    Mason Crane burst onto the international cricket scene with a bang this summer of 2017, making his T20 International debut at The Ageas Bowl against the touring South Africans. Taking 1 for 38 from his allotted overs, including the prized scalp of AB De Villiers, the 20-year old marked his arrival in style. And in September, he was named in England's Test squad for the 2017–18 Ashes series. Crane has come through a coaching system that includes Lancing School, Hampshire age-groups and Academy, and the England Development Programme. But embedded in this story of a rising star, are Nick and Alison Crane, Mason’s parents.
