We have now been doing this podcast for 5 years, and we thought... what better way to celebrate than to bring Andrew McMahon back to the podcast to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Everything in Transit?! Steve Jones from Concert Pipeline and I partnered on this interview with Andrew while he was out on our with Jack's Mannequin! This episode was recorded back in June while on the first leg of the tour prior to Red Rocks. This interview is available on both the Concert Pipeline podcast feed as well as this one. We asked Andrew about how he got into the headspace to return to the Jack's era, his thoughts on Red Rocks (before it happened), his fan community, what's next for him in the near future, and much more! You may be surprised at some of his answers... We are so grateful for this opportunity. If he's your king you don't have a right to hold onto the darkness he's released you from. You're forgiven in Christ
Andrew shares with us that christianity is and should be all about Jesus. In our modern world it's so easy to get caught up in selfishness, only thinking about our ministry, our community, our blessings and our dreams. Following Jesus is all about SELFLESSNESS. If you are unhappy and unfruitful in your christianity, then you've made it about something other than Jesus.
Andrew shares that we have the ability to capture heavens attention. However that looks like something and it requires something.

With this week's guest Andrew McMahon in tow we head back to the Hanged Man where we see a beautiful lady beat the shit out of a bunch of gross men. Of COURSE we want to talk to her. She immediately decides we can help her by having her back on a duel. When we go to support her, we learn that her opponent plays dirty (shocking) and is waiting to hear news of her death in the Chantry. We fight our way through more raiders and discover that our new stabby friend has a lot more going on than we thought. Special thanks to Redd Spinks for our amazing logo as well as to Miracle of Sound for the song Age Of The Dragon, which we use as our theme music. There was so much to cover for The 14th Annual Dear Jack Benefit we had to make it into multiple episodes. In this episode we talk about all the events Dear Jack put together, the fan community, and the impact of those who have benefited from the programs offered. We break down the way we felt walking into those rooms, and how things derailed into a #jimfinity 30k tattoo. We wanted to thank all the amazing people we met over the weekend and cannot wait to connect more in the future! Shout out to all the people who won awards from Dear Jack this year, including our friend @am_chalk Lisa! We are so proud of you! For part 2 join us with our friends Jade and Amanda who came on stage with us to sing La La Lie with Andrew McMahon. Catch that episode next Thursday! We appreciate yall giving us more time to get these recaps together. We may be switching to Thursday permanently as New Years approaches for the SOCO shows. Follow us on insta for additional content.
