In this episode of The Active Texan we sit down Chris Thompson (aka CT). CT has infinite stories to tell and is able to share a few from his time in training and during deployment. We also hear about his life before and after his service including his passion for enriching the lives of veterans. CT served most of his time in the Army as a Green Beret in 3rd Special Forces Group. After his time in the military, CT worked as a contractor, still deploying, in support of Special Operations for the next several years. Altogether, he conducted seven combat deployments and was decorated with the Bronze Star for Valor, two additional Bronze Stars, and has also been awarded the Congressional Veteran Commendation. CT is currently a part of an all Special Operations group of Cadre for an endurance event and gear/apparel company. CT also continues to serve in the veteran non-profit space and has his own business called Northgate Naturals where he makes soaps and hair products from high quality natural ingredients in College Station, TX.
