The Leipzig based DJ and Producer Max alias Panik Pop has been a favorite for years for varied productions between Tech- and Deep House, between ecstasy and melancholy. In the last few years he has been a regular musical guest at the most important clubs from Germany over Swiss, Netherlands to Italia. He also played gigs at the biggest electronic festivals in Germany,  like Nature One, Sonne Mond Sterne, Helene Beach Festival, Sputnik Spring Break and released on boutique labels such as Moonbootique, Embassy of Music, Parquet Rec. or Kittball Rec. With his debut album „Isolated“ from 2019, Panik Pop created a musical image with his emotions and thus gained further international recognition. Since 2020 he's always leaving the deep House Genre and heading to a new musical territory. For now, he follows the unique Panorama of Underground Minimal and Tech House Vibes, inspired by Chris Stussy, Dimmish or the huge catalog of Solid Grooves or PIV Records.

Hello beautiful people around the world, Welcome back it is time for another Decisive podcast Munich Exclusive its Thursday May 6th 2021, this is episode #72 featuring my guest HVM (NXTOU/MUNICH) he is not new to the series but always delivers a upfront dj set of fine electronic music. Our interview today contains an interesting point of view on life & music. We hope you enjoy this episode feel free to share it with your friends and open minded music lovers. Peace! Short History about HVM. Have you ever tried to measure happiness in BPM? Watching HVM (Häppy van Mazn) while performing his magic on the decks with a perfectly dosed touch – which by the way looks amazing – one will answer: YES. Ever since he first set foot into the Allgäu-Techno Scene Häppy unfailingly amazes everyone shortly after entering the stage. Those ecstatic moments created by the hat lover every night today are not only great scams but pure passion. Not for nothing flaunts „Home of my music” on his chest. Hence, it’s very likely to meet him in all those fairytale living rooms of Berlin, aka Wilde Renate & Kater Blau, and that he moves up all Berliners into a stimulating trance on his journey through the multifarious world of music. Another affair of the heart is NXTOU, an aspirant agency, which took in addition to Häppy artists like Stefan Biniak, Julian Wassermann, Nusha, and Jonas Woehl under its wings. Somewhere along the nightlife-road – no one recalls where and when – they found each other. A baseline-raver-symbiosis with his partner in crime Genji Yoshida. Those soulmates shine brighter than any diamond found on this techno planet and manage to beautify the clubs and festivals all across the northern & southern hemispheres.
At the latest after their release “Miura” – signed on Moonbooticas Imprint “Moonbootique” hitting no 9 on the FAZE M. Charts – the world is aware that those two are as thick as thieves. The duo sends – without hesitation – everyone – once the beat drops out to come back at full tilt to find its way into your chest – on a tremendous sound trip shattering every wishful thinking and as a logical consequence piercing marrow and bone to dance. Häppy’s music can’t be narrowed down to a genre or pattern – it bends the bow from deep-house to techno and burns into the memory of everyone listening to it. However, one thing that his music does with us we know for sure: letting our Endorphins dance while we get goosebumps all our bodies. So this mix also is a flashback to your early days. Which impact did these tracks have on your later career? A: It is defenitly a flashback to the time, when we were listening intensively to electronic music which we heard mostly in the HR3 Clubnight and DJs like Ulli Brenner, DJ Dag, Marc Spoon, Talla 2xlc and so on. One can say, the sound of that time influenced us a lot in our later productions. As you know the melody ist he key thing in our sound, we focus on that to transport emotions feelings and to capture experiences. Nearly every track from then takes us back in time. But there were so much more tracks that influenced us in our productions. Q: I´ve heard there is a new live-set coming? Sounds exciting! Please tell us more about. A: We have planned a so called hybrid-set (Live and DJ), combining some of our classics out of the last 10 years, partly in reworked versions, including parts played live with hardware for a better live impression. Q: There are some new releases scheduled. What can we expect? A: Besides remixes for „Riesen ft. Haptic“ on Dear Deer Records and „Th;En & Starkato“ on „Euphonic“, a new EP on Moonbootique is planned and we are working on a single regarding our anniversary. It should represent us and our musical legislating of the last ten years. For that some remixers will be on board. Release is to be released on our homebase, Parquet Recordings.
