The Berlin resident shares his passion for analog recordings with his audience worldwide. He carries a large piece of music history in his record case and brings a refreshingly good mood- a mixture that captivates on the dancefloor. Chicago and New York House make his heart beat faster, but the young producer also has deep house and acid in his repertoire. With a special instinct for his guests, he is fascinated and inspired by role models such as Seth Troxler and Mr. G. With the help of these artists, Philipp stylishly creates a very groovy and often soulful sound that motivates his audience to dance. The groove is contagious and unmistakably nostalgic when Philipp Frueh is at the turntable. Frueh states, "You have to feel house, not only as a DJ, but also as a listener. For example, Chicago House, a mix of disco and a wide variety of synth-pop sounds - relatively simple, but driving and expressive through the right groove." Here he is at a home, in his element, "Clubs, festivals or a little after-hour in the living room at home - as soon as I get behind the decks and can celebrate with everyone, I'm happy." Since his first official appearance in 2011 at a small open-air called Tiefenrausch, his musical engagement has picked up speed. The Thuringian, resident in the cultural collective NEUGUT and NERVOES is well booked in the Beat-Mekka, berlin. In addition to regular gigs at the clubs Griessmuehle, Meier, Polygon, and Sisyfass, he transports his driving rhythms beyond the Berlin scene. Recently DJing at clubs in Hamburg such as Waagenbau and Fundbureau, at the Kulturlounge in Leipzig, in Weidendamm Hannover and at several festivals. His personal highlights include appearances in 2016 and 2017 at the Burning Man festival located in the Nevada desert. René started out as a glass collector in a discotheque in a discotheque in Altenburg, but it wasn't long before he was drawn to the DJ booth to learn the trade of a light jockey/technician. On the days when there were no events, he tried out the turntables with his ever-growing record collection. The first gigs in front of an audience in the discotheque were not long in coming. But bookings in regional clubs soon followed, including well-known names such as. AchterMai & Brixton-Chemnitz, Milchbar-Leipzig, Cult-Neukirchen, Wuitz-Mumsdorf, Alte Wollspinnerei-Altenburg, Nachtcafé-Leipzig and many more. Oliver grew up in the south of Germany in a little village near the black forrest. At the age of 16 he met a friend who introduced him to Techno. He was so fascinated by this subculture that he soon started organizing his own raves with selfmade soundsystems. This was the first time he played for an audience. His nickname at the time was Olschgo which is why he later decided to take this as an Artist name in memory of the old days. When Oliver moved to Berlin in 2012 his love for Techno grew and he soon restarted organizing raves with his former artist collective Schappo Klack. This was the time when Oliver was beginning to become a professional DJ. After a few years of playing at various Berlin clubs and festivals in Germany and abroad he started producing his own music. The rise of electronic music must have had an influence on numerous biographies in the early 90s. The new sound in the clubs also left its mark on Sven Tasnadi. Born in 1978 in Leipzig, he is one of the figureheads of his hometown's extremely vivid club scene. In 1995, after innumerable clubbing nights, he was curious enough to learn deejaying himself. Through acid house and Chicago house, he found his way to more minimalistic forms of house and techno. It wasn't long before he was being booked for gigs in Leipzig clubs. Soon he also had his first gigs outside of Leipzig – for instance at the legendary Berlin Tresor. In addition to deejaying, Sven Tasnadi was also attracted to the idea of producing his own tracks. In the beginning his equipment was still relatively modest. However, over the past years, he has managed to create a studio setup that meets his standards. In terms of musical style, the Leipzig-based artist has always kept all options open – his tracks vary from deep house, percussive-reduced tech house and soul influences to trip hop and ambient. Today Sven Tasnadi is considered a firm fixture in the German clubbing culture. His tracks have appeared on EPs released by labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Smallville Records, Poker Flat Recordings, Liebe*Detail and Ornaments. Sven Väth was especially impressed by Tasnadi early on and licensed his track “Waiting For You Again” for his “Sound of Season” compilation. At the same time, he produced more than a dozen remixes for Steve Bug, Johannes Heil, Anja Schneider and others. Sven Tasnadi now has regular releases on Cargo Edition. As one of its most important artists, he has a considerable impact on the label's sound. In 2015, the label Oh! Yeah! was discontinued. Still, it was also the year in which Sven decided to produce his second studio album, this time with a clear focus on more club oriented sounds. Its title All In was chosen to reflect the wide spectrum of dance tracks it contained, ranging from rather low energy warm up tracks to full-blown peaktime bangers. Richard Cleber started approaching music at the tender age of 10, when he discovered dance music, house music of the 90's and all its branches and trends. Edib D is Sarajevo based DJ / producer / promoter, as well as the manager of Trezor Club in Sarajevo. He was born at the beginning of the 80s of the 20th century in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. From his youngest days music becomes a sort of obsession and in the late 90s he had first contacts with electronic music popular back then. Soon, house and techno become the main choices of the music he is listening to and he started exploring the scene actively, showing up on gigs of well-known DJs in the country and the region. He experienced a breakthrough in 2014 when he started playing at the Sarajevo club "Pussy Galore". He quickly became a permanent member of the DJ crew who has performed in this famous club and his performances were becoming more and more popular. After closing the club in 2015, management of the "Pussy Galore" opened the “Silver & Smoke”, now already cult club, where Edib D becomes a resident. During 2018, Edib became a resident in Trezor Club in Sarajevo, as well as a resident DJ of Dream Catcher, magnificent club located in mountains in Montenegro. At the beggining of 2019 he started with management of Club Trezor. Edib D shared club & festival stages with Reinier Zonneveld, Moonwalk, Citizen Kain, Jiggler, Petar Dundov, Danny Howells, Cosmic Boys, Guy Mantzur, Danito & Athina, Sam Shure, YokoO, Patrice Baumel, Traumer, Quivver, Cid Inc., The Third Son, Eelke Kleijn, Chicola, Ray Okpara, Habischman, Dmitry Molosh, Javier Portilla, Dubfire, ANNA, AFFKT, Silicone Soul, Carlo Lio, Alberto Ruiz, Paolo Barbato, Miguel Bastida, Malden Tomic, Sinisa Tamamovic, etc. Edib also played in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Austria. In 2017 he entered the world of production. On June 8, 2018, he released his first EP “Columbian Swing” for New York based label Hydrogen Inc. At the end of 2017, he formed the association “dance.more.sleep.later” with a group of friends, which aims to present high quality names from the world of electronic music. He strongly opposes classifying music by genres and subgenres and hates being asked what kind of music he listens to and plays. The AantiGen (NTGN) was born in south of Germany 1985 and lived his early years at the bottom oft he black forest. During his youth and early twenties NTGN started producing mainly hiphop and singer-songwriter music and had quite a few shows in germany and over seas. After moving to Berlin in 2008 NTGN´s passion for Techno and Housemusic got bigger and soon he released on Labels like Bar25, ACHT, ANALOGMusiq, Klangwild just to name a few. It was a memorable night, way back then in the 90ies, cult label Strictly Ryhthm put on a big show at the Docks (Reeperbahn Hamburg) and inspired Mumbai (India) born birkenlauber to start his deejaying career. Driven by his idols, such as Armand van Helden, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and more, he developed a huge love for house music. Nevertheless deejaying stayed a hobby as his career as a copy writer was the focus. Since 2012 he's back to more deejaying again. Also his sound has advanced and moved on – these days birkenlauber's sets are a skillful mix of pounding deep house, melodic tech house and straight techno, ranging from 118 to 130 bpm. Making remixes for numerous other artists he also made himself a name as a talented producer. Under the name of MOB MOB on British lable Kingdom Kome Cuts his first EP was distributed in 2014. Further releases followed on Audio Safari and Clublands Records, for example. DJ/producer Gunnar Stiller has seen Berlin transform considerably over the last couple of decades, soaking in influence as well as helping shape its development as a musical force, becoming a fixture of the city's scene along the way. Whether playing in clubs around the world such as Panorama Bar and Watergate in Berlin, Hive Club Zurich, Baum in Bogotá and Glow Bangkok or producing his own tracks for respected labels like Upon.You Records, Smiley Fingers, Voltage Musique and Ballroom Records, Stiller's technique is deep in character, an outward-reaching combination of techno and techhouse with his trademark funk-tinged basslines. In 2003 while working as manager for Berlin-based event agency No Ufos, Gunnar found himself in the heart of a perfect playground to gain insight and develop his own style, which at the time was focused on deep house, breaks and electro. Inspired by those around him such as Steve Bug, Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Landsky, Stiller quickly began to carve out his own sound that impressed not just the dancers filling the floor but also any promoter and organizer who was paying attention. Pushing himself toward further success, he founded the artist alliance Edelmut in 2004 along with a few of his friends, an endeavor which quickly gained them notoriety as they played in the city's top clubs like Watergate, Bar25 and later the infamous KaterHolzig , the latter of which invited Gunnar to become a resident DJ, a position he gladly accepted. On top of this, he became a regular player at the legendary HomeSweetHome sessions. His debut release, the Heideberg EP, and its followup the Manaus Madness EP – both on Voltage Musique – landed directly within the Top 5 German club charts, and Marek Hemmann's remix of “Manaus Madness” was voted the #10 best remix by dance music authority Groove Magazine's 2010 readers' poll. It was around this time that Gunnar joined Upon.You Records as part of their label and booking roster, releasing a lot more EPs and contributing to the acclaimed label compilation Upon.You Diary, which was compiled by himself in 2014. These where followed by collaborations and remix projects with artists like Solomun, AndHim, Layo & Bushwacka!, Alex Niggemann, Danny Serrano, Ray Okpara, Nikola Gala, Larry Cadge, Odd People, Samuel Dan, Nakadia, Dj Le Roi or Loko and more released tracks on labels like Clap Your Hands, Smiley Fingers and Time Has Changed. In the last few years, he has been booked to play at top festivals such as Sonar Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Melt! Ben Champell´s sound is a mix of dark pressing techno beats and hooking melodic tech-house tunes all in a lower range of speed than techno music is usually played. He is calling it “Downtempo Techno”. Within the past 8 years Ben released his tracks & remixes on labels like Funk´n Deep, Complexed Records, Stick Recordings or Jannowitz Records to name only a few. Musicwise his homebase he found at Complexed Records the imprint of techno legend Drumcomplex and Blufin Records based in Cologne. Holger Zilske aka SmashTV is what you call a Real Berliner. Being born and raised in the city his awareness and interest in music developed naturally in his early youth days. With the foundation of SMASH TV in 2001 almost 20 years are now lying in-between, making him to one of the core figures and ambassadors of Berlin's dynamic music scene. In those years SMASH TV released 80 EPs and countless remixes on imprints such as Get Physical Music, Moon Harbour, Katermukke, Hive Audio and many more. Working as a producer and composer on numerous projects has lead to a constant progress in musical growth and to an establishment of a signature character to his pieces. His productions are being recognized cross-generationally and after years spending time in the studio he is a self considered studio nerd. Over the years he did not only gain a wide knowledge and know how in the there, he also refined it while being behind the decks and touring around the world. Playing around the world in all big ‚techno concerts hall' gave him a great ability to read and connect with the crowd.
