We once again attended Otakon with our good friends from Weekly Shogakukan Edition, Sakaki and Jecka, and we've got a lOTA KONversation on this year's event, because boy was this Otakon eventful! This was THE most attended Otakon ever, and there was good reason for this to be such a big Otakon, because there were some big guests and features at the con this year! With guests including famous voice actors like Toshio Furukawa and Shino Kakinuma, production staff like the Studio Trigger team and Studio Orange's Yoshihiro Watanabe, great fan-run panels from our MangaTwitter peers, big industry panels from companies like Denpa and Discotek, and premiere showings of the dubs of Cyberpunk Edgerunner, Kaiji, and Gunbuster! 2:21 So you can actually generate leads, you can stand out, you can get more engagement, and you could start acquiring clients through the power of your voice. That's what I do. And that's what I did to grow my business. And so people are like, I had so many questions coming in. So I'm gonna lay out literally step by step, what I did, from the time that I left my gym, to going full time online in my business, and scaling it up to you know, our highest month was $80,000 in a single month in our business. So the massive problem I see in this is nine times out of 10. When a coach comes to me, this is what they're either saying consciously or subconsciously, I can just see it. And I know from experience, especially for the coaches that are trying to scale past that $20,000 per month range. This is true even if you're under 10k. But especially for those that are trying to get past that 20k cash collected, not like contracted, everybody likes to just put out vanity numbers, right? I'm talking about real cash in your bank that you can utilize to grow your business and to have more freedom and more impact, right? The biggest problem that I see, and this is my call it an opinion, I think this is a fact, right? It's getting too complex with their business growth strategies. Like raise your hand if you feel like you've fallen into that trap, where it's like, you feel like things are just too complex, like your business is too complex, right? 4:34 We want to always provide our clients with the best information, but it can become overwhelming. And then it doesn't all get implemented. We have all these open loops, and now we have complexity in our business. And what I've learned is simplicity is the key to success. And I'm sure you've heard this before, but do we actually follow it right? But like, I want to, like make this clear. Like I love to be part of masterminds, but mainly for networking. You've got to understand that one of the things and I'm going to lead into the steps here. This is kind of like a little rant I guess, but it's what truly took me from really struggling to get past that like 15 to 20k Mark to Being able to scale what I feel. I literally wrote, This is my journal. I feel like Ron Burgundy, like I wrote this in my leather bound book. But like, I've read it in my journal time and time again, where I literally would write down how effortless it felt to grow. And before it felt like I was freaking fighting an uphill battle to try to grow my business, like, has anybody felt that it's like, you know, that you have you know that you could change lives, you have this message, but it's like, how it's like, it feels that you're fighting an uphill battle to scale. Like, has anybody felt that, right? That's how I felt. And I literally remember writing in my journal, I have it right over here at my desk, and I read it almost every day, to keep myself in that mindset of how effortless it feels when you do what I'm about to say. Okay. And so, anyways, rant over rants over. 13:33 The first one is connecting with your audience, right, you have to be able to connect with your audience. You know, in the in demand coach program, we teach this in depth, like how to actually do that from a messaging standpoint, from a content plan, standpoint, all that stuff. The second thing you have to do is captivate your audience. Right, you have to captivate them. Right? That means you have to get their attention and keep it you know, and again, in the man coach program, this is pillar number two, where we're walking you through how to do storytelling and how to do better headlines and titles and all that stuff. And then the third thing is you have to convert your audience, right? And this is going to come under like how you're calling to actions, how you're getting people to raise their hands, how you're getting people to move forward. Some of it has to do with subconscious programming and influence and all that stuff. Right in that something that we teach. 14:23 So that's number three. Number four, we've got two more y'all two more I hope you're finding massive value if you're on the live stream and this has been super valuable like smash the heart button, let me know in the comments you say value I'd love to know if this is helpful. Number four is I built a client acquisition system so I can keep my sales predictable and consistent every month. This was how I was able to scale past that like 10 to $15,000 per month mark in our business. It's like before that there was no consistency, right? There's no predictability. Some months were like a matte, like a really cool like yes, we're doing an amazing 17k This month, and then like, the next month, it was like frickin 3k. And I was beating my head against the wall, I was like, Okay, we have to have some consistency here. “But you've got to understand that if you feel like you're chasing people, you've got to stop because people will continue to run. Because what gets chased happens, right? It runs whatever you're chasing. You want to attract people to you and I'm going to explain how to do that in a moment.” Keynotes Always pumping out new content in their masterminds every month, right every single month, and this is so they keep their students engaged. Communicate my message in a way that stands out. Started to speak at events, and this led to having a lot of conversations without chasing anybody. Got hyper focus on exactly what the cash collected goal was. To build real connections with people and to truly keep people more engaged and convert them is easier.

Welcome to episode #58 of Not Me, But You! I'm glad you are here listening. And I appreciate all of the downloads and subscribes. But I'm nobody special in terms of talent. You can do this too! Streaming has changed WHAT we watch, WHEN we watch and has offered us alternatives to traditional cable TV packages. Remember the "old school days?" We used to have to be at home, in front of the TV when shows aired live, or we missed out on watching them! Then VCR's came into the market place but you had to use bulky VHS cassette tapes to record your shows on! And you had to have the "technological savvy" to know HOW To program you VCR TO RECORD! Next came movies on shiny, silver, DVD's. And we saw COMBO units that could play/record both VHS cassette tapes and DVD's. But then Tivo started getting popular. Remember Tivo and how it featured the ability to both record and PAUSE LIVE TV. But all of these innovations were separate electronic components that had to connect to your TV. Next came "digital" DVR's that were cloud based systems of storage. These digital DVR services often came packaged with your cable TV subscription. And now we have STREAMING! You could use a separate small electronic box that connects to your TV like a Roku or Apple TV. Yet, with newer TV's these streaming capabilities are coming PRE LOADED onto the TV's. So we have come a long way in a short amount of time! But streaming has changed the way we live. Streaming is more convenient and it's PORTABLE! You can have access to your entire digital library of movies/TV shows WHEREVER you have an INTERNET CONNECTION!
