ROMA (ITALPRESS) - Con la prima BMW M3 CS Touring, il marchio dell'elica blu aggiunge un nuovo modello in edizione speciale alla sua gamma di auto sportive ad alte prestazioni. Basata sulla BMW M3 Competition Touring con M xDrive, è spinta da un motore a sei cilindri da 3 litri in linea da 550 cavalli e una messa a punto su misura del telaio, elementi di design esclusivi e una significativa riduzione del peso ottenuta grazie alla fibra di carbonio. Il motore eroga una coppia massima di 650 Nm. Il cambio M Steptronic a otto rapporti e il sistema di trazione integrale M xDrive permettono alla M3 CS Touring di accelerare da 0 a 100 in 3 secondi e mezzo. La velocità massima è limitata elettronicamente a 300 km/h. L'impianto di scarico M, dotato di flap a controllo elettrico e un silenziatore posteriore in titanio, ha due coppie di terminali verniciati in nero opaco con due modalità: Sport o Sport+Quattro i colori disponibili: British Racing Green, Laguna Seca Blue, Frozen Solid White e Sapphire Black metallizzato. Il tetto e lo spoiler specifico del modello sono rifiniti in nero lucido. Un profilo rosso, poi, incornicia lo spoiler sul tetto.Gli interni sono quelli di un'auto sportiva. I sedili M Carbon, regolabili elettricamente e riscaldati, sono di serie per il guidatore e il passeggero anteriore. Questi sedili sono dotati di poggiatesta integrati, badge modello “CS” illuminato e rivestimenti in pelle Merino. Il designNero/Rosso è ripreso anche nei sedili posteriori, mentre i pannelli delle portiere sono rivestiti in pelle nera. Il volante M in Alcantara ha un design a tre razze. Ulteriori dettagli specifici M includono il badge rosso “CS” sulla console centrale, le cinture di sicurezza M e le soglie delle portiere con la scritta del modello. Il pulsante M Setup, situato sulla console centrale, consente un accesso diretto alle impostazioni di motore, telaio, sterzo, freni e trazione. È possibile memorizzare due configurazioni personalizzate, insieme alle preferenze per il sound del motore, il DSC, la funzione Automatic Start/Stop e le caratteristiche di cambiata del cambio. Probamos el BMW XM que es el primer BMW M eléctrico y que anticipa un montón de novedades en esta línea de la marca. Y es que BMW M en 2022 ha vendido 177.257 unidades vendidas en el mundo y 1.303 sólo en España. Además donde más crece es en EEUU, Gran Bretaña y Alemania. La electrificación va a ir llegando paulatinamente a BMW M con vehículos PHEV y cien por cien eléctricos. Una de las novedades es que sobre las base de un BMW M4 están haciendo pruebas para tener un eléctrico puro con cuatro motores. En 2024 llegarán a Le Mans 25 años después de la victoria de la marca con el V12 LMR con el BMW M Hybrid V8. El BMW XM es el primer M después del M1 que no tiene un equivalente en BMW es puramente un coche M Se fabrica en la planta más grande de BMW en el mundo que está en EEUU en Spartanburg. Un coche muy enfocado a EEUU, China y Oriente Medio. El diseño no deja indiferente a nadie. Empezando por unos brutales riñones retroiluminados con diferentes acabados en dorado, negro… Las ópticas son las más estrechas que nunca han fabricado y un capó muy nervado y agresivo. Las llantas van desde las 21 a las 23 pulgadas. Los escapes son con salida vertical. El interior va todo orientado al conductor con el curve display de más de 20 pulgadas. El interior va tapizado con un cuero vintage y un techo con formas hexagonales en tres dimensiones. Llama la atención que en la consola central está lleno de botones para poder configurar un montón de características. Además tiene dos botones en el volante M1 y M2 El nuevo BMW XM tiene una potencia total de 653 cv y 800 Nm de par gracias a un propulsor de combustión con configuración V8 de 4.4 litros de cubicaje y que incorpora además un motor eléctrico de 197 cv. La transmisión está encomendada a una caja de cambios Steptronic de 8 marchas. La energía de la parte eléctrica la soluciona con una batería es de 25,7 KWh de capacidad. Los dos motores tienen un apoyo de sonido desarrollando por Hans Zimmer. Los modos de conducción van asociados al modo M Hybrid según las necesidades de autonomía que tengamos para el modo eléctrico. La tracción es permanente a las cuatro ruedas denominada M xDrive. El sistema de frenado está sobredimensionado para parar sus 2600 kg El primer M con dirección activa integral porque las ruedas traseras giran. Llevan la suspensión adaptativa profesional con gestión electrónica de los amortiguadores. Ya hemos conducido el nuevo BMW X1 2023. Un nuevo modelo que llega con mecánicas diésel, gasolina, PHEV y un cien por cien eléctrico. Este modelo se fabrica en Regensburg en Alemania en una mítica factoría de donde salió el BMW E30. Una factoría con 9000 empleados, 53 nacionalidades, con 8 millones de coches producidos desde 1986 y que es capaz de fabricar una unidad cada 57 segundos. Las generaciones del BMW X1 son: 2009-2015 Primera generación 2025-2022 Segunda generación y se han venido 2,7M de unidades casi 90.000 en España. 2022- Tercera generación que a la combustión incluye el iX1 eléctrico. Tiene la aerodinámica mejor del segmento con un Cx de 0,26 y es también la mejor de un BMW X. Lo consigue con una parrilla activa, manillas enrasadas, piezas exclusivas para ello… En este coche se ahorran hasta 35 kilos con diferentes aleaciones de materiales como el acero o la aleación de aluminio. Lleva una gran recuperación adaptativa de energía que utiliza el navegador para anticipar las acciones de motor según las condiciones de la carretera. Circulando a vela o regenerando si vamos a llegar, por ejemplo, a una rotonda. Los modos de conducción del BMW X1 son ahora: Personal, Sport, Efficient. Lleva la suspensión adaptativa opcional que rebaja la altura en 15mm con una dirección deportiva. Se coloca en la transmisión. La caja de cambios de serie de todos los BMW X1 2023 es una Steptronic de doble embrague y 7 velocidades. Sólo cambia que puede llevar levas o no. Si pone en el gatillo del cambio D/L no lleva levas y tiene una mayor retención del cambio Si pone en el gatillo del cambio D/S lleva levas y es la caja deportiva de siempre. En la leva derecha pone boost que nos da 10 segundos de máxima deportividad y máxima respuesta. El motor diésel y en el gasolina tiene un 90 por ciento de piezas nuevas. Motorización cien por cien eléctrica BMW iX1: · BMW iX1 xDrive30 313cv 494 Nm autonomía desde 414 km El modelo ha crecido en muchos aspectos. Ahora parece mucho más grande aunque las medidas dicen que no lo ha hecho tanto. Por detalles como los riñones más grandes, el capó elevado… Dimensiones BMW X1 2023: · Altura: 1.642 mm · Anchura: 1.845 mm · Longitud: 4.500 mm · Batalla: 2.692 mm Las líneas de diseño son muy horizontales para darle una imagen de mayor anchura. Mientras que la luna trasera es más estilizada. Las luces traseras son full-LED con forma tridimensional. Además el parachoques trasero le da una imagen mas robusta. Ha crecido como tres dedos de largo, dos de ancho y uno de alto. Y con un coeficiente aerodinámico excepcional de 0.26. Es 21 cm más corto que un BMW X3 pero visualmente parecen más. El salpicadero tiene la mitad de botones que antes y un maletero de 540 litros en las versiones de combustión. El diseño está enfocado a buscar una mayor habitabilidad. Dos acabos; Xline más enfocado al campó con aluminio… y el acabado MSport que tiene más piezas en el color del vehículo. Y luego se puede completar todo con paquetes opcionales y opciones individuales. Además incorpora las mejoras del BMW ConnectedDrive que son opcionales por suscripción. El navegador incorpora realidad aumentada, dispone de head up display, techo de cristal panorámico, bandeja para carga inalámbrica… El equipamiento de serie es muy superior al modelo precedente. Sistema de entrada es Acceso Confort 2.0 con luces de bienvenida, apertura sin llave, acceso desde el smartpone con hasta cinco personas que lo puedes compartir. Ya lleva el nuevo sistema operativo BMW 8 con marcación por voz incluso con expresiones coloquiales. Sistemas de asistencia a la conducción con función automatizada de la conducción adecuando la velocidad a las señales. Además lleva park assist tanto convencional como para remolque. The second generation of the BMW X5 with electrified drive combines a model-specific in-line 6-cylinder petrol engine featuring BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology with the very latest BMW eDrive technology. With an electrically powered range of 67 to 87 kilometres in the new WLTP test cycle. The combustion engine and electric motor deliver their power to an 8-speed Steptronic transmission of the latest generation and the intelligent all-wheel drive system BMW xDrive. Spy photographers for our sister site, MotorAuthority, recently caught a plug-in hybrid version of the RAV4 out testing on public roads overseas. The company has long been a laggard in the movement to sell plug-in vehicles. The only plug-in model it currently sells in the U.S. is the Prius Prime with 25 miles of electric range." according to Green Car Reports: "If the plug-in hybrid uses the same 8.8-kilowatt-hour battery as the Prius Prime, it would likely get far short of the Prius Prime's 25-mile electric range. Although there might be more packaging potential for fitting a larger battery under the floor of the tall crossover. In the most recent example of their dedication to security, a Bug Bounty find from April this year is now being patched via an over-the-air (OTA) update in 2019.32. The security flaw enabled would-be car thieves to clone a fob in less than two seconds, after which the vehicle could be driven off. Tesla subsequently offered a multi-part fix: PIN to Drive, a software update, and a new fob." Says Teslarati.   “We’ve begun to release an over-the-air software update (part of 2019.32) that addresses this researcher’s findings and allows certain Model S owners to update their key fobs inside their car in less than two minutes. The first 50 cabs, all manufactured in the UK were delivered earlier in August, with the remaining 75 entering service in the next few months. Introduced in 2010 as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, the Nissan LEAF has led the way in making the excitement and convenience of electric driving accessible to non-luxury buyers. Less than a decade ago, electric cars were seen as a niche product, and LEAF customers were mostly “early adopters.”   “AN ELECTRIC PORSCHE DRIVES JUST AS SPORTY AS ANY OTHER PORSCHE” Electromobility is the dominant theme of the Geneva Motor Show. At the Volkswagen Group Night, Porsche presented the Panamera Sport Turismo with hybrid drive and charging station for example.  Simon Vogt (E-Services - Sales & Operations) said: “Anyone who buys an electric or hybrid model from Porsche is offered a seamless and reliable charging experience and does not have to worry about charging. Everything is prepared. As soon as the customer wants it, the navigation system reliably guides them to a suitable charging station. There he simply inserts the plug and charges the desired range. Thanks to Plug and Charge, tiresome authentication processes are a thing of the past. Payment is also made automatically via the Porsche Charging Service. Put simply: car and charging station recognize each other as soon as the charging plug is inserted. The electricity price is also fixed, so that the amount due is simply debited from the customer's personal account. In principle, all drivers of hybrid and electric vehicles can charge via the Porsche Charging Service." And on the subject of performance he says: "With optimum drive technology and the right vehicle concept, the Porsche characteristics can be exploited even further through its electric models. For example, the center of gravity of the Taycan is lower than that of the 911, thanks to the underbody battery. Therefore, an electric Porsche is at least as sporty as a combustion engine."   $35,000 TESLA MODEL 3 LEADING TO PRICE CUTS ON CHEVY BOLT "Regardless of our previous reports that high demand is pushing up the price of the Hyundai Kona Electric at some dealerships, it appears Chevrolet dealers are taking the $35,000 Tesla Model 3 seriously and adjusting prices according."writes Steven Loveday for InsideEVs.com: "The Chevrolet Bolt is seeing discounts as high as $7,000. One of our avid readers from the state of Oregon has been tracking 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV pricing at local dealerships." Reports Simon for Teslarati: " May mentioned several of the vehicle’s merits in his review, such as its power, technology, and its quiet, comfortable ride. The former Top Gear host even acknowledged the vehicle as America’s next-generation muscle car. “The Tesla Model S P100D is the greatest muscle car America has ever produced — which means, it’s the greatest muscle car the world has ever produced,” May commented. May did mention that the vehicle is unique in the way that Tesla is unique, even if some of the cars’ basic characteristics such as its panels have not reached the level of refinement as entries from veteran automakers. Pointing out some of the P100D’s quirky features that are based on Elon Musk’s sense of humor such as Fart Mode, May notes that there is simply no other car like the Model S on the road today, and from an automaker that is unlike anyone else in the industry."   https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-model-s-p100d-james-may-review/   BOB LUTZ SAYS TESLA SHOULD AND SHOULDN'T HAVE RETAILS STORES Mark Kane at InsideEVs reports: “Bob Lutz, former GM Chairman, was interviewed a few days ago by CNBC about Tesla and he doesn’t believe that Tesla will be able to shift sales entirely online, by the way of the introduction of $35,000 Model 3 Standard battery option.” Bob Lutz said: “I always said it was totally ridiculous to own your own dealership, you own the real estate, you own the people, you own the new car inventory, you own the used car inventory – a massive misallocation of company capital. So now they’re getting out of that, they’re gonna close stores, they’re going to try to do all the sales online. I don’t see how that’s gonna work. Who’s gonna take the trade-in, who’s gonna take the used cars, who’s gonna provide service with no stores there.”   https://insideevs.com/bob-lutz-skeptical-tesla-online-sales-video/   MITSUBISHI ENGELBERG TOURER MAKES GLOBAL PREMIERE AT 2019 GENEVA MOTOR SHOW Named after the famous ski resort in central region of Switzerland, best known for its panoramic views, well-groomed runs and challenging off-piste skiing and snowboarding, the Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer is a Twin Motor, 4WD, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) which delivers high levels of performance in the most challenging weather conditions and on all road surfaces. It combines this with the long cruising range inherent to the PHEV, allowing journeys out of town and to places with no charging infrastructure.  The Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer has an EV cruising range of over 43 miles/70 km (WLTP cycle) and with a fully charged battery and full fuel tank it has a total cruising range of over 434 miles/700 km (WLTP).   NIO SCRAPS FACTORY PLANS, ANNOUNCES $1.4 BILLION NET LOSS, STOCK FALLS "Chinese EV startup Nio has announced that it won’t be building its own manufacturing plant in Shanghai after all." Reports Phil at Electrek: "Nio released its Q4 and full 2018 financial results on Tuesday, and the company said the agreements it reached in 2017 to build its own manufacturing plant in Jia Ding, Shanghai have been terminated. Nio will continue to use its existing plant with state-owned JAC Motors to build its cars. The company says the agreement will “give it capacity and flexibility to support its market penetration and growth plans for the next two to three years.” The company reported $720 million in revenue for 2018, but it also posted a $1.4 billion net loss, nearly doubling its losses from the previous year."   https://electrek.co/2019/03/06/nio-scraps-factory-plans-announces-1-4-billion-net-loss-stock-falls/   BMW X3 XDRIVE30E HEADLINES A NEW AND OVERHAULED PHEV RANGE BMW is touting its new and improved range of plug-in hybrids at the Geneva Motor Show. At the volume end, the BMW X3 xDrive30e goes into production in December this year and puts a plug-in port on BMW's most popular crossover. It pairs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gas engine with an electric motor and eight-speed Steptronic transmission. Combined output comes to 252 horsepower, which can be temporarily upped to 293 hp with a press of the XtraBoost button.” reports Autoblog: “The lithium-ion battery under the rear seat maintains the luggage volume of the conventional X3. The 6.5-second dash to 62 miles and hour puts it about 0.4 seconds behind the regular, 248-hp four-pot X3.” Reports Autoblog: “Next come upgraded, second-gen versions of the electrified 2, 3, 5, X5, and 7 Series ranges. The 330e runs up to 37 miles on electric power, a 50 percent improvement over the first-gen — but BMW didn't clarify how the 3 Series gained the extra range. As with the X3 PHEV, the 330e harnesses a combined system output of 252 hp and a temporary 41-hp squirt using XtraBoost. The batteries in the 225xe Active Tourer and 530e sedan grow in capacity without growing in size. The 225xe cell is now 9.7 kWh instead of 7.7, extending all-electric range to 29 miles. The 530e battery is rated at 12 kWh, while only taking up the same space as the previous 9-kWh battery. That improves electric range to up to 35 miles. Mercedes promises this concept is going to spawn an extremely similar production vehicle. The specs on the concept are promising, too." Reports Autoblog: "The EQV Concept will travel 249 miles on a full charge from its 100 kWh battery pack. It's capable of charging up to 25 percent in just 15 minutes, providing 62 miles of driving. This van won't be a speed demon by any measure, as the single electric motor pushes a modest 201 horsepower to the front wheels. Il cofano motore slanciato, l’abitacolo arretrato ed il classico doppio rene anteriore è da vera BMW così come il suo look che ripropone in dimensioni più compatte tutto il carattere e lo stile delle sorelle più grandi. La nuova Serie 1 si conferma quindi una vettura sportiva ed efficiente che anche nel comportamento stradale si dimostra all’altezza del pedegree di famiglia. Il comfort di bordo raggiunge livelli inarrivabili per la precedente generazione. Nuovi motori all’insegna dell’EfficientDynamics BMW con Start Stop di serie si dimostrano più potenti e risparmiosi grazie anche alla tecnologia BMW TwinPower Turbo. A richiesta è possibile optare per quella trasmissione a otto marce con Steptronic tanto apprezzata sulle BMW più grandi e costose. La nuova Serie 1 è disponibile nelle versioni benzina 116i 1.6 da 136 CV e 118i 1.6 da 170 CV e nelle varianti a gasolio 116d 2.0 da 116 CV, 118d 2.0 da 143 CV e 120d sempre 2.0 da 184 CV. In rampa di lancio anche una superefficiente 116d da 116 CV con consumi ulteriormente ridotti a 3,8 litri/100 km ed emissioni di CO2 abbattute a 99 g/km. Due parole sullla nuova funzione EcoPRO Mode che ottimizza i consumi agendo sulla mappatura del motore, del pedale dell’acceleratore e del cambio automatico, indicando il momento migliore di cambiata. Con il ConnectedDrive che offre sistemi di assistenza alla guida da ammiraglia e possibilità di personalizzazione pressochè infinite, la nuova Serie 1 permette di entrare nel mondo BMW dalla porta principale senza alcuna rinuncia in termini di piacere di guida e dotazioni tecnologiche.

BMW X5 Undici anni di onorata carriera e oltre 1 milione di esemplari prodotti nello stabilimento di Spartanburg, Sud Carolina, culla della gamma X di BMW. Stiamo parlando della X5, antesignana degli Sports Activity Vehicle creati dalla Casa bavarese. Le principali novità della nuova X5 si trovano sotto il cofano dove le quattro motorizzazioni disponibili sono state completamente riviste e soddisfano le normative Euro5. Abbiamo i benzina xDrive 35i 6 cilindri in linea da 306 CV e xDrive 50i V8 da 407 CV e i turbodiesel xDrive 6 cilindri 30d da 245 CV e xDrive 40d da 306 CV. Grazie all’adozione delle tecnologie EfficientDynamics (tra cui costruzione leggera intelligente, recupero dell’energia in frenata e alette di raffreddamento attive), alle accresciute prestazioni i rinnovati motori della X5 abbinano un consistente calo dei consumi e delle emissioni di CO2 (la riduzione nelle versioni a gasolio arriva al 10% rispetto alla serie precedente). La gamma motoristica (escludendo la M con cambio Sport Automatic a sei rapporti con Steptronic) monta di serie una inedita trasmissione automatica ad otto marce con Steptronic targata ZF. L’originale è ancor più originale è lo slogan coniato da BMW per il lancio del rinnovato SAV e le modifiche estetiche sono in linea con il family feeling della Casa. Il look è più sportiveggiante con minigonna anteriore e lo spoiler posteriore che si ispira alla forma della sezione anteriore, mentre negli interni lussuosi c’è la possibilità di una terza fila di sedili per offrire comodo spazio a sette persone. La trazione integrale intelligente xDrive ha una nuova taratura per supportare al meglio il conducente in una guida dinamica. La X5 si avvale inoltre di nuovi sistemi di assistenza alla guida, tra i quali regolazione attiva della velocità con funzione Stop&Go, Lane Departure Warning, Speed Limit Info, Side View e telecamera di retromarcia con Top View.
