November 13, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon home win against the Green Bay Packers. We start by going over the Week Ten inactive list and then recap the two Saturday practice squad elevations that the Steelers made. The Steelers had a significant injury on Sunday as ILB Kwon Alexander has now been lost for the season due to an Achilles injury. We recap that injury and go over the options the Steelers have when it comes to the inside linebacker position on the heels of the team losing Alexander and Cole Holcomb for the season in back-to-back weeks. As usual, Alex and I get deep into recapping the Steelers Sunday game. We start on the offensive side of the football and discuss the running game and the major success the Steelers had in that phase against the Packers. "Bleav in Steelers" host Mark Bergin shares his thoughts from the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-16 win against the Tennessee Titans. Steelers linebacker Kwon Alexander's interception of Titans quarterback Will Levis clinched the game for Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin is now 24-5 when going against rookie quarterbacks. Bergin shares why thinks Broderick Jones needs to start for the remainder of the season. Jones got the start at right tackle over Chuks Okorafor. The Steelers had a season-high 166 rushing yards on Thursday night. Both Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris played well. Both Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb and Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks were carted off with injuries. Kenny Pickett struggled at times, but he led the Steelers to a touchdown on their opening drive of the game and late in Thursday's game for the go-ahead touchdown to Diontae Johnson. Bergin also attributed some of the Steelers' offensive struggles on Pickett, who missed throws. Matt Canada called Thursday's game from the sideline instead of the booth. Also, T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith played well again off the edge. August 4, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 4 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. July 31, 2023 - Season 14, Episode 2 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers wrapping up their first four days of 2023 training camp practices and how the team has a bust schedule starting on Tuesday that includes them putting the pads on for the first time. We start this show off by going over the heath of the team with four training camp practices now in the books and Monday being an off day. We also go over the roster moves made since the Friday episode and make sure to address the running back the team is reportedly bringing in Monday for a tryout. The signing of veteran inside linebacker Kwon Alexander is one of the recent transactions made by the Steelers so Alex and I discuss his fit with the team and possible place on the depth chart. We go over potential playing time in the defense for alexander and the impact his addition may have on second year inside linebacker Mark Robinson. With Alex being at training camp for the first four days, we go over several of main takeaways from the practices. We discuss offensive line rotation on Sunday, safety Kenny Robinson making plays, and how rookie outside linebacker Nick Herbig is doing early on at Saint Vincent College. Alex has been tracking some stats through the first four days of training camp, so he gives an overview of those late in this show. We end this show by going over a few questions from our listeners.
