In addition to this established work style, the society of the spectacle we live in requires a passive attitude from the audience, comfortably seated on a couch. The negative side of a comfortable and entertaining life is sedentarism, eating disorders, poorly shaped bodies, and tons of magical recipes to lose weight. But the answer is not in miraculous techniques but in modifying our lifestyle, reframing the kind of people we want to be. In this episode, I had a wonderful conversation with Nate Palmer, Trainer, Public Speaker, Fat Loss Ninja, and author of two published books, Passport Fitness, and The Million Dollar Body Method. We talked about the reasons why people find it hard to lose weight and to get in shape. He shared his unique perspective on tackling this from a different angle, reframing who we are. He kindly shared his top three tips for starting significant change and his viewpoint about carbohydrate consumption.
