In episode 6 we talk about procrastination in our work, why we think we procrastinate, and some tips that have helped us over the years improve. What resources have been helping us grow recently? Zack Kravits with Ramblin' Radio Podcast. Learn about business as a creative. Listen to Golden Hour Podcast by PolarPro. Learn from successful filmmaking talk about well...filmmaking
This week on The Iron Skillet Podcast we have Zack Kravits who is a filmmaker, photographer and a full time creative coach. Zack has made it his mission to show creatives how to build a successful and sustainable business that allows them the freedom to live the life they want. Zack got started in the filmmaking industry shooting his own fitness VLOGS in hopes of becoming a fitness influencer. As his skills as a videographer started to improve and he started producing higher quality content he began getting hired by other fitness influencers to shoot their VLOGS and branded content. This eventually led to shooting weddings, content for brands and working with some high level lifestyle entrepreneurs. Zack was able to leave his job as a personal trainer and build a full time freelancing business as a content creator. This was great but after a while the countless hours, cross country flights and late night editing sessions started to add up. Zack realized if he wanted to become more financially successful he had to start thinking outside of the box and find a way to increase his revenue without it being directly related to giving more of his time. This is when the creators blueprint was formed. Zack created an online coaching course where he would take limited numbers of students 2-3 times a year and teach them how to take their side hustle and turn it into a extremely successful business. It has become Zack's mission to empower other's who are stuck in situations like he was unhappy with their current job to go all in on their passion as a filmmaker and make it their full time job. In this episode we talk about how focusing on one thing and going all in instead of hopping from idea to idea can lead to the life you've been dreaming of a lot more quickly than you think. How pain can be our biggest motivator in life to push us into situations that force us to change, overcome adversity and reach new levels. As well as how to build your business in a way that allows you the freedom to buy back your time, continue to grow and elevate your vision instead of getting stuck in the hamster wheel of client work. This episode is pack with so much value Zack did an amazing job sharing his story and he gave a lot of tips and advice along the way. Zack Kravits is a filmmaker, photographer, creative coach & host of Ramblin’ Radio Podcast. This Episode we talk about how there are no rules in podcasting, avoiding the lone wolf mindset to scale a business, building a team allows us to spend our time on bigger ideas, why offering to buy coffee for someone isn’t the best “in”, why we need to break the rules, living life like Michael Jordan, communication is the key to a relationship with a significant other, working on stillness / being present, pushing to thrive during Covid, creating opportunities for yourself, why we need to keep solving problems & challenging the listeners not to put too much pressure on themselves. In this episode, I talk with cinematographer Zack Kravits. Zack and I met last month in Austin Texas. After digging into some of his work, I was blown away by his video quality. Zack is creating some of the best videos in the YouTube fitness space right now. In the social media era we live in, learning how to create better content is huge and it's just going to get more important! The future "resumé" is going to be directly tied to your social footprint. We talked a lot about how you can make higher quality videos without investing a ton of money into fancy equipment. Everyone starts somewhere. Don't expect the first time you try something to be great at it. At the heart of this episode, we dig into how being honest with yourself combined with following your true passion can lead to something great. If you already know how talented this guest is then please click on over and leave EverForward Radio a 5-star rating and review! It really doesn't get much better than this week's guest when it comes to applying a vision to filming. I am speaking of course of cinematographer (yes, he is a YouTuber but I feel to label him just as that would be to significantly diminish his craft) Zack Kravits. I have been following Zack online for a few months now and I honestly get hooked on every piece of content he creates. He. Is. Just. That. Good. In this interview I discuss just why he is so damn skilled (though he claims he doesn't know), what it takes to have an idea of something in your head and bring it to life on film. He creates short films, mini-series, vlogs, camera and equipment how-to's and so much more. When I say keep an eye on this guy for the future Best Picture, I mean it. Do yourself a favor after you finish this episode and check out his YouTube channel and see for yourself! He can also be found here on his recently revamped Instagram page.
