The Miami Hurricanes have flipped 4-star ATH Collins Acheampong from his verbal commitment to Michigan. Collins plays to arrive to Coral Gables in January as an early enrollee. He's 6'7 255 lbs and will play edge rusher at The U. Miami never gave up on recruiting him after his initial commitment to Michigan back in July. The Canes beat the Rambling Wreck 35-14 in the first collegiate start for true freshman quarterback Jacurri Brown. Brown was poised and dangerous. He rushed for 87 yards, with 77 yards coming after contact. He threw for 136 yards with 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. The top overall performer was safety Kam Kinchens.
