So many women struggle with their feelings about their body and how to manage their eating - and even more so when our body goes through a change. How much self-love do you feel? When we continually try and lose weight again and again from a place of hating ourselves thin, we often remain locked in the loop of yo-yo dieting.Losing weight from a place of acceptance and love for ourselves allows us to experience compassion and understanding for all of our imperfections including the size of our body and the way we eat, even when we've promised ourselves we would stop.We give ourselves the gift of being our own best friend and cheerleader. The person that has our own back in any situation, not just weight loss. In your weight loss journey, this means you're increasing your chances of losing weight for the last time and staying at your goal weight. And, in other areas of your life, you're going to feel more self-worth and confidence. It's a win-win all around, and it all begins with awareness. How much self-love do you have? What's your story? Are you strong and resilient? Can you see that you've had challenges in your life that you've come through, and understand why you perhaps ate emotionally to soothe the pain? Do you reflect back and now see that you perhaps just didn't know any better... that you hadn't come across the concept that our overeating can be a habit that can be changed, and a pattern that's become subconsciously programmed over time?Or, are you feeling useless and powerless in the face of sweets and crisps (or insert your favourite binge food here). Deep down you may feel that you'll never really be able to change any of this, after all, you've tried so many times and it's just not possible. Are you just a failure, destined to binge and overeat for the rest of your life and to carry around extra pounds? The story that you tell yourself now creates your future. If you are deep in the shame spiral, telling yourself that it's always been this way so it always will be, guess what? That's exactly what you'll create.Us emotional eaters tend to eat to feel relief from pain and struggle, so when we dwell on the past and beat ourselves up this often creates more overeating and restriction cycles - the very core of yo-yo dieting. In this episode, we discuss how to discover the story you're telling yourself, and how to create a new one from a place of compassion and understanding so you can build the future you dream of - not the one you fear you'll stay stuck in.What did you think? Success is about more than the number on the scale or your dress size. When we wait for these numbers to meet our expectations we often miss the subtle cues that show how much we are already succeeding. How our habits are already changing. How we are thinking differently moment-to-moment. How we are making incremental lifestyle upgrades. Noticing and celebrating these incremental changes is vital to recognise the success you already have - even if the scale isn't matching your expectation yet.
Not wanting to waste food is an obstacle that comes up for many of us on the weight loss journey. When we are tucking into our meal and find ourselves feeling content or even full, a little voice can start up telling us how bad it is to waste food, and how it's not fair to all the other people in the world who are starving. In this week's podcast I'm exploring the other side of the story: is it really a good use of extra food to eat it? And, can we consider reducing waste before it even gets to our plate?
Do you believe it's possible to lose weight? Can you maintain it easily for the rest of your life? Do you believe your body is beautiful? Many of us have engrained limiting beliefs that may feel impossible to change. I hear women telling me all the time that they don't believe it is possible to lose weight, that they will never keep it all off forever and that their body is fat or ugly. These beliefs never serve us on our weight loss journey, and ironically will usually sabotage our best efforts to heal our relationship with ourselves and maintain our weight loss for good. In this podcast I share my story of changing my beliefs that seemed true, and I share the thought ladder tool to help you do the same.

With the holidays approaching I hear from alot of women that they are having mixed feelings and internal struggles. Despite perhaps looking forward to the festive season, time away from work and spending time with loved ones there's a fear that we'll go off the rails as soon as we are around all the food and drink. Many women have told me they are worried about waking up on 1 January regretting all the overeating, feeling like they need to do a crash diet or some kind of new years resolution yet again. The thing is, many of us just believe it's a done deal: it's the holidays, we always over eat and we'll need to lose yet more weight come 1 January. What negative comments does your shitty committee (or inner critic) say to you? Many of these thoughts can create pain and struggle, especially for women in relation to eating and their body. The truth is these thoughts are not the truth. They are simply negative thoughts on repeat in our mind - a very normal thing for the average human brain. So many of us yo-yo dieters have suffered with patterns of overeating for years. We have been trained by the diet industry and media to be continually searching for the right eating plan, the right regime to get healthy. We have been taught that we are undisciplined if we have cravings that we can't control, and that we just need more will power. This continual search outside of myself kept me in the cycle of yo-yo dieting for decades, and ultimately ended in feeling hopeless and like there was something wrong with me.What I've come to realise now is that I had many unconscious eating patterns that just didn't serve me. Patterns and habits that could be changed once I had the awareness and could shine a light on them.In this episode I'm sharing 3 things I wish I'd known about overeating. I hope that this will give you a shortcut to finding peace with food, if you also find yourself in a long and toxic relationship with yo-yo dieting.::FOLLOW ME::Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lifebeyonddietingInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/lifebeyonddietingWebsite: https://keridwilliams.com/
I had a powerful coaching session with a client last week. At the start of the session, she asked me: what's the difference between losing weight though diet mentality vs the way you teach us? Priya* (not her real name) was feeling deflated. After having some great results in the first few months of our work together and losing over a stone, she found her weight fluctuating up and down recently while she tried to get a handle on a lot of social and family events with food there. She wanted to 'get back on track' but didn't want to do a crash diet or restrict herself again. The thought of restricting again made her feel resistant and she couldn't understand why she felt so different in comparison to the start of her journey when it felt so much easier. To answer her question, we took a look at her options. In this episode, we discuss what we found through her coaching session and the power of stepping into a new identity: the future version of yourself that no longer struggles with weight. After this coaching session, Priya dropped another 6lbs (3kg) and says she feels 'back on track'. In this episode you'll hear:What it's like to lose weight with diet mentality (most of us are very familiar, and resistant to this for a good reason!)How you can get clear on your future self: the version of yourself who has figured this out and no longer struggles with her weightHow to live into that version of yourself every day as a way to lose weight permanentlyI'll share some powerful coaching questions that will help you get clarity on the future version you'd love to live intoI'd love to hear your thoughts! Let's talk about your brain's role in weight loss. As I was updating my website here recently I found myself reflecting on how things have changed with the way I work with women and weight loss. When I was focussed on working as a natural health practitioner to help balance hormones, the work had a much more physical approach: get the digestive system working well, balance the hormones, fuel the body with the right foods, exercise, manage stress... things should play out. For some women, this approach worked a treat. The ones that stumped me at the time were the women who struggled with their weight for years and often ate emotionally. Women like me.Because of my own personal journey struggling with weight, it finally clicked: focussing on the food and exercise (diet mentality) just didn't work for women like us. We needed to look at why we still crave foods like chocolate, crisps and bread - even though we know better, and may even do better most of the time.In this podcast episode we talk about:Why we are motivated to do anything in our life - the motivational triadHow that plays out with food and eatingHow our brain is doing what it was designed to do, but needs supervision in our modern world full of easily accessed pleasure-giving foods like chocolate or sugarHow understanding all of this in itself is a powerful tool to quit the guilt, shame and self-blaming and have compassion that your brain and body are simply doing what they were designed to do::FOLLOW ME::Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lifebeyonddietingInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/lifebeyonddietingWebsite: https://keridwilliams.com/

For many of us, sugar can be a very addictive substance which leaves us feeling powerless in the face of intense cravings.I've been working with a client for the past few months who has had intense sugar cravings: biscuits, chocolates and sugary drinks have been her go-to. Not only was this creating even more hunger for her, but she was also eating alot of her emotions at work and just could not get to grips with what was going on in her body and brain. In this episode you'll hear about: - what happens in the body and brain when we eat sugar- how sugar creates over desire and over hunger, and how these responses are part of our survival mechanism- how eating our emotions is a very normal response to wanting to feel better- the conditioned responses that are created over time- and, finally the one tool to use today to start to decondition your desire and reduce your sugar cravingsI'd love to hear your thoughts! I see this block coming up in women's weight loss journeys all the time - including my own. Grab a pen and paper - I'm sharing some strategies with you to help you bust this limiting belief, and get back on track! My weight loss journey was never really about my weight at all. Little did I know at the start of the journey...
I recently caught up with Alice Barnes, a Personal Stylist from ABC Image. I met Alice recently and we really hit it off, chatting all about body confidence, weight loss and body image. She and I hold many of the same values and beliefs. If you'd like some insight from a Personal Stylist on how to make the most of your body, to love it as it is and to find ways to accentuate and draw focus to the areas you want to focus on then this episode is for you.One of the things that I really took away from our chat was understanding how wrong my belief was that all the clothes in the shops are just made for size 8 model-type bodies, and that's why they always look good. Anyone can look great at any size.Alice shares some wisdom on:how to look good at any sizehow to accentuate an apple shaped body's assetshow to accentuate a pear shaped body's assetsthe role of mindset in looking and feeling goodThis is the last episode of this podcast before the summer break. Enjoy your summer break, and I'll be back in September with some new podcasts!
When you're losing weight and about to embark on a holiday it can bring up so many mixed emotions. For many of the women I work with, there is a feeling that they can't trust themselves not to lose control around all of the food available while they are travelling. For others, there can be a worry that they are going to undo all of their good work, and put all the weight back on again plus more. It's such a shame for these types of emotions to come up just before a holiday: a time when we should be excited, and ready for a rest or adventure - not worrying about food and our weight. The truth is you can go on holiday and lose weight if you choose to. Or, maintain, or gain. It's entirely up to you. Today I'm sharing the strategy I teach my clients to help them successfully navigate a holiday while still reaching their goal.On this episode of the podcast we discuss:- using the highest part of your brain to plan and research your trip, so you aren't reacting to tiredness, convenience or being unsure what to do while you're away- how considering your obstacles and planning a strategy for them can help you navigate any challenges while you're away- my worksheet I share with clients to help them plan their tripI'd love to hear your thoughts, come on over to my website and leave a comment on this podcast page keridwilliams.com/24PS: Would you like to take a step towards breaking the pattern of overeating today? Do you ever find your brain automatically reacting with a judgement about other women? Phrases like "skinny bitch!" or "it's easy for her" or even "she might be skinny but at least I'm nice".Thoughts like these can be like dirty little secrets we hold onto and make us feel shame or guilt for saying things like that - especially if we find out later that the woman we are judging is gorgeous AND lovely. Shame! What's interesting about this is we can pick up on our subconscious beliefs about ourselves, or what it will be like to be at our goal weight. When we say things like "she might be skinny but at least I'm nice", what our subconscious brain hears is "if you're skinny like her people will think you're mean". When we hold onto beliefs like that about slim women, our subconscious mind will try and sabotage all of our attempts to slim to our ideal weight. On this episode we discuss:A couple of the beliefs I've discovered on my weight loss journey that were sabotaging meHow I triggered myself intentionally with magazines and social media to surface lots of judgementsBeing curious about these thoughts and how they may be blocking us from losing weightUsing tapping (EFT) to clear these beliefsI'd love to hear your thoughts, come on over to my website and leave a comment on this podcast page keridwilliams.com/23PS: Would you like to take a step towards breaking the pattern of overeating today? Have you ever found yourself eating when you promised THIS time you would stick to your diet?Do you ever wonder why the hell you always sabotage your success? These are questions I get from my clients all the time, and I used to wonder that about myself too - even only a few months ago in my weight loss journey! The thing is our brains are designed to help us survive and part of that is about keeping us safe. If we believe deep down that there is a downside to being our natural body size our brain is going to subconsciously stop us from getting to that goal. This showed up for me recently with a very sneaky belief that if I lose more weight I'll just be conforming to society's sexist ideal that women should be a certain body shape. I've heard other beliefs like "I'll be boring and people won't want to hang out with me", "I'll be unfaithful if I'm attractive" or even "I can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe".Could you have one of these sneaky limiting beliefs lurking in your subconscious mind?On today's episode we discuss some of the beliefs I've heard and I give a little exercise to help you discover any of your blockers to losing weight for the last time.I hope you enjoy this episode! Hating yourself thin.... has that really ever worked for anyone in the long term? Punishing ourselves with restrictive diets, feeling shame and guilt after eating foods we have deemed "bad", making strict rules to live by because we are apparently "so out of control". I've noticed these types of behaviours in so many women I've worked with, and myself. The thing is hating ourselves thin doesn't really last. If you're like me you've probably had an experience or two of punishing yourself to lose weight and exercising steely conviction that you'll get to that goal no matter what. But when we get to our goal and we still feel crap about ourselves it often leads to behaviour on the other extreme end of the spectrum. After restricting and punishing ourselves for so long so many women seem to go to the other extreme of giving it all up. They decide to eat anything, to eat intuitively, to avoid the scale because it makes them feel crap. To let their body "have what it needs" which is often really led by old compulsive eating or emotional eating habits. It seems like a very sensible approach: stop beating yourself up and be kind to yourself - throw out all the strict rules. But is it really kind to not pay any attention to where you're at with your health? To no pay attention to whether your body is getting enough fuel food for nourishment? To continue to eat our emotions? In this podcast we talk about:- my story of restriction and complete avoidance of my food and weight issues - how restricting and punishing ourselves may be coming from a place of self-hate or loathing - how not paying attention is just another expression of the same self-hate and loathing - a better way to lose weight: through acceptance, tolerance, contentment and even love for ourselves and our bodiesI hope you enjoy this episode! Fear of missing out..... So many of my clients tell me about their FOMO on their weight loss journey - I think it's something we all experience. Can you relate?Feeling it's unfair when your friends or family eat or drink something you've told yourself you can't?Feeling like you're not included when you don't drink wine or have a dessert at a restaurant; or evenFeeling longing at the sight of cake / chocolate / chips / your other favourites, and lamenting that you'll never eat it again (which, by the way, is a bullshit thought: because after all - who made that law?!)When we feel like we are missing out on our weight loss journey it can put us into a negative headspace, which risks us overeating and binging to relieve those negative feelings. And then, we feel shame and guilt. These emotions are the fertile soil for yet rollercoaster emotions and food binges. Here's what we are really missing out on when we stay in a FOMO Mindset: we miss out on the opportunity to practice being a new way around these foods, we miss out on taking another step towards our goal to be free of the food and diet mentality mind drama and if it is a social situation we often focus so much on our FOMO we don't even enjoy the experience of being present with our loved ones and nurturing our connection to them.In today's podcast episode we dive into this topic more and discuss:- the problematic nature and negative consequences of this type of mindset, - other opportunities to create a different mindset that allows you to enjoy the journey, and - how to create more awareness of these thoughts (which is the first step to changing them)I hope you enjoy this episode! We're coming out of lockdown slowly here in the UK, and I've noticed a lot of conversations recently about social eating. For people who have been on a weight loss journey, there's a lot of worry that they will "fall off the wagon" and overeat, then start up the bad habits of overeating again.Social situations are rich in cues and triggers to overeat. Consider all the smells and visuals of food around you, the unconscious habits that may have you reaching for the wine on the table without even thinking or the places that you may find yourself ordering a piece of cake without even thinking about it. And that's not even mentioning 'food pushers' (those lovely people who offer us food or drink, or the people who we often find we break our promises to ourself and eat off-plan).In today's episode we discuss:the problem with being focussed on how you've behaved around these foods before (past focussed)the triggers that you may find come up for you when you're eating out of the househow to plan for success before you go so you can stay on track and practice being a new way around these foods and peoplethe benefit of taking on a student or learners mindset to practice these new skillsWhat did you think? Have you ever felt powerless around certain foods?Have you ever experienced an overwhelming desire to lose yourself in binging a certain food?Do you find yourself craving your childhood favourites at times, not understanding why you do this?If you answered yes to any of these questions then today's podcast episode is for you. I've found a really interesting theme when I've been coaching with my clients this week. If you've listed to some of the older episodes of this podcast, you'll know I'm a big fan of the 'joy eat' - where you essentially eat whatever you want (and don't overeat) once a week to counteract the feelings of deprivation and restriction that can come with diet mentality. It's really interesting that a lot of resistance to this comes up with everyone (including myself, so I get it!). I've heard thoughts like I can't control myself around that food, I won't be able to stop eating or I'll undo all of my good work and put weight back on.It's so fascinating - after all most of the people I work with don't want to diet anymore, yet they don't trust themselves around this food!Joy eats are not just about counteracting deprivation and restriction. They are also about reconditioning our desire for these foods we over desire. They are about learning to be a different way around these foods so we can trust ourselves not to overeat. In today's episode we discuss:- the problem with avoiding these foods- the benefits of reconditioning our over desire for this food- how to use the tedious powerful exercise with a joy eat to slow yourself down and really get conscious around these foodsWhat did you think? I was surprised at a group event I attended online recently when people asked me if I help people lose weight with shakes, diet plans or an exercise regime. It reminded me that there are SO many types of weight loss services and coaching out there offering different approaches to weight loss. And, it also reminded me that THIS approach, actually working on our life while healing our relationship with food is so different from the usual diet and exercise programme. So, I felt inspired to record this podcast today. In this episode, I go deeper into life and weight loss coaching, and I discuss:What it's not: diet plans and shakes, accountability coaching on the action line or short term changes expecting long term results. What it is: about managing your mind and finding the right protocol you thrive on while creating and stepping into the new you: the version of yourself who is in her natural body size and maintains her weight easily.I hope you enjoy this episode! Have you ever set a goal and had a bit of a freakout?Maybe your brain responds with thoughts like “I can't possibly lose that much weight” or “what's the point, I never keep it off anyway”.Other times thoughts like even deeper can come up. I recently discovered a surprising belief system that was preventing me from taking inspired action towards my next big weight loss goal: a ranty feminist belief around women being objectified by men when they are slim and my rebellion against this!In this episode we'll discuss:how setting goals can show us what's really going on in our mind: the limiting beliefs and negative thinkingmy story of getting coaching through this belief system about not wanting to just ‘look pretty' for male gratificationhow working towards our goals is an amazing opportunity for personal development to become a person with a new level of resistance, confidence and compassion for yourselfCome on over to my website to have a listen. Could your weight be a symptom of something else going on in your life?Do you eat for stress relief?Do you eat to substitute the sensation of a warm hug?Do you eat to ease worry and anxiety?I've been reflecting on my own journey recently and really connecting the dots between transformations in my personal life and my weight loss success, and how this has also shown up in my clients' weight loss journeys. When things in your life aren't working and you find yourself stress or comfort eating to ease loneliness, anxiety, worry or sadness the foods you've allowed yourself on your diet just don't seem appealing. Why would you want to eat your salad when you're terrified you may not be able to pay the rent this month? Why would you reach for an apple when you realise you're not in the relationship with the person you thought you'd marry and you keep arguing? These are some personal examples of mine, I'm sure there are many that you can come up with too.As yo-yo dieters, when we focus solely on food and exercise these things are hard to stick to if our usual pattern of behaviour for stress relief or comfort is to reach for chocolate or nibble on crackers. This week on the podcast we are discussing:How other life areas can cause us to stress or comfort eatHow the narrow focus on food and exercise doesn't work in times of stress and upset in other areasI'm sharing my transformational journey since 2012 through coaching to pay off my debt and heal my relationship with money, transform my beliefs around relationships to get out and meet my fiancee and how I transitioned away from a job that I felt uninspired and stuck inI share how using the life wheel exercise can help to create awareness around the impact of these other areas, so we can start to heal what's not working and stop using food for stress relief or comfort.Head over to my website to download the Life Wheel Exercise mentioned in this episode. I've been reflecting on my weight loss journey recently and became aware of a few really common and persistent limiting beliefs about losing weight that just didn't serve me. Over more than 3 decades I yo-yo dieted and I couldn't understand why other people could be successful with diets but I couldn't. Over time I figured there must have been something wrong with me: a thyroid problem, another medical condition or maybe there was some truth in belief that weight gain is inevitable with age as your hormones change. When I started losing weight again and it actually started working I was shocked and it really rocked my world in terms of the beliefs I had created that felt so true. After 1 successful 6 week programme I lost 5-6kg (10-12lbs) and suddenly I realised what I had been thinking wasn't true. I could lose weight - I had the proof.I've realised over time that I had 3 persistent and insidious limiting beliefs that challenged me all through my weight loss journey (and still do sometimes!)- "I can't lose weight" - "Weight loss is hard" - "I won't be able to keep it off even if I do get to my goal weight"Now that I'm a weight loss coach these are also the 3 beliefs I see most commonly with my clients. The think-feel-act cycle teaches us that our actions and behaviours come from our emotions and thoughts. If we are thinking and believing these thoughts, we are failing ahead of time. We can't take continued successful action if we don't really believe its' going to work, and it's going to be hard, and we won't maintain our goal weight anyway. This week on the podcast we are focussing on:What I learned about beliefs from my 30+ years of yo yo dietingHow our limiting beliefs about weight loss make us fail before we have even startedThe 3 most common beliefs I've seen in my coaching practice around weight loss: I can't lose weight, weight loss is hard and I won't maintain my weight loss even if I do lose weight3 new thoughts to practice to create new beliefs: weight loss can be easy, weight loss can be fun, I can easily maintain my natural body weightHow to create new beliefs through journalling: ask yourself how it could be easy for you? how could it be fun? how could you learn to maintain your natural body weight?I'd love to hear your thoughts, leave a comment under the podcast episode on my website! https://keridwilliams.com/13-three-beliefs-to-fuel-weight-loss/
Have you ever wondered why you just can't lose weight? Why you keep trying diets again and again, and you can't quite stick to them? On the one hand you feel like you're searching for that perfect diet that you haven't discovered yet which you'll be happy to stay on forever, and on the other hand you might know deep down that you keep overeating but you don't really know how to stop.I get it, I've been there myself! In this two-part podcast series, I'm teaching two of the key concepts I share with my clients that will help them understand how to lose weight on the physical level (balancing hormones), and on the emotional level (behavioural patterns and emotional eating). This week we are focussing on the patterns of behaviour we keep repeating, and in this episode, we'll discuss:How we can feel desire to eat with certain triggers in our environmentHow these desires have become conditioned and unconscious over timeWhy these food cravings are not some mysterious and urgent wave you don't have control overThe tool to help you understand what's happening in your brain that drives you to overeat: the 30-minute pausePS - are you ready to lose weight? If you feel like you're ready to lose weight for the last time, then come over to the weight loss coaching page to check out the programme. Have you ever wondered why you're not losing weight? Does it seem like you plateau or gain weight no matter what you eat? Maybe you've started a new eating plan recently and didn't see any changes, so gave it up. All of this might leave you secretly wondering if you have a medical condition or a broken metabolism. Many women find this yo-yo dieting leaves them feeling incapable, like a failure and doomed to be overweight forever. Quite often when our hormones change in our 30s, 40s, or 50s it can feel even harder to lose weight. I get it, I've been there myself! In this two-part podcast series, I'm teaching two of the key concepts I share with my clients that will help them understand how to lose weight on the physical level (balancing hormones), and on the emotional level. This week we are focussing on the hormones, and in this episode, we'll discuss:It's not about how much you eat, it's about what you eatSugar adaptation vs fat adaptationThe role of hormones in weight lossHow to fuel your fat-burning and harness the power of foods that kick start your fat burningPS - are you ready to lose weight? Getting to grips with our thoughts, beliefs and unconscious habits is key to losing weight. Our actions of overeating are often driven by the thoughts, emotions, and habits that we have done so many times they've become ingrained and unconscious to us.The remedy for this? Making a plan with the part of your brain responsible for decisions and internal goals: the prefrontal cortex. Rather than being led by the primitive brain which can have us seeking pleasure, avoiding pain and conserving energy (therefore overeating!), we can decide in advance what we want to do that will help us create success, and track what we actually did.The more awareness we have around these thoughts, habits, and actions the more we can understand why we overeat and how we can change this permanently. In this episode we discuss:The problem with lack of awareness: unconscious habits, thoughts, and emotional overeatingThe power of planning and the primitive brain vs the prefrontal cortexThe benefits of tracking (you'll be twice as successful according to one study!)How to plan and track every day to bring more awarenessWhat do you think?I'd love to hear from you - what beliefs did you find from doing this exercise? Do you really just want to eat chocolate during Easter? Or maybe you find yourself pining for chocolate or another type of food that you can't imagine living without, and yet feel conflicted about eating it because you need to lose weight. Most of us have been here before, and when these thoughts strike it's easy to go back to diet mentality. We have been on so many diets before that have restricted us and made us feel deprived, so it's hard to imaging being able to eat chocoalte AND lose weight still. But it is possible! Do you believe it's possible to lose weight for good?Do you believe you can maintain your weight loss long term? No?How can you make your goal a reality if you don't believe it's really possible? Our thoughts are so powerful. After all, if you practice a thought enough times it becomes an ingrained belief that makes it seem like it's part of our reality. When I was a child I was told enough times by kids at school that I was fat. I believed it, and I also told myself that. I told myself that so many times over the decades that it became my reality: "I am fat". That made me feel depressed and shitty. And what did I do when I felt depressed and shitty? Comfort ate chocolate. Guess what result that action produced: weight gain! I inadvertently reinforced my own belief "I am fat (see it's true!)". The real truth? My shitty thoughts about myself appeared to be a fact, made me feel depressed, which drove my action to comfort eat chocolate which produced the result of the weight gain. Further reinforcing the belief. This is why our beliefs are so important when losing weight for the last time, we need to practice new thoughts, that produce new actions, and ultimately new results enough times so they become beliefs that serve us.In this episode we will discuss:- how to work out what beliefs you have that are driving your current actions- how to identify new thoughts that will produce different actions and results- how to practice this enough times so it becomes a new belief that's simply part of your realityWhat do you think?I'd love to hear from you - what beliefs did you find from doing this exercise?
