a heart surgeon but had settled for nursing instead with the news of their first pregnancy a decade earlier. Maybe it was curiosity, maybe it was unrealized desperation for community; whatever it was, he decided to show up to a workout. The rest is history. He began posting 5 to 7 times a week. By the end of summer 2023, he had lost almost 60 lbs and gained so many friendships that he never thought he would experience again.

In Fanny Packs bio he said that he was EH to F3 by his brother's salty. Took a couple times, but the last time he says quote unquote, it's Wednesday, June 10th, 2020. He says, these guys are great, Solid dudes. Me, just okay.
My F3 story is probably somewhat unique. No one person “EH'd” me. Somewhere, in the back of my brain I had heard about F3 probably near its start in Knoxville.During the pandemic, I decided to do P90X at home. I went through the 90 days and really enjoyed the workouts, how I was beginning to feel, and the new energy I had. However, around the 45 day mark I found myself muting Mr. Tony Horton during the workouts. I knew them almost all by heart and the repetitive nature of them was KILLING ME. Once school started back in the Fall of 2020, I had given up on continuing P90X and wasn't working out. However, I found something. When spending the summer of 2020 applying for and interviewing for Administration jobs in Knox County Schools, I noticed that two of the principals I was interviewing with were “mutual friends” with my old buddy Andy, aka “Dimples”. I was able to tell that they were friends because they all “liked” F3Knoxville. I looked it up, poking around on social media and the website, and thought it seemed cool. There was even a location 5 mins from my house! That was in June/July of 2020.I changed jobs in November of 2020, becoming an Assistant Principal at Carter High School. Because of COVID restrictions and having to be at the school at 7:30 am each morning to take the temperature of the students as they entered the building, I thought that there was no way that I could get to this F3 workout, come home, shower, get ready, and make it to school in time.

My name is Sawyer Green. I am from Athens, GA. I am 37 years old. I have enjoyed running since elementary school along with basketball. I was raised in church and Christian school, but it was more legalistic than anything. That outlook and experience led me to being emotionally searching for more. Drugs and alcohol became the solution for me starting junior year of high school. In 2014 I went through a program called No Longer Bound. 1 year long treatment for males over 18 years old. Jesus used that place to expose my belief system and so much more. He pursued me on an intimate level, and my life has been better ever since. I have not used a drug since 12/7/2014, but alcohol has popped up a few times in rough seasons of my life.

started with F3 in November of 2020. As many were in 2020, I was looking for a way to improve my quality of life and build stronger friendships'. I had also just got threw my first ever knee surgery and needed to boost my fitness. My story with F3 does start before 2020 though, it was around 2018 when I was first invited out to F3 by a pax named Drifter. Like many men, when I asked what time, they meet it was a fast no from me. Fast forward 2 years and I found myself in a meeting with Drifter at work. This time something inside me was pushing me to ask Drifter if he was still involved “in that workout thing”. Of course, like most of us it was a “Yes” with a huge smile and a business card in hand. With no real idea why I was working out at 5:30 in the cold since it was November, a healing knee, and the mentality that I was a former college football player so I can do any workout I posted to my first beatdown. I was humiliated, destroyed, and hooked from that day on.
