That's given us so much. My name is Bruce Brown. I'm Josh Isringhausen, and we are your hosts we did it the same size. Though q. So for those who haven't been here in a while. Yes, Josh has joined the show. I'd recommend you go back to the last episode. And check that one out in which we kind of go into a full history on Joshua a little bit talk out talk out how him and I had met and kind of came together because of this awesome hobby of game together conventions. Some of the things that he likes go listen to that. But I'm sure a lot of that will come out in the show. So something we talked about in the last episode is that with bringing Josh onto the show. We're gonna be trying out some different formats and things. So we've actually got not one not two not three but four different segments for you today in trying something out. And so this should be pretty fun. But we're going to start out first by saying and talking about what things been going on, for us lately, in the hobbies that way, you can know and make informed decisions on knowing. Hey, how're they staying engaged in the hobby and so I'm gonna jump right in Josh if that's all right with you go for it. All right. So. So the most recent thing, I've been doing and actually what I'm gonna be spending all day on in two days playing so couple days before this recording went live is I built, the entire Daedalus productions Inc. Gloom haven insert so gloom haven for those you who are not familiar is an amazing game made by Isaac Childress who's with Steph air games. It was a Kickstarter super popular so popular, they put out another Kickstarter for it. Number one game on board game. Geek, it is essentially dungeons and dragons roleplaying games in, in a box. And so in the game you can play up to ninety four different scenarios,

It's the biggest ... well, certainly the heaviest ... game we've played yet! Gloomhaven from Cephalofair Games offers a meaty gameplay experience to go along with weighing some 20 pounds or nearly one and a half stones! This week I talk to Isaac Childres of Cephalofair Games. He is the creator of Gloomhaven and Forge War. Gloomhaven has been a runaway success raising 4 million dollars on kickstarter and included a number of really cool ideas and concepts. In very basic terms it is a dungeon crawler miniatures board game with character & world development making the whole world seem immersive and ever changing. It was a pleasure to be able to speak to Isaac and he came across as very modest guy, explaining all of his work in a matter of fact way, he doesnt seem one to toot his own horn about the stuff that he has done.
