What would be your first move if you were the Los Angeles Chargers general manager? Daniel and David discuss why extending Justin Herbert and getting him an explosive receiver would be at the top of their list of moves. Even with receivers like Keenan Allen and Mike Williams the Chargers offense needs more speed, and defensively, adding physicality and toughness is a must. Los Angeles does have some players coming back from injury this season, but is Allen or Joey Bosa more important? It may also be time for the Chargers to start letting some defensive reserves get on the field like JT Woods and Troy Reeder.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!LinkedInLinkedIn Jobs helps you find the candidates you want to talk to, faster. The Los Angeles Chargers dipped back into the free agent pool signing another former Brandon Staley player, defensive lineman Morgan Fox. The defensive line room is now incredibly deep and Jerry Tillery now has to compete to win a starting job. Fox joins Khalil Mack, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Troy Reeder, and Bryce Callahan as former Brandon Staley pupils. Fox is going to come in and immediately compete with Tillery for snaps as the primary interior pass rusher. As the bolts keep adding pieces to their roster, it gets harder and harder to locate the deficiencies but linebacker and safety are two position groups that aren't as strong as others.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. The Los Angeles Chargers added to their linebacker signing former Ram and Brandon Staley pupil Troy Reeder after letting Kyzir White walk. Another linebacker is in the mix, but how strong is the unit headlined by Kenneth Murray and Drue Tranquill? Reeder brings a familiarity and some ability on special teams, but seems brought in to provide depth. Former 1st round pick Murray recently went under the knife to fix a nagging ankle injury. Could this move be an insurance policy for Murray? What does the rest of the Chargers linebacker room look like? Will Drue Tranquill improve his play? A lot of injury concerns and inexperience in this unit for the bolts.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. Today's guest is Troy Reeder who is currently a linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams. He is a Delaware kid who had dreams to play professionally growing up. He played football at Penn State before transferring back to his roots at the University of Delaware. Playing alongside his brother and where his dad played college football. The quest to be where he is today was not an easy one, he had to work hard every day and make a lot of challenging sacrifices. But in the long run, they have all paid off, but what will Troy do after the NFL? There will be a day/time that he will no longer be able to play, will he go into coaching? Become a financial analyst? Whatever it may be, tune in for many great insights! Took a lot of hard work and sacrifice to get to a point to play in the NFL, but he did it.
