This week we discuss the MUFC win over Newcastle, and the three signings from the summer transfer. We also try to figure out why they're loaning players who otherwise should be sold. Also, Austin FC stadium updates and our thoughts go out to Virgil Van Dijk. We hope the recovery process is quick.
Manchester United's season opening loss to Crystal Palace was a fluke right.... RIGHT!? Wrong. They got completely smashed by Tottenham Hotspur. Dave, Gabe, and Bernie immediately react to whatever the hell this match was.
Yeah, your favorite foul mouthed soccer podcast is back and Manchester United's defense forgot they had a season opener against Crystal Palace. In other news, Anthony Precourt and Austin Texas, were shown to be on the right side of history with Austin FC selling out its season ticket stash and a complimentary article out of Cincinnati.

Marshall had his second match with the PAYSL U4 Bulldogs and the guys promote two upcoming events with Austin Anthem and Austin FC.
Dave's youngest, Marshall, AKA Chango, played his first soccer match on PAYSL's u4 Bulldog team. Austin Anthem has a helluva chant session at Oskar Blue on MLS opening day. Nashville and Inter Miami debut in the MLS, and Manchester United and Everton have gnarly match with six yellow cards and massive brain fart by David De Gea.

Dave and Bernie are still optimistic regarding Manchester United's recent woes with a tie at Sheffield United and a loss to FC Astana in Europa Cup group stage. Can Ole turn the season around? Will United start attacking the ball? Will David De Hea be the club mvp again? Here's looking to 3 points over Aston Villa
It's been a tough couple of months for the Atomic Soccer Crew. Manchester United and the USMNT have been playing like shit. Friend of the show, fellow Austin Anthem member, and Austin FC supporter, Josh Jaxon shows up to share beer, pizza and find the silver lining.
After celebrating the recent succeses of the USWNT and the USMNT, Dave fires off a rebuttal to what he feels was a misrepresentation of his sentiments regarding the Austin Bold and Bobby Epstein as reported in a recent Austin Chronicle article.
Dave goes to an Austin Bold match. Austin FC accrues 30,000 reservations for season tickets in 24hrs, much to many MLS fan's chagrin. The USWNT reign down hellfire on Thailand in their Women's World Cup opener, and fans are mad?? Six points. That's all Manchester United needed for a 4th place finish. Six points against the two last place teams in the Premier League.
The fellas attend the first I Love United event outside of New York. Shoutout to El Paso Locomotive for a win over Reno. Manchester United's slump continues with a loss to Manchester City, and tie with Chelsea. At least it was a tie. As for Millwall, they seem to be safely out of relegation with a 4 point lead over Rotherham United.
Yeah... United got thrashed by Barcelona. In other UEFA Champion's League news, Ajax continues their Cinderella run into the semi-finals and Tottenham Hotspur made Manchester City fans cry. Manchester United slip down the Premier League table. Millwall stays out of relegation by the skin of their teeth, and when in the hell will Crew fans start supporting their team? Dave and Bernie have no idea. Meanwhile, things move forward for Austin FC and Sporting KC is America's last hope in the CONCACAF Champion's League. Oh yeah, and Austin Bold won a game.
The guys have even less respect (If that's possible) for Columbus Crew fans after their second home game of the season netted a half-empty MAPFRE stadium. Bobby Epstein, owner of the Austin Bold, is still on his long term pity troll as two sympathetic articles are published in local Austin media. Meanwhile, international play is going on with the USMNT coming out ahead of Equador 1-0 and wtf happened to Brad Guzan?
It was a wild week in UEFA Champion's leage with Ronaldo scoring a hat trick for Juventus and sending Athletico Mardid packing. In CONCACAF news, only Sporting KC remains as the lone MLS team. Will they sally forth? Did the nefarious Bobby Epstein buy a radio show?
It was a busy soccer week with the start of the MLS season, UEFA and CONCACAF Champions League matches and a bit of trash talk towards Columbus Crew and FC Dallas fans. Shout out to Tigres and their supporters.
Dave comes across a 2017 article from Forbes about how soccer can be "Americanized." He tears it to shreds. Also, what happened when Manchester United met Liverpool at Old Trafford? If you're in the Austin area, be sure to join the Austin FC support group, Austin Anthem, 3pm this Saturday, March 2, at St. Elmo's Brewing Co. for MLS Kickoff Day.

Dave and Bernie pull no punches when addressing the attitude of FC Dallas fans and their SG, the Beer Guardians, towards Austin FC. While they're at it, they also address Houston Dynamo and the Texian Army's take on things as well. Also, what the hell is a LaCinco12? Manchester United moves on to an 8-0 record across all competitions under the guidance of the "The Babyfaced Assassin," Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after crushing Arsenal 3-1 in an FA Cup match. The guys are also stoked that Millwall defeated Everton and moves on in the tournament as well. The guys further speculate on US Men's Team and how things will turnout under Greg Berhalter's guidance.

They also have cause to celebrate as Anthony Precourt and the City of Austin, TX reach and sign a lease agreement for much anticipated McKalla Place Stadium deal - the future home of Austin FC. Naturally, they compare Austin's stadium deal to the proposed Columbus Crew stadium deal in Columbus, OH
It's a short one this week but it was pretty good. Manchester United had two good showings against Arsenal and Fullham. Atlanta United and Portland Timbers packed Atlanta's arena with 73k attendees!!! Dave talks meeting up with Austin Anthem for the MLS Cup final at Haymaker.
This week we have: Austin FC officially starts selling gear online. Manchester United qualifies for the Champion's League Round of 16. Austin Anthem's MLS CUP Final watch party at Haymaker's Who is Allister McAllister and what does he have to do with Zach and the gang on the Throw In? Hooliganism is alive and well in Argentina as Boca Jr's and River Plate clash for a championship.
This week: Bernie gets FIFA 19. John Madden should do commentary on every sport The guys compare Columbus' proposed stadium deal with the Haslam family, to Austin's deal with Precourt. Will Columbus, OH pony up the 100 million the Haslams are asking for in a new stadium deal? Manchester United ahem... well, they tied Crystal Palace.
Dave and Bernie have a relatively chill conversation about USMNT, Wayne Rooney, USWNT, the Class of 92, Salford City FC, Manchester United, the most valuable MLS franchises, and MLS Playoffs.
The war is not over against Bobby Epstein and COTA. Even though the vile heels, Indy Austin, crashed and burned, and so did their precious props J & K, Epstein is still funding anti-MLS PACs. Meanwhile, the USWMNT stays on track with their 500th team win and stretching their 2018 record to 17-0-2 after beating Portugal. Manchester United pulls out a win over Juventus and the guys discuss MLS playoffs. Gabe riles up Bernie and Dave talks about the most recent Austin Anthem meeting.
Things escalate quickly when the guys discuss the politics and racist memes employed by Indy Austin - an extremely small group of middle-aged people bent on preventing MLS2ATX, who've lost their funding from Bobby Epstein and COTA for using a racist meme in a political video. Also Bernie breaks down MLS playoffs, and the guys discuss Manchester United and Millwall.
There are bad losers, and then there are bad winners. Bernie addresses the latter. If you think Skeletor was an evil dude, you haven't met Bobby Epstein of COTA and Austin Bold. The guys congratulate the USWNT for destroying their CONCACAF competition and cruising to the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup; Millwall making out of relegation, and discuss Manchester United's recent performances on the pitch.
The war over the Columbus Crew is over. Updates on USMNT and USMNT.
Jose Mourinho is walking a razor's edge at Manchester United after 2 losses and a cousin-kissing tie in Champion's League group stage against Valencia. Bernie thinks it's time to sack him. The fellas start off this week with a recap of their recent road trip to watch Columbus Crew play FC Dallas in a cousin kissing 0-0 tie. They are confused why so many #SaveTheCrew supporters were in Dallas watching an Ohio State football game. The guys weren't that impressed by Dallas' SG, or their trash talk leading up to the game. Bernie is pissed at TNT's coverage of the Champion Leagues group stages. But it didn't change Manchester United's 3-0 routing of Young Boys. Meanwhile in the MLS, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores his 500th career goal with a sweet kick. The fellas also talk about F-Troop and the Bushwackers, Millwall's infamous football firm.
Due to a road trip to Dallas, the guys aren't doing a full episode this week. In the interim, Dave briefly discusses, Manchester United v. Watford; USMNT v. Mexico; a finger poke of doom during the Liverpool v. Tottenham match, and Millwall v. Leeds United.

Bernie analyzes the Columbus Crew manager and ponders if he's a good fit for the national team and the fellas discuss an upcoming road trip to Dallas.
After getting crushed by Tottenham, the guys wonder what's in store for Manchester United and more importantly, Jose Mourinho. The fellas also bid adieu to Clint Dempsy, one the all time greats of American Men's Soccer and Gabe and Bernie bust Dave's balls for watching the USWNT. There's also a Millwall update.
