Congratulations to the cast and crew of this film for being nominated for Fangoria Chainsaw Award! Huge accomplishment in the horror community and well deserved! This is a monster movie that I can get behind because of the originality and creativity and not to mention the phenomenal cast: Krsy Fox, Barbara Crampton, Heather Langenkamp, Bonnie Aarons and Chaz Bono. This movie speaks volumes about a mother protecting her daughter and for me, it home. Please give a warm welcome to Jon Sklaroff.I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jon and getting the inside scoop behind his character and the movie. I really enjoyed this interview; not only due to the fact that Jon talks about some really deep stuff about himself and his character, but also what he did in order to prepare for the role. This gentleman has my upmost respect! If you have not seen this movie, it's still streaming on Shudder, and I highly recommend watching it as soon as humanly possible.

What a huge honor to speak to one of my heroes from The Walking Dead! Irone is such a wonderful and talented actor! For once, I am speechless which is highly unusual for me. However, we did talk about his role in the first three seasons of the show, and I can tell just by his answers that he enjoyed the role very much. As much as I enjoyed the series, I was very heartbroken when the writers decided to kill off T-Dog because he was one of my favorite characters in the show and we all know how that impacted the fans and the franchise. T-Dog was a humble but yet stern character and all he wanted to do was protect the group – so he is definitely the hero of Seasons 1 through 3 in my opinion. Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 is an earnest picture; It brought depth to the mythos, and truly did nothing to trample on John Carpenter's original version. There's more character development which presents the opportunity to believe in the characters we care for. To bring more insight to the films, I had the honor and pleasure of speaking with Diane and what she shared is absolute priceless knowledge. The fact that she has been acting for a very long time, and being the daughter in law of Clu Gulager, makes her even more legendary. I love learning from the actors and actresses that I talk to; so much to hear about what happens on set and sharing the behind-the-scenes secrets. Me loving both films: The Feast Trilogy and Rob Zombie's Halloween II – we can learn a lot about someone. Diane has been there; she has raised the bar. No one can play the Biker Queen like Diane and certainly there are only a few that can be at the same level as her.

With remarkable special effects and a genuinely scary creature, the film effectively utilizes the found footage format to build suspense and create a sense of realism. The acting is generally considered solid, with the actors effectively conveying the terror and unease of the situation. Overall, pretty great movie which I think will augment the found-footage sub-genre of horror. However, this movie is not for the squeamish or light-hearted and may trigger some pretty intense emotions.

It's very hard to re-imagine the works of Stephen King, especially a movie that is loved by so many. When new adaptations are created, the fans of the original may get skeptical about how it's going to be. However, I must admit that I enjoyed this version of Salem's Lot, not only due to the fact that it originated from the Stephen King library, but the actors brought the past and the characters back to life. I sat down with Danielle Perry who portrayed Marjorie Glick in the film; a name that we will recognize in the Stephen King universe and amongst others. In my opinion, Marjorie is a pivotal character. Danielle Perry delivered us that role flawlessly and I mean it. We spoke about her character's transition into a vampire and what she had to do in order to prepare herself for her role. We also spoke about the infamous morgue scene – which happens to be one of the scariest sequences. I cannot imagine what was going through the other actors' minds at the time, but it has to be one of my favorite scenes. If you have not seen this film yet, I highly recommend and encourage you to do so. It's still streaming on Hulu and Max. And it's something you can definitely sink your fangs into.

She certainly had a lot to say about her character in the film, and I loved how she shared her personal experiences with me about the other actors. I do hope there is a sequel to this film and the casting director brings back Akeira to reprise her role of Loo because if you break a pinky swear, you pretty much break the golden rule. We talked about his death scene “Death by Lawnmower” even though his death was untimely and unfortunate. But he did go into detail with the technical setup and how it was rehearsed. What I find interesting about this movie is that it's a very different set of cast; it's not a group of friends in high school or college. It's about a family who is struggling to keep things together and it feels like there is a whole other level of anxiety and sadness brought to the film and not to mention the entire spectrum of emotions. The Final Destination Franchise has never disappointed… There is a never-ending supply of imagination and creativity. There's no masked killer with a knife, but instead it's Death playing his little game of “who is next” and it's a guessing game. This was a very fun and interactive interview! I absolutely loved talking to Brett about his role in the movie reprisal of “The Crazies” (2010). Even though it's a remake of George Romero's, I would honestly have to say the remake did it some justice. Brett is what we call a “Chameleon” actor; you put him in any role, he will deliver it! This can be backed up with his role as ‘Marcus' in “Fear the Walking Dead” and to make it more believable, his drive and determination is what makes him a very gifted actor. We talked about his notorious scenes in the movie: the scene where he burns down the house and the scene in the jail cell. I love how he provided his own insight about his character and what he did in order to prepare for – not just the scenes but for his character. Truly, he's an inspiration for any budding actor who wished to use the same drive and determination to get where you want to go. Overall, Brett is an awesome guy. I had a lot of fun speaking to him and this is one of the best interviews this year.

From what it was like not to audition for the role (in which she delivered flawlessly), getting to know the rest of the cast and crew, and what it was like on set, to finishing the film. I especially loved the part where she gives us some behind the scenes secrets and film locations; just to have that knowledge is also priceless. Here is why I love this franchise and this movie specifically: The permeating mysteries of the series go largely unexplained, partly due to the movies often giving clashing information about what is or isn't real. It has a Lovecraftian type feel where you truly cannot know what's going on. Is the story in Reggie's heads or Mikes' head? We also dived in about her movie, “Wineville” which happens to be her directorial debut! I am certain that the movie is going to make an impact in the horror community. It's most certainly a great achievement for any actress to direct her first film, especially when you are as talented as she is. We also kind of went off topic and spoke about her role in “Starsky and Hutch” acting alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson! She gave a little tidbit about a scene that was 100% improvised and the director kept that scene in the movie.Brande provides some resounding advice for those aspiring actors and actresses at the end of the interview, advice you might want to take her up on.You can catch Brande in the horror convention circuit but mostly in her most recent movie, “Wineville” which can be watch anywhere where movies are streamed. She describes it all from beginning to end and I now have a lot more respect for her because her death was one of the best moments in the film. Even though she is the very first kill, her scream will resonate throughout the horror community, and I firmly believe that she should star in other horror films. She is not short on talent, and she will deliver any role that you put her in, and I do hope that she gets an audition for another horror movie soon.

Getting the insight behind that is pure gold! I loved how she described how she prepared for it, how the scene was shot in one take (which is very rare), and how the atmosphere was still very chill afterwards. There is no question that she is indeed very talented and it's no wonder I'm a huge fan of her and her work. I also had a fanboy moment speaking about her role in one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows, “Altered Carbon” – she went into great detail about her scene in the show. We also spoke about fan theories in this movie; one she hasn't heard: Nicholas Cage's character, Longlegs being a former pop/rock star that sold his soul to the devil. Which may explain his high tone of voice and screaming. Though there may be a plethora of fan theories about this movie, you definitely won't miss the easter eggs and nods towards other horror movies. You will have to watch the movie to catch them. By far, this movie is one of the scariest movies I have watched because I have a thing for serial killers and true crime. The connections made in this movie are just uncanny. The cults and the dolls, the blaming the devil, etc. Longlegs is now streaming on Hulu and be sure to have the lights on when you watch it. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Talking to Georgia about the lead female role of Lara, I got to pick her brain and gain more insight about her character, the movie, and the story behind it. I mean, she delivered with an exceptional performance! If you get the opportunity to watch this movie, and I hope that you do, you may find it disturbing… Depending on how well you can handle that kind of performance. I found this movie to be very on point with the fine line between mental health instability and actual possession. I will leave that up to you to decide. However, Georgia believes that her character suffered from mental illness, and it was just simply that. If you're not into the religious aspects of the possessions, then maybe you want to keep looking for another movie to watch.Overall, magnificent performance from Georgia and the rest of the cast. The movie had me guessing and on the edge of my seat – that is what I exactly expect a horror movie to do, and this one is definitely going to wind up on my favorites list.

And the fact that Bennett delivered his role flawlessly would be an understatement. Everyone just might was well consider Bennett part of the Predator family – for what his character did for Naru in the movie is very honorable. And the fact that he didn't receive the recognition for his role kind burns my butt a little. Sitting down and talking to him, he had a lot to say, and I listened… I am still in awe from speaking to such a talented actor. He spoked about his character, the preparation for the best scenes, and some behind the scenes secrets for filming this epic movie. I hope that the writers bring back Raphael in a memory scene or something because I believe he deserves it. Essentially, Marie is a part of a vampire heavy metal band battling a warlock that is hellbent on world domination/destruction, I guess. That's what I am gathering from the trailer anyway – I could be 100% incorrect with that theory and being mislead by the Scott Hansen's ideas. She is also in the process of writing her own movie which is called “A Deadly Path” and it's a post-apocalyptic movie and I am already intrigued by the concept.
