Zac and Ashley bring their heart and their wit to the table as they discuss what makes families tick. Drawing from their experience pastoring and counseling, along with what goes on in their own house, the two tackle everything from the most common issues in marriage, to the nuances of modern dating, to stewarding the next generation while honoring the last one. With the the conviction that God has surrounded each of us with vast resources in the form of people, Zac and Ashley interview families and individuals from their church and community who’s life experiences reflect triumph in the topic of the day. All this with the confidence that our Heavenly Father is the original Architect of the family, and with Him we can strengthen, renovate, and rebuild our homes if aligned and empowered by His Spirit and His Word.

The Our House: A to Z podcast is an incredibly engaging and entertaining show that combines humor with thought-provoking content. From the moment I started listening, I was hooked by the witty banter and relatable topics discussed by Zac and Darin Lenz. Their real-life answers to various questions and discussions on hot topics are refreshing and keep listeners coming back for more. What sets this podcast apart is that it goes beyond just providing laughs - it delves into the deeper meaning of righteousness in a fallen world, challenging listeners to think differently about what it means to live a righteous life. The values of HPC (House of Providence Church) shine through in every episode, showcasing the genuine love and dedication this family has for their faith. And let's not forget about Willa, the adorable little one who thanks listeners for tuning in - she adds an extra touch of sweetness to each episode.

One of the best aspects of The Our House: A to Z podcast is how honest and down-to-earth Zac and Darin are. They don't shy away from tackling real topics that people deal with on a daily basis, providing solid biblical guidance in a relatable way. Their wisdom is grounded in scripture, but they also offer practical advice that can be applied to everyday life. It's evident that they truly live out the values they talk about on the show, making their advice even more impactful.

In terms of drawbacks, there really aren't many to speak of when it comes to this podcast. If anything, some listeners may prefer a more structured format or longer episodes. However, the conversational style of Zac and Darin keeps things light-hearted and easy to listen to, making it accessible even for those who may not typically enjoy religious podcasts.

In conclusion, The Our House: A to Z podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking solid biblical guidance with a touch of humor. Zac and Darin Lenz are a dynamic duo who bring real-life experiences and wisdom to the table, tackling important topics in a relatable way. Their love for God and genuine desire to help others is evident in every episode, making this podcast both enjoyable and enriching. Whether you're looking for answers to life's big questions or simply need a good laugh, The Our House: A to Z podcast has you covered.

The 4-Week Marriage Intensive has concluded but the recaps continue in this and the next episode... In fact, here's a little tease for next week: The title is "Sex and Money... but Mostly Money"... ya catch my drift? What more can I say, although I will say this, how annoying is it that you can't use an ampersand in podcast titles? It's 2025, how has this issue not been resolved?  You put an "&" and do you see that?  That's supposed to be an ampersand, but instead it's madness... and how many listeners could spell "ampersand" without consulting google or siri or regina or jamie, or whatever AI assistant you use. Not only is it one of the 10 Commandments, but "Thou Shalt Not Lie" is also the lesson taught in the first episode of the late 80's, early 90's hit series "McGee and Me" which tells the story of the Martin family moving in with Grandma Martin, a sweet old lady who lives in Eastfield's suburbia.  Being new to the neighborhood, the middle-child, Nicholas Martin, or simply known as Nick, wants to make a first good impression, and by doing so, lies about a strange neighbor of his, much to the dismay of Nick's animated cartoon sidekick 'McGee', Nick's lie only temporarily makes him a hero, but in the end, leaves him feeling guilty - especially after his grandmother tells him about how the strange native-american is actually a caretaker for injured animals. It all works out in the end, like every Foucs on the Family presentation does, but if you don't remember this, are you even saved?
