This week I had the great pleasure of speaking with Nathan Hussey of the essential Indie Rock band ALL GET OUT. Nathan and I discuss the hardships and triumphs about being a musician in the today's sonic world. Nathan not only creates beautiful soulful tracks with ALL GET OUT but has made himself accessible to other musicians, by helping them create their own visions as a producer and engineer. Nathan grew up in a religious household where some things were off limits or forbidden, but he found himself through the discovery of music. Nathan's stories are not only intriguing but heart warming. Nathan and I run down his "weird" obsession with a Nu Metal Icon (you have to listen to understand or judge). We also touch on how a brilliant lyric can shape your thoughts and crush your soul. winterforever is a post-hardcore band from Boise, Idaho. What started as a small side project in 2018 quickly grew into something much bigger than it was ever supposed to be. The band has just released "inadvertently," the first single off their upcoming debut LP 'LÆVITAS', which is set for release on May 28. The single and album was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out. Of the new track, vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Corey Hugo says, “'inadvertently' was written about a toxic relationship that had hit a breaking point. It ended in a pretty explosive argument, but it made me realize the best thing I could do was move on and learn from the situation. Zac Brown Band's co-songwriter Wyatt Durrette and Mel Washington of All Get Out have put together a very special song called "Love Wins." The song stemmed from a conversation surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement and is all about leading with love in these crazy times.
