Welcome back to Draw The Line Radio Show with me, Jacki-E. This is the show that celebrates music made by female and female identifying DJs and Producers. Helping me Draw The Line this week it's TINIQ from Cologne as our guest. This is a very special premiere for her, as it is her first radio show. She only started DJing last winter and, with her boyfriend, she founded the techno collective TVL in Cologne in spring 2025. What began with small open-air raves soon led to her first club events. TINIQ's musical influences come mainly from the Cologne club scene, especially the Artheater and BergWacht events. She has found her sound somewhere between driving tech house and energetic peak-time techno. Her sets are all about groove, pressure and movement and a clear message to the dance floor: standing still is not an option. This week we are joined by DJ royalty, our guest in today's show is the founder of Karess Records , he's created the legendary nights Nookie and he's gone on to have 4 world top 40's and a #1 hit Sail Away This week we had the pleasure of speaking with Sam Supplier and we discuss the intricate details of his music career. Sam was the man creator of infamous London party scene nights nookie and Karess and the man behind the no1 pirate radio station True FM. For years the police searched far and wide for Sam to shut down his station as at one one he was having more listeners than Kiss FM. Now Sam is a recognized producer in the house music scene and is signed to labels such as Catch & Release, @Glasgow Underground , @Analog Records to name few! As a music producer it's all too easy to be influenced by trends, and to end up switching tracks to what's popular at the moment.   My guest today chose to back himself, staying true to his path and having the confidence in himself to go for what he really wanted to go for and remain authentic.    David Penn (Defected, Glasgow Underground) is a house music legend. A man with a career that spans over 25 years that has seen him DJ all over the world and regularly top the music charts.   “I'm in a position that I believe in what I'm doing and it's more freedom for me to make what I have in my mind…that is something that's non-negotiable that isn't up for compromise”.   With an infectious enthusiasm for music and an identity of sound that he is well known for, David marries his skills with a rich mixture of funk, soul and jazz influences.   “I have many different influences, but I'm not following anyone…I'm just following my instinct that is working. So I'm happy.”   There's a lot to takeaway from this interview.
