On this week's episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete and Chris (with Sids still on the beach) dive headfirst into the hilarious and often cringe world of footballers in adverts. From Crouchy's proudest Pringles moment to the beauty of the Jamie Vardy Thailand ad, nothing is off limits. The boys reminisce over iconic commercials—from the Carlsberg Sunday League masterpiece to Owen's iconic Dubai helicopter advert—and question whether footballers should ever really act again.Crouchy shares tales from the set with Fabregas and Anelka, while the lads dissect Cristiano Ronaldo's truly bewildering Shopee ad and discuss the genius of Burger King's Stevenage FIFA hack.We also hear from listeners: should clubs pick players based on acting skills? And what really is the greatest beer of all time? Airport beer? Train beer? Christmas Guinness? What if we listened to the complex clicks of whales and could understand their meanings? What would we hear and how might we respond? More-Than-Human (MOTH) Life Collective founder César Rodríguez-Garavito, artist and technologist James Bridle, and author Rebecca Giggs come together in this conversation with Emergence executive editor Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee to explore the ethical, legal, and relational implications of a new project using AI machine learning to translate the speech of sperm whales. Contemplating the human-centric linking of language with intelligence, the moral complexities of collecting and using these translations, and what it might mean to have an ear for “whale-ish,” they discuss whether a shared language is even needed to find a depth of kinship with whales. Ahead of the exclusive interview with Ryan Giggs being released - Rio wanted to release a special bit of content from his chat with the Manchester United legend. Following several heated debates with several podcast regulars on the topic of who is better between Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo - Rio wanted to hear from the man who played with them both. Before he gives his definitive opinion, Giggs also discusses why he admires Ronaldo so much, the first impression the Portuguese winger made and how the treatment dished out by Paul Scholes and himself helped Ronaldo acclimatise to life at Manchester United. Today's returning guest is the founder of The Giggs Group and co-host of the Property-Pxrn Stars podcast. He started his career at one of the biggest estate agencies in the world and lead his first region of 9 offices from 92nd to number 1 in the company in less than three years.Since then, he has built 8 different Estate Agency brands, handled over 200 billion pounds worth of successful property sales, and sold properties in both the 7 and 8-figure categories leading to multiple industry awards. He now helps Estate Agents To Complete More Deals, Build Stronger Client Relationships & Achieve Their Business Goals and has coached and spoken about these subjects at public events including being selected by Rightmove as a coach to show agents how to build their business.I massively benefited from his coaching back in 2018 and would not be where I am today without his mentoring, so could not wait to get him back on the podcast and let the listeners benefit from his wisdom as well. His first appearance in episode 73 is one of the most listened to podcasts I've released, so this is definitely not one to miss as it's full of absolute gold!

Episode Summary: Menina interviews Swoosh, who began dancing at age four, inspired by Michael Jackson. He recalls teaching himself dance through TV, as dance wasn't as accessible in the UK during the 80s. His passion grew through family performances and school talent shows. Encouraged by a school teacher, Swoosh started taking dance seriously after a successful school talent show performance. He pursued formal training in ballet, contemporary, and jazz, expanding his skills and understanding of dance technique, which shaped his professional journey. Swoosh formed Flawless, a now-famous dance group, starting as a boys-only club at his school. He valued mentality over ability in selecting members. Flawless trained hard, won their first UK championship, and continued to excel in international competitions, including the USA vs. UK championship. Swoosh reflects on Flawless' rise to global fame after their appearance on Britain's Got Talent, which led to sold-out tours and a larger fanbase. Flawless has since expanded from a core group to an academy, training the next generation of dancers. Swoosh embraced TikTok during the pandemic, growing his following by bulk-creating content and collaborating with celebrities. He highlights the importance of using social media strategically to build a personal brand and advises dancers to focus on their unique qualities. Swoosh encourages dancers to embrace their individuality and purpose. He emphasizes building consistent content for social media, using personality to stand out, and staying true to oneself in auditions. Swoosh closes with words of encouragement, urging dancers to stay authentic and focused on their purpose. Menina thanks him for his insights, concluding the episode on a hopeful note for future collaborations. On this episode, when we first put this together, our guest Scott Welch indicated that we could pick the topics of discussion, as long we didn't involve how quantum physics works. We agreed. So instead, we chat about the aspects of the music business, from Artificial Intelligence, to touring, to managing acts, and how artists need to take control of their careers. In other words, we take a peek behind the curtain, and chat about all things regarding the music biz! Scott Welch is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of experiences in the music industry, entertainment sector, and technology ventures. Today we've got a fun one. First, Rory meets another Yankee legend. Meanwhile, Mal doesn't like nose kisses (or any affection). Speaking of unwanted affection, Rudy Guiliani is a creep. We finally got Trump's mugshot and the memes didn't disappoint. Trackstar Noah Lyles takes shots at the NBA which leads to a disagreement among the team vs. Mal. Staying on American greats, the Navy Seal who killed Osama Bin Laden gets arrested for disorderly conduct. Then Miguel gets suspended during a show. We celebrate the life of tv show legend Bob Barker and Rory asks a question to the team. We discuss the recent music releases Victoria Monet, Russ, and Nicki Minaj being a playable character on Call of Duty. For the rest of the episode we are joined by Giggs. We discuss the cultural similarities and differences of London/New York. We share a classic tour story from the strip club. Giggs shares his favorite up and coming artists and shares his reaction to hearing his name on Jay's verse from “God Did”. We have a fun group of voicemails that leave Giggs astonished. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this + more!
