On today's episode, Evan Sidery is joined by Stampede Blue's Stephen Reed to recap the first day of 2021 NFL free agency. Not surprisingly, the Colts stayed quiet. However, the movement outside of Indy was robust. First up, a former Colt is now off the open market. Denico Autry signed a 3-year, $21.5 million deal with division rival Tennessee. How will Autry signing with the Titans impact Indianapolis? Is Tyquan Lewis about to break out in Year 4 in Autry's role next to DeForest Buckner? New England was the big spender on Monday. The Patriots were spending all of their salary cap space on Jonnu Smith, Matthew Judon, and Nelson Agholor. Will New England make a push in the AFC after these moves, or will they be the latest team to disappoint after splurging in free agency? EDGE rushers are all gone for Indianapolis. All of the top names are already gone after the first 24 hours: Shaquille Barrett, Carl Lawson, Yannick Ngakoue, Bud Dupree, and Romeo Okwara are signing elsewhere. Indy is now positioned to bargain shop once more, or they could be targeting pass rush at No. 21 overall next month. Closing out the show, we go over how the market is looking at left tackle, wide receiver, cornerback, and tight end. Will the Colts make a move at one of these positions very soon? It’s Free Agent Friday and today we get into the best bargain free agents available to the Chargers and also talk about the team’s interest in Travis Etienne.  The Chargers have some money to spend but will have to find some value options in free agency. On the offensive side we focus on the line looking at some mid-tier options that would still provide significant upgrades.  On the defensive side of things there are many options for the bolts and we take a look at whether guys like Tyus Bowser or Romeo Okwara could make sense for the Bolts.  On Thursday a report came out that the Chargers were having Clemson running back Travis Etienne to return some punts for them. We break down the Chargers showing interest in a top back in the draft and why the should have bigger priorities. Built Bar Built Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. On today's episode, Evan and Stampede Blue's Stephen Reed go over their favorite fits for the Indianapolis Colts in free agency. Who makes the cut? Not surprisingly, a couple of frequent names make an appearance, but also notice the trend. Pass rush and adding weapons for new quarterback Carson Wentz. Before we dive into all of this, though, we quickly go over more veteran cuts around the NFL. Who makes sense for Indy? After signing Xavier Rhodes and Justin Houston as former cuts, keep an eye on Indy doing this again for a third straight year. Evan believes stealing one or maybe two offensive weapons from division rival Tennessee makes so much sense. Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis are names to watch out for once the legal tampering period officially opens. Curtis Samuel is another underrated option if Indy decides to let T.Y. Hilton walk in free agency. Pass rush is crucial for Indy to take the next step in 2021. Who makes sense for them to pursue? Watch out Romeo Okwara and Carl Lawson, two of our favorite fits in the whole 2021 free agency class. All of this, plus so much more, in a jam-packed free agency preview episode! On today's episode, George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin joins Evan to go over the franchise tag deadline in the NFL. With the Colts not using the tag, which hasn't been placed since Pat McAfee in the Ryan Grigson era, what else happened around the league? Surprisingly, it broke just right for Indy in terms of the pass rusher market. Names such as Shaq Barrett, Bud Dupree, Carl Lawson, and Romeo Okwara will all hit free agency next week. Kicking things off, though, Evan and George dissect how Chris Godwin and Allen Robinson being franchise tagged could impact T.Y. Hilton's future in Indy. Now, with Hilton being a top-five WR on the market, have his chances of returning dwindled? Then, we move over to the cornerback market. Shaquill Griffin headlines the corners not being tagged, so will this impact Xavier Rhodes? Evan and George go over a scenario where the draft could be where Rhodes' replacement could be found. The market for pass rushers is historically robust. What does this mean for Indy? Names like Barrett, Dupree, Lawson, or Okwara have a chance to become Colts very soon. How aggressive will GM Chris Ballard be at this position? Closing out the show, George provides his predictions for free agency. What will Indy pull off? Learn more about your ad choices. Romeo Okwara currently is a Defensive End for the NFL’s Detroit Lions. Prior to this, he played college football at Notre Dame and signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Born June 17, 1995, Romeo stands 6’4” and weighs 275 pounds. But as we’ll discuss in this episode, when it comes to Okwara, there’s more than meets the eye. He moved to the United States from Nigeria with his family in 2005, and he played organized football for the first time a year later, but his lack of experience resulted in him being cut from the team. During his childhood, Romeo’s parents stressed the importance of education to him and his siblings so much so that during the recruiting process he would not entertain interest from colleges whose academic reputations did not meet his standards. And the one thing he rarely leaves home without is his camera. Off the field, he indulges his creative side and enjoys traveling the world.

Draftvice- Looking Forward! 2020 - Denver Broncos & Detroit Lions - With Ricky SinnigIt's 2020 folks, and while the playoffs are underway and the conference championships are this weekend- some teams need to get a head start on the 2020 season. We bring Ricky Sinning as he joins Walter (@Brojodeathpunch) to dicuss the future offseason of the Denver Broncos and the Detroit Lions. We break down the cap situation of each team, potential free agents, some players who can be cap casualties and their draft selections in 2020.#2020Offseason #NFL #NFLHeadcoaches #NFLFreeAgency #NFLDraft #Broncos #DenverBroncos #BroncosFootball #DetroitLions #DetroitFootball #DetroitLionsFans #LionsFootball #LionsNation #DetroitLionsNation #NFLUpdates #BroncosFans #2020NFLDraft #DetroitLions2020 #DenverBroncos2020 #NFLNews #NFLPlayers #NFLTeams #FreeAgency #LionsFreeAgents #CapSpacehttps://youtu.be/D_QcqdZj2BAFollow the podcast on twitter: @draftviceon Instagram: @draftvice_footballhttps://www.facebook.com/Draftvice/Walter (instagram/snapchat/twitter): @BrojodeathpunchWebsite: www.draftvice.comNow that the coaching carousel has come to a close- we break down what assets the Broncos and Lions have.Broncos finally have some money to spend with $60,367,518 (spotrac) to $61,947,764 (overthecap) in free cap. They can clear up some more cap with some of the following cuts- Joe Flacco clears 10 million (13 million dead cap) and Jeff Heuerman which clears 3.8. They can also not pick up Ronald Leary'sTeam option. 2020 Option year must be exercised 5 days after 2019 thru 2020 league year. This would lead to8 Million savings and there is only 1.5 million guaranteed if opt. exercised.Broncos also ave some potential players leaving in free agency- including Chris Harris, DT Derek Wolf, Shelby Harris DT, Justin Simmons S and Connor McGovern center. Odds are the aging star corner Harris walks, while they tag super safety Simmons. Maybe the Broncos resign one Defensive Tackle but probably not both. Resiging McGovern would give the Broncos consistency at O-line- if not they'd be onto their third center in 3 years (Matt Paradis left last year for carolina). Top potential free agent we see them going after- Dallas Cowboys Byron Jones- fits Vic Vangio's scheme.Broncos can use a new left tackle (Bolles ain't cutting it) as well as some offensive weaponry for Drew Lock. Maybe a wide receiver like Henry Ruggs or a Running back like Deandre Swift. They also may want to load up at corner. One thing is clear the Broncos look like they are potentially alot more put together then some thought at the beginning of the year. They have some offensive staff changes with Scangarello being discharged and the hiring of Pat Shurmur as Offensive Coordinator (Shula as QBs coach). 2020 looks good for the Broncos- too bad they can't change divisions. The Detroit Lions and Matt Patricia have about $43,209,388 (spotrac) to $48,748,295 (over the cap) in cap space. That's not alot by most standards. The good news is- alot of their woes last year were due to injuries (and some deficiencies on defense) and alot of their top contributors are already locked up for 2020. The top 2 free agents leaving are Danny Amendola, Guard Graham Glasgow and Mike McDaniels. I can see them resigning Glasgow and Danny cut on a dime for a small deal. Biggest ourside free agent we see them signing- New England's Kyle Van Noy.They can cut some guys (but again most have been helpful to an extent. Biggest contracts that you can clear are contributors. Biggest contract -Darius Slay and Ricky Wagner. Can get 20 million in relief if they cut Damon Harrison (snacks) (5 million dead cap- 6.7 savings), Marvin Jones - $2.6 mill dead cap (6.5 mill savings), Devon Kinard - 1.7 dead, 5.4 mill savings and Romeo Okwara.I don't see any big free agency moves- instead the draft is gonna be big for the lions- with a top 3 pick- Lions have a shot at a BLUE CHIP PLAYER or they can trade back and accumulate assets. Maybe a Jeffrey Okudah? Derrick Brown? or swiss army knife Isaiah Simmons. Or do they replace the Matt Stafford and get a QB?Either way- there's been high turnover on that coaching staff (over 10 asistants)- this might be att Patricia's last chance!
