This week we've bitten off more than we can chew. We explore Paradoxes! There's some philosophical avenues to explore, as well as some complex time travel scenarios. Can nuclear war truly be deterred? In typical OTT fashion, we look at pop culture and previous episodes. But our biggest question is, does one Paradox allow us to harness the energy of buttered toast and resolve the world's energy crisis?!#GITS
This week, Alex & Dan are showing off their newly gifted wing-suit (sans cowl!) as they take to the orange sofa to discuss the 35th MCU film and the fourth in the Captain America franchise - it's a Brave New World! The film can be tied up in 2hours, but does it tell us a consistent and enoyable storyline, full of impressive fight sequences, improved CGI (since Quantumania!) and a rich interwoven web of backstory for relatable characters? It's the big one of the year! Alex & Dan take to the orange sofa of the South Coast in the UK to discuss what they are looking forward to in the world of entertainment this year! In usual good fashion, they reflect on their hopes and dreams for 2024 - and some didn't materialise or quite hit the mark as they had intended - will this year be any different? This week, we continue with the Festive Season, deep diving into one of THE most notorious folklore figures during Christmas - it's Krampus! The dynamic duo take to the research notes to bring you the origins, regional variations and how different countries "celebrate" the punishment-dealing antithesis of Saint Nick. If Krampus isn't horrifying enough, Alex brings some festive demons who sometimes accompany our hairy, chain-wielding fiend - featuring Hans Trapp, a child-eating Scarecrow and Pertcha, also known as the 'Belly Slitter'. Yup, it doesn't get more festive than this. Sit back, try and relax, but whatever you do - ensure you're nice this holiday season - as we bring you what to do and what not to do this Christmas! #GITS
It's time to return to the not-so-mean streets of Old Portsmouth to the cinema and back, to bring you their honest thoughts on the only real Christmas film to hit the cinema's this winter - Red One. Not heard much about it? Neither have we - which might explain some things we discuss... anyway, this stars The Rock - Johnson's Red One, featuring MCU alumni Chris Evans (formerly Captain America) and J K Simmons (J Jonah Jameson of Spider-Man... all of the Spider-Man's, in fact....). Breaking with tradition, this is somewhat of a spoilerific brief review fresh from the recliner cinema seats, so sit back and relax as Alex & Dan take you on a short tour once more! #GITS
From OTT #104, we bring you the second sitting of Your Favourite 90s Kids TV Shows! From animated classics with intro music bangers (Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?), to chipper flute introductions with Bernards Watch, we have quite the selection of TV programmes which will take you all the way back to that golden age of society! Featuring questions on morality around what young Alex & Dan would do if they could harness the power of an Alien space craft (Aquila!), time stopping abilities (Bernards Watch) and infinite wishes (The Queen's Nose!). It also seems the dynamic duo of the south coast slip back into discussions around awakening dormant feelings of the opposite sex as young adolesents - and on safer ground, discuss the joys of plastic figurines much sought-after during 90s Christmasses and the toys which came and went throughout their childhood! As always, it gets nostalgic at OTT Central - sit back, relax and enjoy another trip down memory lane! #GITS
You (and we, frankly!) wanted more - so we're back on the orange sofa this week with a brief revisit to the phenomena covered in the last episode: Time Slips! Sit back, relax and enjoy the trip - it's another one for the Rabbit Hole! #GITS
The air feels electric, suddenly there is no sound - you feel faint. You then look around you, dazed but notice something is different, off. People are dressed differently, shop fronts have changed and there's horse drawn carriages where there were once cars. You've timeslipped. This week, Alex & Dan discuss the phenomena of the Timeslip and give you some recounts from across the UK and closer to home over the last 60 years. There's been more than a few "trips" when there have been Brits abroad; a cheap stay to a run in with a famous historical figure; a Roman legion marching in a cellar under the streets of York - to the [in]famous Broad Street in Liverpool, where shoppers and shoplifters alike recount their odd tales and experiences! Sit back, relax and enjoy the trip - it's another one for the Rabbit Hole! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan take to the sofa with all the receipts, talking through life in the MCU since the highs of 2019's Avengers Endgame. From directors just needing a payday, dodgy VFX to challenging actors and lawsuits - a revised Multiverse Saga, a huge investment in old and familiar faces and a pause - and in some cases indefinite one - on TV and Film projects! What's next for Marvel Disney in the next few years - and are there enough of us left to care anymore? Sit back, relax and join in on the debate - the fate of our very universe depends upon it! #GITS
This week, we return to the sofa as we continue the conversation with Southern Ghost Society on their top locations and finishing with their number ones! Including conversations around residual hauntings and session ettitquette, there's plenty to mull over and reflect on during this year's chat. Sit back, relax, keep those lights on - and stay tuned for a ghostly discussion for this year's Halloween episode! #GITS
This week, we've got a full sofa as we invite Southern Ghost Society back for another year of ghostly going's on and handy tips on what to do and what not to do on a Paranormal Investigation. In Part 1 of this 2-parter (!), we meet Lee and Michael who come along with their own experiences, discussing the group's Top 5 locations from their visits so far. As was last year, we don't just cover off the spooky and unexplained, we also touch on some philopsophical debate as well as try and provide some explanation for the unexplained. Sit back, relax, keep those lights on - and stay tuned for a ghostly discussion for this year's Halloween episode! #GITS
This week Alex & Dan are grabbing their suitcases and they're boarding the OTT Plane as they embark on a trip around the world to bring you the most haunted locations! From ghostly figures walking the halls of old prisons to an Empire of Death beneath the Parisian city streets - reports of ghostly goings on and headless Queens to splendid old stately homes which definitely shouldn't be Bed & Breakfasts! Alex & Dan also ponder why so many of these places have Michelin star restaurants and ethereal pets makes an appearance, which is new for OTT Halloween! Draw those curtains, turn on the lights and enjoy another episode of Spooky Season as we make our way to the big day! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan continue 2024's Spooky Season with True Horror Stories! Featuring Dolls who seemingly never want to leave, a very dark Hotel where people visit for something other than an overnight stay, a dangerous Paranormal Investigation site and a sighting of a Cryptid - this sounds like it has a volume 1 all over it! In true OTT style, Alex throws an improv scenario at Dan as they role play an awkward cross-country phone call - and they reflect on who you call if you find dead animals in your walls whilst you're redecorating; it's a niche problem, but one it seems can happen.... Sit back, try and relax as the dynamic duo of the south coast deliver some unsettling, seemingly True Horror Stories.... #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan are travelling around the world to bring you some interesting and at times, surprising traditions during the Halloween period! From money baked in bread (although we doubt credit cards will be added to traditions any time soon!), root veg lanterns to kite flying and Horse's heads on sticks - not a trick or treater to be found! Also featuring discussions on waterboarding children, perfumed floral sweets, spandex bulges, Disney Land comparisons - to beige food, Lunar Park in Portsmouth and our own traditions - sit back, grab your sweets as we take you on a trip for this first episode of OTT's 2024 Spooky Season! #GITS
This week Alex & Dan delve back into the vaults to bring you an episode from the TWRAD days - and it's the big one! From 23 films over 10 years, the south coast dynamic duo have a tough task this week, as they have to choose their favourite moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and thanks to the power of social media, the listener's lend a hand and share some of theirs, too! From where it all began with Iron Man back in 2008 with RDJ uttering those most famous words, Samuel L Jackson walking out of the shadows in the post credit scenes - to a miniature battle from 2015's Ant-Man, dance off's in Guardians of the Galaxy and the reveal of Peter Parker's identity in Spider-Man Homecoming - the boys do their best to cover some of the most iconic scenes from the first three phases! The duo digress during this session, pitching their epic movie ideas with the pizza-fed New York rodent versus the mutant south coast Seagull (are you in?). Dan also discusses bootleg Dr Dre CD's in Time Square and some of the tourist trappings which he experienced during his time in the city.... but what does that have to do with the First Avenger? #GITS
This week, we're going back to a simpler time - the 90s. It was a time where you'd get a copy of the local directory, play in the streets and in the woods for hours at a time without a care in the world... and drink cafeinated clear coke like Dan. In a revelation, young Alex enjoyed playing with Polly Pocket (it's 2024, nothing wrong with that!) - but so did a young Dan apparently! From TV shows long forgotten to plastic digital toys the likes of Tamagotchi's - how did they fare? It's an episode of nostalgia, along with plenty of YOUR memories, too - including the notorious flammable shell suit! Sit back, relax and take the time machine back to your childhood, here at OTT central! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan traverse the multiverse once more to bring you their review of Deadpool's 3rd 4th wall-breaking-billion dollar box office listing - Deadpool & Wolverine! As usual, the dynamic duo cover the synopsis, their thoughts on the 34rd MCU film (!) and Alex is dishing up some tasty Easter Eggs for a change - and of course - there's many to cover this time around! Who spoilt the film for them 1.5 weeks after release? Does the film suffer from underwhelming villains again? Can the film be simplified in one sentence? All these questions answered - and more! Also thanks to the power of social media - we have some of YOUR thoughts and ponderings for the state of the MCU overall - sit back, relax and reload those Wolverine arms, as it's about to get messy! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan are hot off the heels of not one, but three (!) On The Go episodes and clearing their back catalogue - the first up is the country-ific (?) tornado disaster sequel film, Twisters! As is usual fare, Dan struggles with some difficult scientific ingredients (to be fair, it is a mouthful!), Alex educates the masses on some real world use of Silver Iodide (because, science!) and there's discussions around red flags and creepy characters. There's the usual favourite bits, not so favourite bits and as a bonus, we have some BTS content on the making of the film. Sit back, relax and get yourself your favourite cowboy boots - because this one is a doozy! #GITS
We're turning back the clock to 2007, joining Sony with their 25 years celebrating the famous wall crawler on the cinema screens. What else was popular in 2007? Glad you asked - Gordon Brown was Prime Minister in the UK, it was a year of threequels (Spider-Man 3, Shrek the Third, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) and there were world-defining events in Banking. The less we talk about the latter, the better. Anyway, for a special On The Go episode, the Dynamic South Coast duo return to the not-so-mean streets of Old Portsmouth to the cinema and back, to bring you their honest thoughts on the final outing of Maguire's solo Spider-Man franchise - with a cacophony of villains and meme-worthy dancing, Alex & Dan reflect on their memories of watching the film when it was a simpler time - and whether it still holds up in the leather recliners all these years later! #GITS
This week, the Dynamic South Coast duo return to the not-so-mean streets of Old Portsmouth to the cinema and back, to bring you their honest thoughts on the latest outing of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool - featuring the familiar face of Fox's grumpiest mutant - Hugh Jackman's Wolverine!
This is the 34th MCU Film (!) with lots to discuss and plenty of easter eggs - but this is as usual, a spoiler-free review fresh from the recliner cinema seats - the main review episode will follow shortly.
The dynamic duo also end up gazing into the bright glare of an otherworldly being, who wields the power of the actual sun in their glorious travelling machine. What does it all mean and is it the end for them? Who knows! They're as confused as you will be! So sit back and relax as Alex & Dan take you on a short tour once more! #GITS
It's oddly been a long time since the dynamic south coast duo have been to the cinema for a review (all the way back to November '23's OTT #97 The Marvels!) - and this week they return to the not-so-mean streets of Old Portsmouth to the cinema and back, to bring you their honest thoughts on the spirital successor to the 90s disaster movie classic Twisters! This is as usual, a spoiler-free review fresh from the recliner cinema seats, so sit back and relax as Alex & Dan take you on a short tour once more! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan return to the archives to bring you some of the most famous movie scripts never to have seen the light of day! Some films are ready for release and get pulled at the last minute; some for tax write-off reasons. Others because the scrips are just absolutely bat sh*t. Alex & Dan pick some of their favourite films, destined to remain on the writer's room floor. From dark horror sequels from distinct PG-rated family films, to canned Disney Pixar concepts - the southcoast dynamic duo discuss some interesting plots never to adorn the silver screen or our living room TVs! Also as always, a massive thanks to the listeners, we also discuss the state of a once much-loved franchise and how it will spin off another episode in the coming weeks - contact details at the end of the episode and below - get involved! #GITS
This week, the dynamic duo of the Southcoast ditch the sofa for the gaming chairs, as they discuss some of their all time favourite gaming moments - and thanks to the power of social media - some of yours too! From the shooty shooty bang bang of Red Dead Redemption and Halo 3, to the mystical glows of Final Fantasy VII and Zelda: Ocarina of Time, we discuss our top gaming moments. It probably should be saddest gaming deaths, it's a bit bleak - but look, they're memorable for a reason! Alex recalls a simpler time, running down to Debenhams for Call of Duty and Dan calls back to his retail days, "have you got THE game?". Take a trip down memory lane and enjoy some of yester-year's best gaming moments! #GITS
This week Alex & Dan delve back into the vaults to bring you a COVID-19 classic; Flawed Pop Culture Gadets and Weapons! Continuing the show from quarantine using digital tools to bring you time-relevant delicious podcast content whilst maintaining appropriate social distancing, this episode saw the dynamic duo discussing some utterly pointless, random and truly unique gadgets and weapons from the movie world, they share some of their favourites; from the Scuba Duck outfit to a slow time travelling car - this episode has it all! There's also a public service announcement during this episode, all thanks to an exceptionally loud laptop fan in a previous episode! Sit back, relax and enjoy some much deserved continual alone-time during this period of isolation. #GITS
This week we're cracking out the candles once again and taking to the sofa with some beers and choice crisps, to accompany yet another year of ecletic questions and answers! We asked and yet again, as always, you did not dissapoint! From haunted locations which Dan is threatening to take Alex on, to Jedi's vs. Wizards - all time line up musician bands to deadly comedians; our Mount Rushmore of MCU films, drinking liquers from shoes to Pompey's Mad Pooper (is that a thing?) - and then some questions, we rather wouldn't have been asked! The show must go on, however! Thanks again for all of your contributions, messages and episodes over the last year - here's to many more! #GITS
This week, we're going back to 1997 with the now-cult classic sci-fi film review of Starship Troopers! Doing their part, Alex & Dan return to the sofa with a retrospective review of what was initially a concern of a far-right advertisement and alleged wooden performances by a stellar line up! Discussing the production, plot, reviews and how it ended up creating a range of sequels and spin off's, the duo guide you through the gory adventures of Jonny Rico and Dizzy! Recounting their memories of when they first saw the film (Alex at one of his earliest pre-teen sleep overs!) and Dan's dodgy tape deliveries at the back of a van, it's another trip down the nostalgia lane for the dynamic southcoast duo! Alex also needs to explain the birds and the bees with Dan, with an uncomfortable parental discussion on arousing thoughts... who'd have thought this podcast would remain in the gutter? Come on! We all did, let's face it..... #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan discuss famous abodes from the silver screen and the tv streaming world - where for the small price of an overnight stay, you can have a bed in a famous house/location from your favourite film/tv show! From the Fresh Prince to the X-Men Mansions, pictureseque lodges in Sex Education to the Home Alone House and the Spice World Bus - yes, we discuss all of these places and more! Sit back and relax as we bring you some stellar stays - and thanks to the power of social media - some of your ideal locations, too! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan take to the South Coast sofa for another chin wag - this time, to discuss some actors who have put in the hard graft and just simply don't get the proper recognition for their supporting roles. On the flip side, some seem to get all the roles and appear to be one-sided and typecasted - the travesty of it all! Inadvertantly throwing shade, this episode links to our pre-OTT days (link below!) Your Hollywood Divas Vol.1 episode! Who has on paper, lots of acolades but simply seems to be the same cooky, slightly deranged character? Who can traverse the tv streaming and silver screen platforms, break cultural barriers and still not be reconigised for their achievements? What do wrestlers have to do with it all? Sit back and relax as we bring you our thoughts - and thanks to the power of social media - some of yours too! #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan take to the sofa to discuss Jon Negroni's Disney Pixar Theory - they're all connnected! From The Good Dinosaur and Brave, all the way to Monsters Inc. - there's a tall tale of the rise of AI (we've discussed this before, of course!), the demise of the Human race and the anthropomorphic nature of animals - your viewing of these films will never be the same again! Boo ends up being more important than we ever could imagine and the impact of Buy-N-Large is far reaching - it's time to grab those tin foil hats! It's a doozy! #GITS
This week, it's the unthinkable (but inevitable, really) - Alex & Dan take to the sofa to talk about the nefarious, world-famous jogger-come-Mad Pooper. That's right - it's been a long time coming (some might say backed up!), but the dynamic duo of the South Coast of the UK cover the repeat offender of Colorado Springs, what were the motives, suspects - and some similar stories from across the world. Dan and Alex discuss what endorsements or pay out's they'd take - and Alex talks about Google Trends on poop and what a "poop noodle" is (don't Google it if you don't know. It's better that way). You'd be forgiven for skipping this one - but to be fair, it is only a bit of fun... until someone defecates in your front garden... #GITS
This week, Alex & Dan are going back to the movie archives and discussing some of their most distressing and life-affirming movie deaths. Who was done the dirty, when mere moments after they were skewered, their friends forget about them? Hyenas will forever be the instrument of nefarious wrongdoing - and why did Alex have literal tears in his eyes recounting a particular iconic scene from one of Denzel Washington's back catalogue? Most of these films are from the 90s children's silver screen and they have absolutely no right to go this hard! Dan returns to the stage as he auditions for Alex's opening traumatic death - for the consideration of Best Recreation of a Cinematic Childhood Trauma at 2025's Oscars! These, amongst many are some of the dynamic duo's jarring deaths - and thanks to the power of social media - we have plenty of yours too! Who's cutting onions? We're not crying - YOU'RE CRYING. #GITS

This week, Alex & Dan go back into the Vaults and once more delve deep into their childhood as they discuss TV shows which had them glued to the rear projection set in the early mornings during the weekends! Featuring a "feckless inventor" making dangerous children's toys for toddlers, a reckless science teacher who shouldn't have had a driving licence, an elephant King of Celesteville and the treacherous trek of wood animals straight from the BBC, amongst many. I'm not crying, you're crying! Alex also shares his frustrations as a small child with the Argos catalogue and the ever elusive Wolverine figurine, Dan once more recounts some harrowing childhood stories, straight from the playground - and there's a drug-safety message embedded in the episode (take someone who know's what they're doing with you!) #GITS
It's a new year over at OTT Central on the South Coast of Portsmouth, UK and Alex & Dan are once more delving down the rabbit hole - this week, to talk about Simulation Theory! The central premise is that an advanced civilization, possibly far beyond our current technological capabilities, has created a complex simulation that mimics the conditions of our universe. Apparently its more than possible though.... nearly 50% likely! Things get philosophical for the dynamic duo on the sofa this week, as they talk Religion, Fate, Luck (or being unlucky!), paranormal events, space, science... this episode has it all. Sit back, relax and enjoy the episode which brings all of the Rabbit Hole playlist together - you're in for a wild ride! #GITS
This week Alex & Dan partake in their annual review of the year ahead and what they are looking forward to: from blockbuster films, streaming series to gaming and music!
