Valentine's Day has always been about lovers (and in some circles, it's about friends, too). But what if you're your own Valentine this year? Or what if you've been your own Valentine for years? Plenty of folks choose to be single. For others, a prolonged lack of romantic connection isn't done on purpose. Self-identified “late bloomers”—people who have not had sex or have not been in a relationship by the time they reach their 30s, 40s, and beyond—are finding a place to connect online. In this episode, we're talking with Becky, Megan, and Tiffany, members of a “late bloomer” group on Facebook who find themselves at different stages of life. Each of them is single—and not quite by choice. We're exploring what it means to find romance later in life (or not) and how to deepen your connection with yourself.HOST: Taylor Camille, Director of Podcasts at Well+Good GUESTS: Becky, Megan & TiffanyABOUT THIS PODCASTAt Well+Good HQ, we spend our days talking to and learning from the most interesting people in wellness—experts, thought-leaders and celebrities. On today's episode, Bea Dixon, the visionary founder behind plant-derived feminine care brand The Honey Pot, explains how we can reclaim our wellness by calling out the shifts necessary to help more people gain access to feeling good.Find out more about how we're celebrating Black History at Well+Good.
