[kc_row use_container="yes" _id="603398"][kc_column width="12/12" video_mute="no" _id="516484"][kc_column_text _id="126224"]For Mother's Day, Pastor Dawn told the story of Jochebed, mother to Miriam, Aaron and Moses, and how she showed great trust in God's faithfulness as she raised her family to fulfill their godly destiny in a time when the ruler of Egypt was set to bring destruction to God's people. Pharoah had a plan, but God had put generational inheritance on the inside of Jochebed, as she tapped into the Presence of God to give her wisdom to secure the future. Jochebed had a relationship with God that enabled her to gain the wisdom she needed as He ordered her steps to preserve the life of her child, the one who would someday bring deliverance to their nation. God has a good plan for you and your children, and He has everything already in place to secure the future He has mapped out for you and your children. God honors honoring God! As you put your trust in Him, You will receive miracles of timing and supernatural preservation! [/kc_column_text][/kc_column][/kc_row]

For Mother's Day, we got to talk to two sisters who are also mothers who also taught with Joseph. The Michalski Sisters (Bethany Tribbett and Deborah Rife) share their experiences as teachers and mothers: how they got started (2:50), what it was like teaching while pregnant (15:00), their decisions not to return to full-time teaching (23:15), and whether or not they might return (31:35). Then Deborah and Bethany share stories about a funny dress-up day and an inappropriate comment (35:55) before Joe tries to answer a Geography question.
For Mother's Day, I am dropping one of my favorite interviews to date with a fisherman, rancher, horseman & former spy, Bayard Fox. Bayard sat down to share stories of his life a week after his 94th birthday with me, and they are all indicative of "a life well lived," as the subtitle of his book states. Bayard was 93 when he published his memoir, title Rancher, Fisherman, Horseman, Spy (see link to buy it and read it yourself below!).Before reading Bayard's book, I knew that we were kindred spirits, but this conversation was an absolute joy, like taking a ride down the trail with an old friend! We touch upon the moment he left his job working for the government to eventually pursue a career owning a guest ranch in Wyoming, and the unexpected injury that detoured him to the Solomon islands. Bayard's ability to see and embrace opportunity at ever turn will leave you inspired in whatever chapter you are in in life. His life lessons on how to stay alive, and live well may help you see where you might do this in your own life, too.Throughout this episode, you'll learn about the adventures and challenges that Bayard faced. Whether you're an outdoors enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys hearing about life's adventures, this podcast is not to be missed. If you'd like to follow up withe Bayard in person, click on the link below to book a trip to their dude ranch. I worked there briefly in my twenties and it is one of the most spectacular pieces of property I have ever seen, and has the very best horse program in the country that I have seen thus far.
