Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley spoke to the media at the NFL owners meetings and he had some interesting comments on star quarterback Justin Herbert, Safety Derwin James, and other moves the bolts made in free agency. Tight end Gerald Everett was a player who coach Staley said can attack the seam and pose as a serious yards after catch threat in their offense. He was asked about back up running back, to which he said the organization scoured the free agent market but found the options to be underwhelming. The plan is to try to address that in the draft.
