The first step to developing a winning mindset is to train your subconscious to think successfully. You may think that this sounds an extremely difficult or even impossible thing to do.After all, your subconscious has had years of programming. But it is possible if you use the right techniques and put in consistent effort. If you're subconscious believes that you are no good at making money then when you think about making money it will fire off the appropriate neurons and release specific neurotransmitters. The result of this is that you will experience a thought in your head something like “you have never been any good at making money so don't waste your time”. Have you ever had thoughts like this? Of course you have – we all have.To develop a winning mindset you have to change your subconscious programming so that you experience different thoughts. The reason why most people do not change the way that their subconscious minds are programmed is because it takes effort and consistency. It's much easier to sit on the couch watching meaningless TV and eating Ice cream and chips!#mindflow #mindset #winning #win #inspire #women #podcast #coachSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/straight-talk-no-sugar-added-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Letting go of our past does not mean we need to ignore it. Removing false labels doesn't mean we pretend that the pain of what was said and done never happened. It is the reality of what happened or is happening to us now. It's helped shaped who we are today, positively and negatively. It's like the Rules of Visual Composition. Positive space refers to the main focus of a picture, while negative space refers to the background. When used creatively and intelligently, positive and negative space together can tell a story using visual composition alone. It's like the two negative spaces that look like faces looking at each-other or the white in the center that looks like a vase. Are you the type of person that knows what you want to do, but doesn't do anything about it Or do you do exactly what you like to do?  Do you even like what you are doing? Life is short is this worth it. Do you like what you do full-time or do you try to do what you like on the side? For many years I felt this way. Purposeless life can be so frustrating. I was reading an article on psychology today that said; Deception is rampant—and sometimes we tell the biggest lies to those we love most. I have an ex who fits this description perfectly. In fact, I'll venture to say he has a condition of pathological lying. It's so super difficult to navigate a relationship with people when all they do is lie to you about everything and about who they really are, or you lie to them. It's like sleeping with the enemy and now knowing it.  Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/straight-talk-no-sugar-added-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Wait to get healthy, wait to change to that new career we've been wanting, wait to have a relationship with God, with others, wait to get married, wait to have kids, wait for the right moment or opportunity, waiting for the big break, wait, wait wait…. Do we ‘wait' ourselves out of time? I had many things done to me and because of what was done I made poor decisions in my life but now that I've let it go by forgiving my life has moved forward in a positive direction.    Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/straight-talk-no-sugar-added-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Are you white knuckling it so you can be right? Just holding onto dear life to unforgiveness, anger, frustration, things in life that are holding you back but you are refusing to let it go?You are going to white knuckle this thing till the end. That's just such a BS way of thinking. When you open up your hands at the end of the day, they will be empty, you need to consider opening up your hands and releasing all of the stuff that is holding you back, your old mindset, your unwillingness to do things a little bit differently, your bitterness towards others, unforgiveness towards others or towards yourself. That way of thinking is holding you back more than you know. I was praying recently at a memorial for our lost loved ones and I often think about how because of my faith I know I will see them again and that brings me comfort. But then I thought about what about those we leave behind? What will they say about the Dash in-between our two dates? I know for certain I don't want it to be about how I died and how sad that is. I want it to be about how I lived. How did I affect you? How did I befriend you? What was my reputation on this earth? Sometimes we create them in our lives, because we believe it's our truth. For example, growing up I was always call chubby or fat. But at the age of 18 even after having my son I was a size 8. I always felt fat though. I started to not care because I said well it doesn't matter I'm fat anyway. I was in a very abusive relationship that filled me with lies and fears that became my truths. Now I have to say for the last 20 years or so I have struggled with my weight. And I am overweight. But what if I didn't believe there lie? What if I would've said I am healthy and strong? What I have taken a different approach. What I maybe have worked out more since I used to like working out? What I have eaten better? As Chief of Police in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 2006, he co-developed a task force that employed a systems approach to address crime and educational failures of Latino students. Fitchburg was experiencing a higher murder rate per capita than the City of Boston (mostly within the Latino community) and a high school dropout rate for Latino students of over 40%. His ground-breaking work brought the police, minority community and the greater community at large together to engage in a process that identified the root causes as systemic racism, mostly unconscious, and lack of economic opportunities for at risk youth.https://justpolicing.org/This effort refocused the community to address these complex issues that eventually brought about systemic and political change in his City. These efforts were followed up by excellent and progressive future political and police leadership. Today the City of Fitchburg experienced one murder in 2021 and a Latino dropout rate of less than 8%.Please LIKE

Don't forget to subscribe!! What is Integrity anyway? In short, it's doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Do you have integrity? Do you often give it up to please others or make your life “easy”? I think we can lose our integrity when people come against us and we decide to get even. When we know we shouldn't be doing something but we convince ourselves it's ok just this once When we know someone is not good for us but we will settle for the lower standard and keep the peace. When we think a small white lie won't hurt. (guys, a lie is a lie) When we don't do our jobs to the best of our abilities When we treat others as if they are not worth anything When we manipulate to get our way Or tell people what they want to hear even if it's not true. You are not honest and that is a fail on integrity.
