25-åriga Stina hittas död, i hennes telefon finns mängder av meddelanden från pojkvännen. Två år senare ska han dömas för att ha uppmanat henne till självmord. De vittnar om ständiga bråk och misstro – och så någonting mer: uppmaningar från honom att hon ska ta sitt liv. Det här blir starten på en rättsprocess där pojkvännen till slut – i mars i år – döms, mot sitt nekande, för uppmaning till självmord. Vi hyllar mästerstickaren Märta-Stina Abrahamsdotter som fyller 200 år i år – men var så långt före sin tid att det kanske är först nu vi börjar förstå det.  Tillsammans med hemslöjdskonsulent Anna Zetterlund och tre av "Märta-Stina-flickorna": Inger Östman, Marianne Rödström och Caroline Göthman pratar vi om de djärva färger hon använde till sina egensinniga och vackra mönster. Vi funderar också över Märta-Stinas helt unika stickteknik, som hon antagligen utvecklat själv. På Västernorrlands museum kan du se några av de täcken och den kofta som finns bevarade efter Märta-Stina. Det var också där vi firade hennes 200-årsjubileum och spelande in avsnittet.
