Coach Stan Jones shares his journey from growing up in Mississippi and walking onto the basketball team at Memphis [State] to becoming one of the most well respected assistant coaches in the country!He amassed an overall record of 353-91 including back-to-back state championships in 1993-94 and 1994-95. After his tremendous run as a high school coach he joined the college ranks at the University of Miami under Coach Leonard Hamilton and then moved onto the Washington Wizards coaching staff with Coach Hamilton.After the Washington Wizards parted ways with Coach Hamilton, Stan accepted an Assistant Coach position at Mississippi State under Coach Rick Stansbury. Chris Kreider is the Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach at Rice University where he is in his second stint at Rice and his sixth season working with Head Coach Rob Lanier, including the last two years as an assistant coach at SMU and three seasons at Georgia State.Kreider was selected to the Top Connect Basketball Symposium in 2022 and 2023, a networking and leadership event that includes athletics directors and some of the top assistant coaches in the country. He was also invited to the 2023 Jay Bilas Coaches Leadership Program, which is intended to help experienced Division I assistant coaches continue to refine their philosophy both on and off the court.Kreider's first stint at Rice was from 2017-19. Prior to that he worked in various roles at Virginia Military Institute, George Mason, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, USC Aiken, and the University of Great Falls. As a college player Kreider started as a small forward at three colleges, playing one year at Mansfield University before transferring to Grove City College (Pa.). In his junior season, Kreider led the Wolverines in scoring (12.3 ppg) and steals (52). Coach Roberts has had an amazing career coaching at the NCAA Division 1 level, working at Washington during the Huskies three straight 40 win seasons from 2015-2017, and Oregon when in 2014 the Ducks went 56-9-1 advancing the the WCWS semifinals! Prior to his time at Wisconsin Coach Roberts also made a stop at Virginia serving as the Associate Head Coach and Pitching Coach and helped the Cavaliers hit the 30-win mark for the first time in school history since 2010. Coach Roberts has built successful and talented pitching staffs at each of his stops along the way, and is already making an impact down in Madison! Joel Wallace is the Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach at LeTourneau University where he works under his brother James who is the YellowJackets Head Coach. Wallace was named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Small College Assistant Coach of the Year following the 2023-24 season. Previously, Wallace spent two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Minot State men's basketball program. Prior to Minot, Wallace spent two years at Ridgewater College as an assistant coach after beginning his coaching career as a student assistant at Southwest Minnesota State under head coach Brad Bigler. Tiffany Sardin is in her first season as the Women's Basketball Head Coach at Presbyterian College in . She was previously the Associate Head Coach at Saint Louis University where she helped the Billikens win the Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament Championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to her one season at Saint Louis, Sardin was the Head Coach at Chicago State where the 2021-22 team matched their total number of victories from the previous four years combined. As an assistant coach, she has spent time at Longwood, Boston University, Clemson, Illinois-Chicago, and Mount Olive.Sardin's stellar playing career at the University of Virginia spanned from 2002-2006, where she was a three time team captain.
