Melissa and Ellie are back in full tinfoil-hat mode because these chapters were not subtle. Wolves through time? Erased bloodlines? Black adamant mind walls? Sarah, respectfully… what are we doing? In this episode, we dive into HOSAB 36–42 and ask the unhinged but necessary question: are the First Wolves actually connected to ACOTAR? We're talking Danika's secret research, forbidden wolf history, Alpha drama, Princes of Hel being dramatic as usual, and why everything suddenly feels like multiverse math. Is this a brilliant long game… or have we connected too many dots? Either way — CRACK THEORY TIME. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Natuurlik is hierdie tipe gesprekke soms ongemaklik. . . Die veelkleurige skepping beweeg my… En of ek dalk ongemerk eerder seker maak my motordeur is gesluit in die verkeer… Die Bybel sê ek moet lief wees vir my bure – so ek gaan veg vir my buurt. Natuurlik is hierdie tipe gesprekke soms ongemaklik. So hier is jou uitnodiging: kom gesels saam. Spasies gekies waar mense anders lyk as ek. Ek voel baie minder skuldig. Kāpēc mēs to darām? Man pirmo reizi likās – kāpēc man kaut kur jāiet? Viens no zīmīgiem notikumiem būs Amandas Ziemeles jauno darbu personālizstāde atjaunotajā Raiņa kvartālā, savukārt koncertzāles Cēsis galerijā atgriezīsimies pagātnē pirms divdesmit gadiem: tur tiks eksponēts mākslinieku grupas "F5" jeb "Famous Five" zīmīgais veikums. Mums būs drusku nostaļģijas piegarša, jo divdesmit gadi kādam kultūras notikumam – tam vienmēr nāk līdzi zināma nostalģijas garša, jo mēs atceramies, kādi paši bijām pirms tiem divdesmit gadiem... Tas bija varens laiks!
Heja Elisabeth.Din röst bär fler än du vet.https://www.expressen.se/nyheter/sverige/elisabeth-stammer-s-pekades--ut-som-medial-risk/https://whydonate.com/sv/fundraising/mediumforbundet-stodjer-elisabeth-diskriminerad-pga-trosuppfattningwww.innerstadrommar.seinfo@innerstadrommar.seMedverkande i avsnitten: Elisabeth Ellidotter, Maria Dupal, Katri Kingstedt, Anders Ahlin, Sofie Langeborg och Heléne Carlind Hosted on Acast.

The new emperor of the Central African Republic is introduced to the world in a totally surreal manner - with white horses from Belgium, finery from France and songs from a Broadway musical. The CAR's finances continue to tumble. A controversial policy about school uniforms leads to one of the most tragic episodes in the country's history. And as the emperor loses control, old friends become foes, old foes return from the dead, and Bokassa's day of judgement is at hand… A Noiser podcast production. Narrated by Paul McGann. We're back and things officially go off the rails. In chapters 81–90 of Crescent City, Bryce does the unthinkable (yes, the vacuum scene), Hel literally opens across the city, and the biggest revelation of the entire book finally drops. We break down Bryce vs. Micah, the gates, the synth twist, Hunt at full power, and that jaw-dropping Starborn reveal—plus plenty of tangents, theories, pop culture chaos, and emotional damage along the way. The former soldier in the French army who seized power in his African homeland. The leader of the Central African Republic who proclaimed himself emperor. The emperor who ruled as an avaricious dictator. Jean-Bédel Bokassa's time in power in the CAR began with promises of equality and justice. Hailed as a beacon of strength, he would go on to preside over a regime of eccentricity, excess and sadistic cruelty. But decades before the surreal coronation, the 17 wives and the vast collection of luxurious possessions, our story begins in a much humbler setting. In a forested village near the CAR's southern border, rebellion is in the air… A Noiser podcast production. Narrated by Paul McGann. Featuring Louisa Lombard, Richard Moncrieff, Gino Vlavonou. KRAMPUS & YULEIn central European folklore, Krampus is a Christmas devil who visits on the eve of St Nicholas Day, to punish naughty children. He's also known to drag an unfortunate few back to hell with him in a basket carried upon his back. Some children are merely whipped with birch tree branches known as switches whilst others serve as supper to St Nicholas' rather unconventional companion. The name Krampus may have evolved from the German word Krampen which means claw and this half goat, half human, demon monster is thought to have been part of the Pagan rituals performed around the Winter Solstice, with legend saying that Krampus is the son of Hel, the Norse god of the underworld. Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations and with Norseman being hunters, who spent much of their time outdoors, they worshipped the Sun and saw it as a wheel that changed the seasons. The word for this wheel was Houl and it is from this word that Yule is thought to have derived from. At midwinter, the Norsemen would sacrifice cattle, gather around bonfires, drink sweet ale and tell stories as the long nights would again, begin to shorten.Resources:IntroductionYuleStory 1 Story 2Minehead HobbyhorseThe Devil's FootprintsThanks so much for listening and we'll catch up with you again next week for some more true, scary stories.Sarah and Tobie xxJoin us on InstagramJoin us on TwitterJoin us on FacebookVisit our WebsiteSURVEY Hosted on Acast.

We're back in Lunathion with so many theories, besties. In this episode we're breaking down Crescent City chapters 51–60: Bryce summoning Aidas (and that absolutely unhinged “let's fight a demon with a demon” logic), the planet contraption in the Autumn King's office and how it mirrors Rhys' in ACOSF, the mystery of Hel as its own planet, and what “find what is in between” could actually mean. We deep dive the synth drug + obsidian salt, Danika's secret crusade, Bryce's scar and grief, Hunt's most broken moment (shower scene!!), AND we spiral about Kelpies, nøkk folklore, Wicked parallels, Hadestown, and… shower temperatures. Stick around for our unhinged multiverse brain rot and let us know your theories in the comments. And if you want the after party and extra chaos, join us over on Patreon for bonus Crescent City content!
