LAS VEGAS – The Titans better hope what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas. In the Sin City, the Titans committed plenty of sins to get them beat in a 20-10 loss to the Raiders. The loss halted the positive feelings coming from last week's win at Arizona, and it dropped the team to 1-5. Quarterback Cam Ward threw a touchdown pass late, but the Titans sputtered on offense for most of the day and turned the ball over three times. While the defense battled, and did its part to keep the game close, this wasn't a day for complementary football, as the Titans couldn't muster up much offense on a day when Ward was sacked five times, and was responsible for all three of the team's turnovers. Ward finished the day 26-of-38 passes for 222 yards and an interception. Ward also lost two fumbles on the day. The Titans were forced to play catch-up football from the get-go, and they couldn't do it. The Raiders took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 50-yard field goal from kicker Daniel Carlson on their opening possession. While the Titans defense created havoc early, providing consistent pressure on Raiders quarterback Geno Smith, the offense struggled to get anything going. Then, late in the second quarter, disaster struck. That's when Raiders linebacker Devin White sacked Ward deep in Tennessee territory, forcing a fumble in the process. The Raiders recorded it at the Titans two-yard line, and cashed it in a short touchdown pass from Smith to tight end Michael Mayer to make it 10-0. The Titans appeared to be headed for points at the end of the first half, but Ward was hit as he threw the ball, and it was intercepted. The Titans trailed 10-0 at halftime. The Raiders then stretched the lead to 17-0 midway through the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown run by Ashton Jeanty. The Titans finally got on the scoreboard with 1:08 left in the third quarter on a 46-yard field goal by kicker Matthew Wright, which capped an eight-play, 51-yard drive. But the Titans couldn't make it much of a game after that, as the Raiders extended their lead to 20-3 on another Carlson field goal with 7:14 left to make it 20-3. A one-yard touchdown pass from Ward to tight end David Martin-Robinson made it 20-10 with 3:03 left, but it was too little, too late. The Titans return to action next week against the New England Patriots at Nissan Stadium. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Both teams are coming off losses, the Commanders against the Packers on Thursday night and the Raiders against the Chargers on Monday night. This episode previews that matchup. We jump over to the Raiders vs Commanders injury report, which sees Jayden Daniels not practicing with a knee injury, Noah Brown and John Bates as longshots to play, and Austin Ekeler and Deatrich Wise done for the season. Marcus Mariota is in line to start this game in place of Jayden Daniels. The Raiders, in contrast, are largely healthy. The Commanders offense, featuring Marcus Mariota, take on a Raiders defense that have forced a turnover in each game so far, and play zone a whopping 93% of the time! They have also been stout against the run so far, which could make life difficult for Bill Croskey-Merritt, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez. The Commanders feature Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel and Zach Ertz. How do we have success against this Raiders defense? The Commanders defense goes against Raiders QB Geno Smith, 1st round rookie RB Ashton Jeanty and an elite TE in Brock Bowers with a secondary option in Michael Mayer. At WR, Jakobi Meyers leads the team in targets. What do we hope to see on this side of the ball? The Commanders are home favorites, despite Jayden being not starting, favored by 3 points and the over-under is 43.5 points. Denver Broncos: Key Players: Bo Nix, Javonte Williams, Marvin Mims, Greg Dulcich. Keep an eye on Javonte Williams' recovery and resurgence in 2024. 2. Kansas City Chiefs: Key Players: Patrick Mahomes, Isaiah Pacheco, Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, Travis Kelce. Fantasy Insights: Mahomes is poised for another stellar season, but the wide receiver battle between Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice is one to watch. Don't forget about Isaiah Pacheco's potential as a high-end RB2. 3. Las Vegas Raiders: Key Players: Gardner Minshew, Zamir White, Devante Adams, Jacoby Myers, Brock Bowers. Fantasy Insights: Aiden O'Connell could emerge as the Raiders' QB1. Devante Adams remains a stalwart, but the tight end duo of Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer offers intriguing upside. 4. The guys (@GamblingPodcast) continue their 2024 NFL Team Preview series with the Las Vegas Raiders. We're joined by Vegas Matty (@vegas_matty) to take a look at the 2024 Las Vegas Raiders win total, futures, and player props to find their favorite 2024 Las Vegas Raiders bets. The Antonio Pierce era officially commences in Las Vegas, the interim tag was removed and he was granted the job after a successful stint filling in after Josh Mcdaniels was let go from the job. Along with it comes either the Gardner Minshew or Aiden McConnell quarterback era. Jimmy Garoppolo has moved on to Los Angeles and had a suspension to serve.Josh Jacobs moved on to Green Bay, leaving questions at running back, Zamir White will likely be the lead man. Brock Bowers was an interesting choice early in the draft but should be a key safety blanket for whoever starts at quarterback. He'll line up across from last year's draft pick at tight end in Michael Mayer. The two young tight ends along with veteran receivers Devante Adams and Jakobi Meyers will make for a strong receiving core for whenever ends up as the starting quarterback. After taking Bowers with their first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Raiders focused on the offensive line with back-to-back picks at C/G and offensive tackle to shore up their line and protect the young quarterback.Podcast Timecodes0:00 Intro3:50 2023 Las Vegas Raiders Recap6:25 Offseason Roster Moves12:40 Vegas Matty Joins the Show17:50 Las Vegas Raiders Schedule Breakdown34:44 Las Vegas Raiders Best Bets JOIN the SGPN community #DegensOnlyExclusive Merch, Contests and Bonus Episodes ONLY on Patreon - https://sg.pn/patreonDiscuss with fellow degens on Discord - https://sg.pn/discordDownload The Free SGPN App - https://sgpn.appCheck out the Sports Gambling Podcast on YouTube - https://sg.pn/YouTubeCheck out our website - http://sportsgamblingpodcast.comSUPPORT us by supporting our partnersUnderdog Fantasy code SGPN - Up to $250 in BONUS CASH - https://play.underdogfantasy.com/p-sgpnCirca Sports - 16 MILLION in guaranteed prizes w/ Circa Survivor & Circa Millions - https://www.circasports.com/circa-sports-millionFootball Contest Proxy - Use promo code SGP to save $50 at - http://proxy.footballcontest.comRithmm - Player Props and Picks - Free 7 day trial! http://sportsgamblingpodcast.com/rithmmGametime code SGPN - Download the Gametime app, create an account, and use code SGPN for $20 off your first purchase - https://gametime.co/OddsJam - 7-day free trial and 35% off your first month subscription promo code SGPN - https://fas.st/t/yaJkJgH132 NFL Team Previews - https://www.sportsgamblingpodcast.com/2024-nfl-team-previews/ ADVERTISE with SGPNInterested in advertising? Jeff previews the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders on today's pod. He kicks off with some thoughts on how to indirectly benefit from Patrick Mahomes if you don't draft him. Jeff then breaks down why he doesn't think Rashee Rice will be suspended until 2025 and gives some quick thoughts on Isiah Pacheco. Next, he turns his attention to the impact of having no clear starting quarterback on the Raiders skill players. Jeff also discusses why Brock Bowers will not be impacted by MIchael Mayer and throws some cold water on the Zamir White hype. Later, Jeff gets his balls broken by a caller.Get Jeff's content: FTN Fantasy
