En ce 24 décembre, plusieurs adaptations de romans sortent sur grand écran dont "L'inconnu de la grande arche", film que Stéphane Demoustier a tiré du livre "La grande arche" de Laurence Cossé, paru en 2016. Interrogé par Anne Laure Gannac, le réalisateur parle de son travail pour passer du livre au film. Deux autres sorties très attendues dans les salles de Suisse Romande sont "La femme de ménage" adapté du best-seller de Freida McFadden par le réalisateur Paul Feig et "Stiller", coproduction suisse-allemande et adaptation par Peter Haupt du roman du même nom de Max Frisch. Ces deux adaptations sont débattues par Sarah Clément et Isabelle Falconnier.

Il fallait une certaine audace pour adapter les quelques 500 pages d'un des monuments de la littérature helvétique: Max Frisch. Tout comme le roman initial, le film "Stiller" creuse la question de l'identité humaine. Lors d'un voyage en train à travers la Suisse, l'Américain James Larkin White est arrêté à la frontière. Il est accusé d'être le sculpteur Anatol Stiller, disparu sept ans auparavant et recherché pour son implication dans différentes affaires douteuses. Kåringen kan, skal og bør ikke forveksles med de andre, oftest fantasiforladte kåringer, hvor fornuftige biler med lang garanti, god bagsædeplads og lave driftsomkostninger besnærer motorjournalisternes hjerter. Sådan er det ikke her; her er det festligt, løssluppent og ikke mindst respektløst når fire gamle bilsnobkendinge finder frem til vinderne af de fire kategorier: Årets Bilsnobbil, Årets Brugte Bilsnobbil, Årets Youngtimer og Årets Veteranbil:Brian Osbech, Amagers bedste brugtvognsforhandler, har heldigvis solgt sin røde Corvette, droppet linedance, og er derfor med igen i år. Har på forhånd fået diskvalificeret Mercedes 124 og 126 som kandidater, og forsøger måske derfor at ødelægge den gode stemning med sorte DTM-fælge og nye kinesiske biler. Han har især forelsket sig i en såkaldt Firefly, der minder om en seksøjet Honda-klon med prednisolon-bivirkninger.Mikkel Brodin, Fredensborg, søn af en Toyota forhandler og tidligere Porsche sælger, hvorfor han dermed har tilladelse til at bære latterlige solbriller HELE døgnet. Laver stadig noget ingen ikke helt forstår, men noget med penge. Han ejer en Porsche 911 og afslører kun lidt morbidt, hvor man kan kan score gode youngtimere til spotpris. Måske derfor bliver han også tilgivet for at irettesætte værten. Stiller også op med den måske sidste Alfa man i virkeligheden gerne vil have.Adam Estrup, Herregårdsbarn (dog fra højre side af Jylland), den ældste deltager i bilsnobberne, men også den eneste, der har fået stjålet en skijakke i en BMW E30 M3 under en Gnags-koncert. Får til egen glæde refereret hans sorte fortid hos Audi i Tyskland, men må til gengæld nedslået sande, at ingen af hans nomineringer når finalen.Programmets vært, Stefan Kaas, Hellerup, men dog opvokset i vestegnes Monaco Herlev. Får som sædvanlig trumfet de fleste af sine nomineringer igennem. Måske vælger han rent faktisk de bedste bilsnobbiler, måske er det et udslag af ”podcastvært får ret, podcastpanel får fred”. Mere rystende er Stefans egen-afsløring af hans hidtil hemmeligholdte kærlighed til en amerikansk romcom fra 1990.TAK fordi I lytter så pænt med, sender beskeder og hilser på når vi mødes i billandet.
