HEY WITCH HEY! We are so excited to debut our first Song-i-Sode of Season 2 and our last of 2023! This next installation of our SONG-i-SODE series is Session #6! Today we are talking about another one of our Practical Magic inspired original songs called "One Green Eye, One Blue"! This song comes off the heels of Episode 59: a character analysis we did for our favorite pancake flipping man of the law, Officer Gary Hallet, as well as Episode 60 which was dedicated to Gary's rare eye condition known as Heterochromia, hence the inspiration for today's song! This original song is Gary's admission to Sally that despite his refusal to believe in fate, there is in fact something mysteriously magical about her. The Stinas as they revisit their notes & lyrics and chat about how they wrote this Doo-wop style love song! We'll be dissecting our original work verse by verse, draft by draft, and take you on the creative journey of how we wrote the song from start to finish. We'll also explore original versions of the song, scratch demos, and lyrics that just didn't make the cut. Then sit back and relax as Justina treats us to a small live performance! From: Messenger of The Most High Channel Featuring Matthew Janzen of Ministers of the New Covenant WE BELIEVE IN Yahweh the Father, Almighty Maker of heaven and earth, and in Yeshua the Messiah His only begotten Son, our Master. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Miriam, lived a sinless life according to Torah, and preached the Good News of the Kingdom. He suffered and died as a substitute sacrifice for our sin, and was resurrected on the third day for our justification. Eternal life is this: knowing the Father and His Son, made possible by the gift of the Holy Spirit, a new heart and mind. After this gift, the believer is given the ability to follow Yahweh's holy law. Following this law is the inevitable fruit of regeneration and justification. Today was filled with technical glitches, gin-soaked women, and me accidentally stumbling into a replica of Buffalo Bill's lair. Only this one had a crying baby in a playpen, making it that much more fun. With all the excitement, I almost didn't get around to reading you "Blue Song" by Tennessee Williams. But look at me, I did it. And what a poem it is. I am tired too, Mr. Williams, Robyn
