Covey and Katie Wise have been married twenty-four years. They have five children and use their experiences from marriage and parenting to encourage couples and young families to draw closer to God and to each other. Covey has served as an evangelist for Monroeville Christian Church for the past eleven years. Their entire family is actively involved in various church ministries of this growing and thriving congregation in southwest PA. About seven years ago, they learned about Marriage Dynamics and became class facilitators. Since then, they have led several classes and have seen the marriage ministry in their congregation grow. They firmly believe that the marriage ministry should be a primary ministry of any local church. Their reality is, "Dating is huge in marriage. Children should enhance your marriage - not disturb it." - Katie Wise www.marriagedynamics.com
When it comes to mixing two families together, much wisdom comes from this episode's couple in how they were able to slowly work at making sure their children developed a relationship with their newly grafted-in family member. A blended marriage (or a "CrockPot marriage" as Ken so quickly reminds us) takes time. Tanna and Ken's compelling story shows strength, vulnerability in weakness, intuition and sincere determination when it comes to a second marriage for both. Lots of mistakes, lots of tears, but in the end - lots of hope and faith that anyone can overcome a broken marriage (even the second time around) through Marriage Dynamics Institute. This is a great episode to pass along to all married couples who struggle with infidelity, character flaws or those trying to make their family system work. www.marriagedynamics.com

The Kridners have been leading Dynamic Marriage workshops now for fifteen years. This couple enjoys a flourishing marriage that they've worked hard on and continue to do so. Jason says, "It's less about information (because there are many courses and curriculums out there), but none is as transformational as Marriage Dynamic's Dynamic Marriage course." These top notch, vulnerable and relatable facilitators know - there's nothing that will change the course of dead-end marriage quite like Dynamic Marriage! www.marriagedynamics.com

Since financial compatibility is rarely discussed before a couple makes a long-term commitment, it has become one of the most difficult hurdles in a marriage. Money is known to be the number one issue married couples argue about, with more than a third blaming finances for the stress they experience in their relationship. This season, with the year's high inflation and rising costs, the holidays may not feel so “merry & bright” for many. Senior Director of Winshape Marriage, Julie Munz Baumgardner discusses with host Sue Duffield, insightful and practical ways couples can successfully navigate — or avoid altogether — financial disagreements this Christmas. As a passionate champion for families, Julie has nearly 40 years of experience in helping marriages and families thrive. Julie currently chairs the Board of Directors for the National Association for Relationship & Marriage Education. She presented at the White House Conference on Helping America's Youth and testified on Capitol Hill about the benefits of marriage. She is a nationally sought-after speaker at conferences, parenting seminars and marriage retreats where she gives talks on strengthening marriage, preparing for parenthood and navigating the complexities of motherhood. She is a Certified Family Life Educator and Certified Crisis Intervener. Julie and her husband, Jay, have been married since 1989. They are the proud parents of an adult daughter, Ashley. Julie enjoys gardening, horseback riding, cooking, working with children, and mentoring couples. www.marriagedynamics.com

Aaron & Gwen Warwick's story is one that was definitely not “love at first sight” (in fact they were both suspicious of the other after that first encounter on the basketball court), but they eventually became good friends and started dating, and the rest is history! The couple has lived in Wichita, Kansas for the past 12 years, where Aaron pastors St Mary Orthodox Christian Church, and Gwen works as a nurse practitioner in cardio-thoracic surgery at Wesley Medical Center. They have four kids, ages 17, 15, (soon to be 13), and 11. The couple's first introduction to Marriage Dynamics Institute was through Gwen's parents, who took the Dynamic Marriage class at a church in Ohio. After leaving seminary for their parish assignment, the couple attended Dynamic Marriage training in San Diego about 10 years ago. Since that time they have offered multiple classes at their church. Their own marriage has been positively impacted by the lessons learned from the class, and they have no greater joy in ministry than seeing other couples transform their marriage through the classes. www.marriagedyanmics.com
