Human Design is a system that needs to be experienced. You don't have to believe it, you can just try it for yourself and experience it. Let's listen in to how different types of people experience their Human Design. In this episode, Sharon and I interviewed Maggie - who is a mental projector. Listen to how Human Design has changed her life significantly. Follow Sharon in IG: @therapybysharon Follow Jovan in IG: @jovanmedrano
After 6 episodes of explaining the different facets of the fundamentals things you need to know about the Human Design system, let's take a moment to go thru all of it again and refresh what you have learned. In this episode, we will review what we have shared from episode 1-6. Covering the Human Design centers up to the Human Design profiles.
There are 12 profiles in the Human Design system, which is the combination of the 6 horizontal lines of the hexagram from I Ching. In this episodes, we discussed each of the 6 profiles: 1 - Investigator; 2 - Hermit; 3 - Martyr; 4 - Opportunist; 5 - Heretic; and 6 - Role Model. Jovan is a 3/6, a Martyr - Role Model. And Sharon is a 6/2, Role Model - Hermit. What's yours?
Now that you know your "Energy Type", it's time to fully understand how you can make better decisions in life based on your design. Other than the Manifestor, all other types need to wait before making a decision. And each type has to wait differently. These are the Strategies: Generators & Manifesting Generators need to wait to respond, Manifestors need to inform, Projectors need to wait for the invitation, and Reflectors need to wait for the lunar cycle. After your Strategy, comes your Authority, the way for you to make your decisions. There are about 7 Authority types and we, me and Sharon, talked about 5 of them. Listen to understand more of yourself!
After learning about the foundations and the 9 Centers from the past episodes, now it's time to go into the fun stuff... the "Human Design Energy Types"! Get to know what it means to be one of the 5 types - a Generator, a Manifestor, a Manifesting Generator, a Projector, or a Reflector. Your energy type is a great place to start understanding how you can live by your design. Excited?! Lesgo!
Like the Indian chakra system, Human Design has 9 energy centers plotted on our body. Each center can be either "defined" or "open" and has its unique implications in our life. A defined center (or colored) means that the energy from that center is fixed or consistent. Whereas an open center (or white) means that the energy from that center is attracted to inside and then amplified; and this is not experienced consistently. Join Jovan and Sharon, as they start to go deeper into the wonderful system called Human Design. More about the hosts: www.jovanmedrano.com www.therapybysharon.com

(among other questions)I actually had fun sharing my answers and adding some valuable life lessons too. This is the last episode for Possibilities Show Season 2... See you next year!
Probably the most inspirational person that I've met and interviewed in the show, Nathanael Zurbruegg had to struggle and endure an incurable chronic illness for most of his life. The culture of "work-like-mad to succeed" is very toxic. Many years ago, I worked 16 hours per day every day and sleep lesser than my competitors. They said that's the path to success. And it did progress my business fast but I burned out really bad! So I had to recover from the burn out for quite some time and in the end, it affected my business anyway. What I learned from that and from other long term successful people, is the power of Self-Love.Our guest in this episode, Dr. Rain Annie Lim, is a serial entrepreneur, spiritual leader, speaker, coach, and intuitive healer. She shared how she created an amazing life with lots of possibilities by practicing self-love.She also shared some powerful tips and tools that you can immediately do to improve your practice of self-love. Definitely super useful. This episode is probably the most fun conversation that I had. It's probably because of the topic - PURPOSE.Just like you, I'm very interested and been asking the same question for quite some time now: "What's my purpose?"Misty Sansom has a wonderful energy about her and she's very authentic. Her calling started at a young age... although she didn't know then what it is exactly yet. But through her journey of trying out different things, and continuous reflection and introspection, she got the message and her life mission. Which is to help other people find their life purpose. In this episode, she shares the exact process she goes thru with her clients - step by step. So make sure to bring out your pen and paper and take notes!Enjoy, learn and apply!
Diamonds are created through intense heat and pressure. And that's how I can describe Nick Savery - a diamond amongst us and just a beautiful human being.Nick was kicked out of school when he was just 15 years old and became a factory worker after. With his desire, hard work, and discipline he became successful. But this didn't last and he lost everything.Coming out of those struggles and from his own self demons, he became a new man. He's now a transformation coach and wants to help and serve as many people as he can.Check out his amazing journey and stories.
George Carroll is someone I met many years ago and have been someone I looked up to as a speaker and entrepreneur. And in our conversation, I'm surprised to learn what he had gone through, (from a career-destroying sports injury to becoming bankrupt and homeless) in order to go for his dreams. Very inspiring! He also shared some amazing lessons he learned and some techniques you can use to get yourself in a very good state. Building a business is one of the greatest "personal development programs" that you can ever be on. That's what I believe. Our guest in this episode shared a different perspective on building his business (a bakery cafe in JB, Malaysia). The first time I met Jim, I thought of him as a very friendly and playful guy. He's definitely fun to be with. And during this interview and hearing his stories, I learned that each of us has our own journey. He also experienced failure and at some point wanted to be and do more with his life.I can also relate to him when he compares himself to his peers, like how they've achieved more at this point in their lives whereas he's still building up his startup business.Such fascinating stories we can learn from each other. You can get in touch with Jim here: https://www.facebook.com/TradeHeadHunter
Rachel reminded me of the reason why I started this podcast, which is to inspire people to look at what else is possible in their lives. Rachel worked in the banking industry for over 20 years and was very happy (and successful)... and yet she had this little voice asking herself: “Hey, are you really gonna do this for the rest of your life? Is this all there is to your career?”After attending personal development courses, she opened up her awareness and gained new perspectives in life. She then decided to leverage her experience and knowledge in finance with her skills in NLP coaching, to start her own coaching business - Expense Concierge Solution (www.expenseconciergesolution.com)Now she helps people in the area of finance and customizes each solution for her clients' needs.
