¿Te pierdes entre tantos tipos de estabilizadores para vídeo? ¿No sabes por qué un gimbal puede costar 100€ y otro, aparénteme igual, cuesta 6 veces más? Muchas dudas que surgen entre fotógrafos y fotógrafas, ya que cada vez se demanda más vídeo dentro de nuestro sector. Por eso te traemos este podcast donde repasamos los diferentes tipos de estabilizadores para vídeo que hay en el mercado. Pero como ya sabes, antes me toca explicarte que está sucediendo en nuestra academia online, y es que esta semana sigue publicándose el curso de catalogación en Lightroom, para quien quiera tener su archivo fotográfico perfecto y aprovecharse de las ventajas que brinda esto o mejorar su flujo de trabajo. Y si te interesa el vídeo también tienes el curso de Filmmaking. La democratización de los estabilizadores para vídeo Los estabilizadores, hace unos pocos años, eran un objeto de lujo. Al menos, los gimbals motorizados, se escapaban del presupuesto de la gente que se dedicaba a la fotografía y realizaba vídeo de manera puntual. Pero el avance tecnológico hizo que esto cambiase y ahora podemos encontrar estabilizadores para cámaras reflex o sin espejo para todos los bolsillos. Esto también ha traído un contra. Y es que antes ofrecer producciones de vídeo con planos en movimiento super estables era una diferenciación. En cambio como ahora esta al alcance de todos los bolsillos esto ya no es una ventaja diferenciadora, ya no destacas por usarlos. Tanto es el punto que incluso las agencias de stock piden a sus contribuidores que también realicen vídeo en trípode, cámara en mano, y similares. Pero más allá de este detalle que hay que tener en cuenta, vamos con la guía de estabilizadores para vídeos: Estabilizadores mecánicos Son difíciles de estabilizar y se tarda mucho tiempo en hacer todo el trabajo previo.Desde la llegada de los gimbals motorizados sus precios han caído y están tirados de precio. Estabilizadores para móviles Son los estabilizadores más económicos. Un buen móvil (gama media o alta) junto con uno de estos gimbals “baratos” son un combo muy bueno para conseguir grandes planos.Cuidado con los estabilizadores más baratos que pueden estabilizar tan solo en 2 ejes. Estabilizadores para cámaras compactas y cámaras de acción También son estabilizadores baratos que te permiten estar horas trabajando sin cansarte debido al poco peso de las cámaras y gimbalsNo siempre hay que ir a por lo más "profesional" y pesado. Todo depende de la producción y de las necesidades del cliente. Estabilizadores para sin espejo y para cámaras y objetivos grandes Aquí entraríamos en el terreno de mayor calidad. Y donde los precios varían muchísimo.Aunque el precio depende, principalmente, del peso que soporten estos estabilizadores (de la suma cámara + objetivo).El precio también sube si quieres controlar la cámara desde el mango del gymbal.Otro factor que determina el precio es si quieres controlar el enfoque desde el propio mando del estabilizador.Y el último factor que aumenta el precio es si tienen sets de movimientos pre grabados. Estabilizadores cámaras de vídeo Los más caros sin duda, pero este precio elevado no es porque hagan una mejor estabilización. Es porque soportan mucho peso, por lo que podrás trabajar con cualquier tipo de cámara de vídeo profesional o de cine.Solo recomendables superproducciones y no te olvides del arnés o soporte para que el peso no caiga únicamente en tus brazos o no podrás trabajar mucho tiempo con él. Resumen de los estabilizadores para vídeo Te recomendamos descartar los estabilizadores mecánicos por lo farragoso que es trabajar con ellos por muy baratos que sean. Y después tan solo ten en cuenta que el precio de un estabilizador varía principalmente del peso que soportan. También de alguna funcionalidad que traigan o de la propia marca. Y otro conejo seria que huyas de las ofertas locas, ya que hay muchos timos con este tipo de productos. Si ves que un gimbal cuesta menos de la mitad del precio oficial desconfía.
