A Manhattan judge ruled that the businessman greatly exaggerated the value of his wealth to secure favorable terms with banks, which ultimately led him to worldwide fame — and into the White House.“The decision today is a final decision that fraud is proven, The judge made this decision on the basis of Trump's own documents. The evidence is Trump's own documentation,” Andrew P. Napolitano, former New Jersey Superior Court judge and friend of Trump's, told The Post.“These are indisputable facts — the case is based entirely on the documents his lenders and his insurance companies produced.”The 2024 presidential frontrunner will likely appeal the ruling, which could cost him upward of $250 million in penalties that James is requesting — a hefty lift for the less-than-liquid Republican. Trump could potentially have to sell off his assets in order to pay the lofty legal fees, which could hurt his ego more than his pockets, a source familiar with the former president said.

So wrote Arthur Engoron, a New York State judge, in an unexpected ruling late yesterday that threatens the heart of Donald Trump's business empire. Engoron was referring in particular to arguments offered by the former president's attorneys in the case, but his words describe many of the details of the case—such as the valuations of Trump's properties and even the square footage he claimed they contained, both of which the court found were “clearly” fraudulent. Much of the reputation Trump cultivated as a business mogul was built on lies. The surprise is not that Trump and his co-defendants, including his sons Donald Jr. and Eric, committed fraud. What is surprising is that he could finally be punished for it—and quite harshly. The scheme that New York Attorney General Letitia James alleged last year was simple. When Trump wanted to lower his taxes, he'd claim a low valuation for a property. When he wanted to get cheap loans, he would inflate the valuation. This allowed him to inflate his claimed net worth each year, which let him obtain loans on better terms by personally guaranteeing them. Evidence of this pattern had already turned up in reporting, especially by WNYC and ProPublica, and James's case offered much more.

Podapalooza is back. Kim spent a day at this awesome podcast conference where she got to do some shorter interviews with experts she felt would be beneficial to you.

Let go is 2 simple words, but never simple to apply it.  Three main reasons WHY we experience difficulty to let go: We believe that the past is better than the present or future. We would rather living in the past vs present. We use the past to justify a current condition and can't figure out how to let go.  False self-limiting belief. We don't trust our ability. We are afraid that you will not find anybody else because of all past experiences. Our brain tells us that remember all the rejection you have before… You are not good enough, you are not attractive enough… Then we use these stories to make excuses why we should continue to hold on to things. We need CERTAINTY. Human nature often wants to know that certain things will happen. We have been conditioned to avoid any bad surprises or unknown. If we move on from current things, we will experience too much of UNCERTAINTY, and that's why many people would rather stick with old things so they can avoid uncertainty. ACTION STEP: Trust yourself. Trust your ability. Look at your past history. You have overcome many challenges that you thought you couldn't, but you eventually did, and this time will not be any different. I know uncertainty is scary and it fills your thoughts with all bad scenarios. However, it also offers many opportunities that could change your life for the better. So trust that you can overcome any obstacle.  Change your old beliefs. In order to change your old beliefs, you must replace them with new beliefs. And the only way to form new beliefs is to take CONSISTENT ACTION UNTIL YOU SUCCEED.  Take responsibility. Stop blaming others for what happened in your past. Yes it could be their fault as well. But who would guarantee your life would have been different if things went the way you expected. So take responsibility and embrace lessons learned.  Gratitude - When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears. Forgive other people. I know it's not easy, but it will free you from all anger and resentment. When you are grateful for everything that happened, you grow as a new person and it will be easier for you to move on to the next best things in your life. Everyday is a new day and you will never find happiness if you don't move on. Let the past behind. The present and future are waiting for you. Closed that When you live in the past, it will only end up hurting you. Let the past go and start opening your arms for new opportunities.
