For his first episode as a full fledged member of the show Doug got to basically be yelled at by AreJay before his diarrhea set in and then just talk with Joe for the rest of the show as Will broke his comuter charger (i.e. Got yelled at by his wife for recording) Fun Times guys
I don't know anymore. Some random shit happened. Doug and Adam were here, AreJay wasn't. Reece's is pronounced like feces. Go Dolphins!!!
Eric Pabon joins the boys again and we are about to let AreJay have it. Well we are just going to disagree on the definition of punk and then discuss whether or not the Mandalorian is any good, hint... It's not. Oftentimes, it's those classic friendships that spark much-needed conversation. Tune in as Matt and Arejay cover adaptability, mentorship, and the importance of passion.
Jason Fuzzmonger joins the squad for some fun talk that doesn't involve Tiger King. No seriously it doesn't and I'm pretty depressed about it. An earthquake hits AreJay while we recorded though so there's that....
Steve Rowe joins AreJay and Joe to talk some Star Trek Picard
Wanna know what happens when the cameras stop rolling? For the first time ever we've created a special 'bonus' episode, because sometimes Johnny and his guests are having just too much fun. See what happens when you add Johnny + Halestorm + multiple bottles of wine...don't worry, you won't need any Advil for this HANGOVER!
This week Johnny sits down with Lzzy & Arejay Hale from Halestorm to talk touring, new music & more over some smooth French red wines. Cheers!
On this episode it's just Joe. Will and AreJay are too important for this podcast now and Joe must go it alone. Well not fully alone. You asked for it; you got it! Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm are sharing stories about the making of their new album “Vicious,” their best Spinal Tap moments (mostly involving Lzzy’s brother & band drummer Arejay), opening for DIO, and the stage mishaps that make for the most interesting memories! Lzzy’s also talking about advice she’s received from some of her musical heroes like Pat Benatar and Heart, what it’s like being a woman in an industry dominated by men, and why she’s immersed herself in learning Randy Rhoads guitar solos.
Bodhi had a chance to hang out with Arejay from Halestorm at The Rock Allegiance Festival, and he gave an update on their new album's progress and what it's like trying to satisfy all your friends & family when they all want free tickets for shows (among other things).
As soon as I had my foot in the door of the Halestorm tour van, the band's drummer Arejay was shaking my hand and calling me “Shades” (because I was wearing sunglasses). In fact, the entire group had an explosive energy (they later blamed on coffee), but one thing was clear, these guys want a career in music. Hard rockers Halestorm started out in 2005 touring a live EP and then in 2009 finally released their self-titled debut. These guys tour relentlessly and being a road veteran gives the band a confidence you don't see in a lot of new acts. At the centre of Halestorm are the Hale siblings, Lizzy (the frontwoman)and Arejay. They believe in keeping things in the family. Mom is the tour manager and Dad drives their bus. And at a Halestorm show, you will run into their mom in the audience selling Halestorm CDs. Apparently Arejay gets asked a lot how he feels about his sister singing about “getting off,” (Halestorm's signature song is “I Get Off”) and he HATES it. Listen to him go off about it in the our chat. Tracks played on the show... 1) Halestorm, Halestorm "Bet You Wish You Had Me Back" 2) Halestorm, Halestorm "I Get Off" 3) Halestorm, Halestorm "Familiar Taste of Poison" 4) Halestorm, Halestorm "It's Not You" NO songs CANCON
