SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOWThe headlines this week aren't unraveling — they're exploding. When chaos becomes strategy and spin becomes survival, what happens to the line between absurd and dangerous? How damaged is the Department of Justice after this latest ruling? What does Trump's mystery “health update” really mean? And can he finally get rid of Rosie O'Donnell? Is the Epstein list actually going to see daylight, or is it all smoke and mirrors? This episode pulls it all into focus — with sharp edges, deadpan wit, and the kind of take you didn't know you needed. No spoilers, but let's just say this one hits fast and hits weird. And let me ask you something — how nice are your toes? Because apparently, a lot of people think theirs are worth cash. Kicking things off, Jack Dorsey—a man with too much time on his hands—has vibe-coded his beard into an insecure messaging app that the company admits you shouldn't trust... yet. Meanwhile, if you want a piece of a legendary disaster, the Fyre Festival brand sold for a mere $245k after some shady bidding that might be a "shitty agentic AI" at work.In the world of our future robot overlords, Nvidia's CEO calmly admitted "some harm will be done," while billionaires like Travis Kalanick are busy discovering "vibe physics" with Elon Musk's Grok—an AI that literally checks what its dad thinks before answering. But the real insanity? The internet is demanding an apology from Elmo's hacked account, proving we're mad at the puppet, not the puppeteer. On the more tangible front, Tesla is making desperate moves in Canada and India as sales collapse, while we learn that hackers have been able to stop US trains for over a decade remotely, but no one has bothered to fix the issue. Oh, and laid-off Candy Crush staff? They were forced to train their AI replacements on the way out the door. The future is bright.Over in Media Candy, we're grudgingly impressed by Andor's 14 Emmy nods and the genius faux '90s action movie trailer for Karl Urban's Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat II. We also got trailers for Stranger Things 5 and Tron: Ares, where Jared Leto thankfully only speaks two words. Finally, Dave takes us to the Dark Side for a nostalgia trip through the history of the Apple II and the Kaypro 2000 laptop, sparking a debate on why we all coveted a computer that, in retrospect, wasn't that great. This is contrasted with the modern reality of an IPTV pirate getting three years in prison and Metallica issuing a copyright strike against the Pentagon. To wrap it all up, a TEDx talk poses the ultimate question: Has tech delivered on its promises? We're still thinking about that one.Sponsors:DeleteMe - Head over to JoinDeleteMe.com/GOG and use the code "GOG" for 20% off.Private Internet Access - Go to GOG.Show/vpn and sign up today. Symon Quick joins us for an in-depth chat about the club's new sales process and what it means for Sheffield Wednesday. In another lively episode of The Chad and Cheese Podcast, hosts Joel Cheesman, Chad Sowash, and J.T. O'Donnell blend humor with industry insights. The show tackles a grim industry shake-up: CareerBuilder and Monster's job board business is being sold to JobGet amid Chapter 11 bankruptcy. JobGet's gobbling distressed assets like Snagajob, but Chad questions the strategy, as these “misfit toys” boost revenue without growth. Unsecured creditors, like Jobverse ($2.7M) and TextKernel ($2.2M), are owed $25.5M and may see little, while Apollo's insulated. J.T. urges job boards to innovate or perish. Dice's layoffs (100+ in sales and engineering) reflect a revenue plunge (Q4 2024 down 14%, Q1 2025 down 18%). Chad blames Dice's failure to evolve, stuck in an innovator's dilemma like Monster. Automation shines (kinda): Tesla's Austin robotaxi launch ($4.20/ride) had hiccups, while Walmart's robots unload trucks at 580 boxes/hour, easing grueling jobs. Yet, displaced workers face risks, and new remote roles could fuel infinite workday burnout. A YouTuber's In-N-Out lawsuit underscores brand risks, emphasizing HR's need to adapt with quality-focused, streamlined talent management in a turbulent market.
FOX Sports Radio Weekend host Martin Weiss is in for Rob, and he and Kelvin discuss how the Boston Celtics fire sale (trading away both Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis in less than 24 hours) could shake up the Eastern Conference as a whole, share their thoughts on the narrative that only a star player changing teams can shift the balance of power in the NBA, and tell us why it was refreshing to hear that Tyrese Haliburton still has no regrets about playing through a calf issue in the NBA Finals that eventually led to an unfortunate Achilles tear. Plus, former NFL offensive lineman and FOX Sports Radio Weekend host Ephraim Salaam swings by to discuss the Celtics fire sale, Aaron Rodgers’ plan to retire at the end of the upcoming NFL season, and much more!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
On this episode, Mike and Jason discuss the recent NBA Finals, focusing on the Indiana Pacers' unexpected run and the impact of Tyrese Halliburton's injury. They analyze the Oklahoma City Thunder's championship victory and what it means for their legacy. The conversation shifts to recent trades, including Kevin Durant's move to the Houston Rockets and the Celtics' fire sale. The hosts also touch on the Wizards' trade and the implications of the Lakers' ownership change. It's September of 1096, and Duke Robert was setting out on Crusade, intent on taking the main pilgrim road to Rome and Norman Italy. There are some in Congress who think we should have a fire sale on public lands. Places across national forests and the Bureau of Land Management that politicians think should be offered for sale, either to try to adopt President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill that would continue to offer the biggest tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans and corporations or simply because they don't believe there should be public lands. This legislation, sponsored by U.S. Senator Mike Lee of Utah, could be the most devastating public lands measure to come before Congress. If passed, it could dramatically reshape the West. While Interior Secretary Doug Burgum says many of the lands that could be affected are often "barren land next to highways with existing billboards that have no recreational value," many others disagree. There's a hew and cry across the West, that many of these lands are used by hunters and anglers, by birders and backpackers, four-wheelers and by weekend campers. To get into the weeds of this legislation our guest this week is Mike Carroll, director of the BLM program for The Wilderness Society.

It's time for a Dumpster Fire Sale What do you do when the economy feels like it's swirling down the drain? What should we do when our sales targets are floating right behind it? In this episode, we tackle the brutal realities of selling in a recession so messy, it's practically hosting its own dumpster fire sale. We question why both gold and dollar futures are nosediving, why your clients are grumpier than ever, and — more importantly — how you can survive (and even thrive) by sharpening your value proposition, tiering your pricing, finding smarter markets, and building real relationships instead of clinging to desperate transactions. It's been a long time since the last episode so it's time to restart with some wit, seriousness, and thoughts that might just save your sales pipeline from spontaneous combustion. Geoengineered terrorist activity is a blank check for a domino effect – collapsing one ecosystem after another until the solution is full spectrum dominance over the planet. We have been warning that the promotion of weather modification technologies would be a gateway into global governance schemes which are a stepping stone towards a singular and centralized governing body, managing individual nations. Somehow, we all need to shed light on criminal ecosystem disruption brought on by globalists who wish to build back better for their Fourth Industrial Revolution. Why are most people apathetic, allowing this travesty to continue?
