This week at Lifetree, we reflected on Palm Sunday and Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. So many people were not sure what was going on, and the one question everyone was asking was "Who is this?!!" The crowd had an incomplete understanding of who Jesus truly was. They knew what they had heard about Him, but most did not know Him personally. So, the pressing question is do you have a complete understanding of Jesus?

• Dai Manuel sees AI as the future of coaching • “The world's most robust health AI coach” (Total Recorded Time is 19:43) What do you do after you've run a successful major retailer? How about being a life coach? Dai Manuel, author of the book “Whole Life Fitness Manifesto,” (Life Tree, 2016), says he began his quest for physical and financial fitness as a teenager. And now he's making a new turn: helping pair artificial intelligence with lifestyle improvements. Dai Manuel reveals his remarkable story in this edition of Bizgnus Interviews. His business experience includes a nine-year stint as chief operating officer of and partner in Fitness Town Inc., a chair of fitness centers in British Columbia. He's now working with a startup planning to develop an app that uses artificial intelligence. “What we're trying to create is the world's most robust health AI coach,” he says. “Anybody anywhere as long as they've got the internet can have a health coach.” For more information: https://www.daimanuel.com/
This week at Lifetree, we had the privilege of hearing the transformative stories from some of the men at Adult & Teen Challenge New Jersey, an organization that helps individuals struggling with addiction find recovery and walk in freedom and God's purpose for their lives. If you would like to learn more about this life-changing program, you can visit their website at https://tcnewjersey.org/
There's so much to the story of Jesus's death and resurrection, and yesterday we focused on just one part - specifically on what the people were shouting while Jesus was on the Cross: “You saved others but You can't even save Yourself.” They just left out one word. Let's fix it for them: “You CHOSE to save others, but You CHOSE not to even save Yourself.”Jesus made a choice. He did not have to do this. He chose to. The choice of the cross was so brutal and senseless that the only possible reason was love. The message of Easter is both profound and simple: JESUS LOVES YOU.
This week at Lifetree, Pastor Otto Wegner shared about the importance of prayer. He encouraged us to always be quick to listen and slow to speak and reminded us of Psalm 46:10 which says “Be still, and know that I am God."
This is Kelly Orchard's Apple a Day. Sixty seconds on wisdom, success, and personal growth. We're focusing on 30 days of growth with gratitude and Thanksgiving. Let's imagine that moments in our lives are like leaves on a tree, our Life Tree. Then that one bad moment that you had today, does it have to destroy your entire life tree? What about 10 bad moments? 20 bad moments? 50 bad moments? Whatever is happening, if it's negative, its only one moment on your tree. Maybe it'll be a hundred moments, but think about the entire span of your life – and all those leaves that grow on the tree. If you consider that moments are just leaves on your tree of life, then you can consider that, “okay, there is always going to be a bad moment here and there, but in the bigger scheme of things, the bigger picture, each moment is just one leaf on this massive tree that you are continually growing. And, you know, just like when the fall comes, and the winter comes, those leaves fall off. So those moments, those bad moments, can be forgotten if you let them. So, consider the moments in your life as leaves that grow on your tree of life. And be thankful for the leaves, the moments, they are fleeting. This is been Kelly Orchard's Apple a day… Now go out and be fruitful. Kelly Orchard's Apple A Day is also available in print. Click here for more!

What would happen if there was no church? What's at stake if there was no Lifetree? Would it matter? During this week's message, Pastor Dan talked about the four actions a church takes to make a difference in our community and how when we see the difference this church continues to make, we'll have deep joy in knowing we have been part of it.
God has not called us to have a nice little community church where we gather and read the Bible and talk about how to live good lives. God has called us to gather in worship so that living water can flow out of us and produce life for everyone anywhere near us. Our vision is not a single Lifetree, but a forest of Lifetrees on every side of the river! Join us in this new series as we talk more about what The Forest means for us!

This week at Lifetree, we examined another threat to our faith and how we can guard against it or rebuild if it's already done its damage - our past. The weight of our past can shipwreck our faith, but the failures and brokenness of our past are the very things God redeems and uses to show love to a world drowning in guilt and fear. Your past does not rob you of the future He has for you.

The Book of Life will be opened and if our names are on it will enter heaven and paradise in the after life. Whoever's name isn't on the book of life will be casted out and suffer in the lake of fire/hell. We have to put in work for God and do His will until the end. Let's keep the faith and fight the good fight. We shall endure and be saved at the end. Let's repent, get baptized, read the Bible, follow the Bible, and reach out to lost souls and bring people to the kingdom of heaven! Selah ! Peace ! Shalom !
Series: Revelation: The Best is Yet to ComeTitle: “Reverse the Curse: What is the New Eden?”Scripture: Revelation 22:1-9(Commentary helps listed at the end)Need: Believe that God's word is “trustworthy and true” enough to follow fully and faithfully.Bottom line: We reverse the curse in our own lives when we believe the word of God in word and action.INTRODUCTIONOpening story: Curse of the BambinoThe Curse of the Bambino was a superstitious sports curse in Major League Baseball(MLB) derived from the 86-year championship drought of the Boston Red Sox from 1918 to 2004. The superstition was named after Babe Ruth, colloquially known as "The Bambino", who played for the Red Sox until he was sold to the New York Yankees in 1920.[1] While some fans took the curse seriously, most used the expression in a tongue-in-cheekmanner.[2]Babe Ruth as a member of the 1918 Boston Red Sox, the final season before the drought.External imagesPicture of the graffitied "reverse curve" road signRemoval of the sign (then re-graffitied to read "reversed the curse") by a crew including Governor Mitt Romney, following Boston's 2004 World Series victory.Prior to the drought, the Red Sox had been one of the most successful professional baseball franchises. They won five of the first fifteen World Series titles, including the first in 1903, more than any other MLB team at the time.[3]During this period, Ruth was a core contributor to the Red Sox's three championships in 1915, 1916, and 1918. Following the sale of Ruth, however, the once lackluster Yankees became one of the most dominant professional sports franchises in North America and set the record for World Series titles by more than twice the amount of any other MLB team.[4] The curse became a focal point of the Yankees–Red Sox rivalry over the years.Talk of the curse as an ongoing phenomenon ended when the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series.[5] The Red Sox's championship was prefaced by them overcoming a 0–3 deficit against the Yankees in the American League Championship Series (ALCS), the first and, to date, only time an MLB team won a best-of-seven playoff series after losing the first three games. The curse had been such a part of Boston culture that when a "reverse curve" road sign on Longfellow Bridgeover the city's busy Storrow Drive was graffitied to read "Reverse The Curse,"[6] officials left it in place until the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series. After the World Series that year, the road sign was edited to read "Reversed Curse" in celebration.[6]Read Genesis 3:1-19; Revelation 22:1-9CONTEXTWe have seen:Jesus and his churches (1-3)The throne and judgments of God (6-16)The whore, the King, and his bride (17-22)It's also noteworthy that these last 2 chapters of Revelation and of the Bible occur when sin has been abolished from the universe. Here's another impossible task - compiling a mix of the best film scores of the decade. Like any of my other year-end mixes, this is not really a "Best" mix. It's a collection of scores that I listened to a lot and fit within my ambient aesthetic. The tracks are laid out chronologically from when the films were released. Starting with Monsters in 2010 to Ex Machina in 2015 and finishing up with American Woman in 2019 There are scores from four TV series included in this mix - Halt and Catch Fire, Mr. Robot, Stranger Things, and The Knick. They are some of my favorite soundtracks and definitely worth checking out. There's not much else to say about this mix, it's pretty straight forward. I'm sure I missed a bunch of very good film scores but I think this mix holds together as a cohesive set. I hope you enjoy it! Cheers!
