Supreme Court looking into birthright citizenship. This might not be ruled on until June, which is gonna be here before you know it exactly. But all of these Democrats, they're if you wanna find out what a constitutional amendment really means, the best way to do that is go and look at the at what the people that wrote it said about it. In this case, it's senator Jacob Howard. He was one of the people that authored the fourteenth amendment back in 1866. And this is one of those topics that everybody on the left that they love, oh, we go we're gonna change hundreds of years of law and blah blah blah blah blah. But we're not. What has actually happened was the Democrats have used the fourteenth amendment incorrectly for this amount of time. When you go back and you ex look exactly what Jacob Howard said about the fourteenth amendment, I don't think he stuttered on this thing. Not at all. Let's go right now to Deese, Kalen. He is with the, Washington Examiner. Deese Kalen Deese, Kalen, how are you? Hi. Thanks for having me on. Great to be with you. Alright. So all of this really goes back to senator Jacob Howard, one of the authors of the fourteenth amendment. What do you think the Supreme Court really wants to hear about during these arguments? So the Supreme Court today was very much interested in hearing more about the arguments of bringing, more of a, regulation to nationwide injunctions rather than the fourteenth amendment itself. Mhmm. And I think that that was sort of the issue today is that it was a very double barreled, court case. There was that temptation to talk about the origins of the fourteenth amendment and whether it confers the right to birthright citizenship. But at the same time, that wasn't really the task at hand. And I think that that was something that made, for more confusion as to what the justices are ultimately gonna decide with this case whenever they issue a ruling perhaps in the next couple of weeks. And I think that from what we gathered today, there was definitely more, I would say, Democratic appointed justices that were interested in talking about the actual birthright, executive order that president Trump has put in place. And and and if and if you're listening to their words intently enough, then you might come away from it thinking, well, this executive order seems to maybe have a pretty steep chance of passing their muster. But I would also put the caveat where the Republican appointed justices were not really entertaining any parts of the merits of that executive order. So it kind of created a, an unfair, you know, balance where it seemed like there was more negative attention going toward the executive order whenever that wasn't even the issue that they had to deal with before them. Now I know Ketanji Brown Jackson. She said was she was in favor of these lower courts issuing their orders because that way, the administration would have to go to the Supreme Court quicker. Yeah. It seemed like that that was sort of the idea that the Supreme Court could handle this, in the way that that from from her perspective that the Supreme Court could continue to handle these cases in the way that things are going. But, obviously, we saw that with this case, it became a special oral argument session, in the May, which you know, are they going to do that for every single controversial, you know, alleged controversial executive order that is going to, you know, get stalled by a lower court judge? I mean, the fact of the matter is is that one of the things that was brought up and, rightfully noted is that, you know, nationwide injunctions really weren't popularized until the nineteen sixties, the 1963 case at the DC, circuit court. So I think that, you know, we've seen a steady pattern even in administrations before Trump where lower court judges have progressively begun to, you know, take, you know, stiff aim at the powers of, of of executive authority. The United States is grappling with two of the biggest challenges it has ever faced: the rise of China and the threat of catastrophic climate change. At home, the Biden administration has forged a green industrial policy that could transform the U.S. economy. But as China threatens to dominate the global market for clean energy, it is not enough to invest domestically, Brian Deese argues in a new Foreign Affairs essay. Deese has been at the center of climate and economic policymaking for over a decade. He served as the director of the National Economic Council in the Biden administration, where he was one of the key architects behind the Inflation Reduction Act. During the Obama years, he helped lead the auto bailout and negotiate the Paris agreement on climate change. Now, he has a plan for the United States to lead the global energy transition on its own terms.

If you live in the Red Hills of Southwest Georgia, you probably know Russell Deese. If you don't know him, you've probably seen his restored military vehicles around town. Ironically, Russell restores old vehicles that most people would leave in the junkyard. His wife brings new life to stray dogs that are often dumped at trash heaps. Nicole Deese is one of those people I would love to hang out with. Our two extroverted selves would have too much fun catching up on all things life and writing. Until we can actually do that, recording Book Talk episodes is a fun way to connect and welcome you into the fun. Today's chapter of Book Talk is a delightful way to let you experience all the joy and delight that is Nicole Deese. Nicole's latest novel, The Roads We Follow, is a contemporary romance with a cross-country flair. We talked about everything from when to share the truth to how hilarious it is that someone so bad at directions was plotting a road trip book. We also talked about how it's a gift to our writing selves to give our author selves an outline to the midpoint so that we can write fast. She shares so much wonderful wisdom as she pulls back the curtain on writing, that I had a hard time stopping the episode. Join Flood and returning guest Aaron Deese to talk about his journey as an author and his new book, Hunting Grounds: Dogmen of the Lakes from Small Town Monsters Publishing! From the Press Release: Hunting Grounds: Dogmen of The Lakes examines strange canines in Tennessee and Kentucky. Chilling new book explores the truth behind the Massacre of the Land Between the Lakes. Massillon, OH - A new book takes a deep dive into the strange and unsolved phenomena of the Land Between the Lakes. In Aaron Deese's follow up to The Texas Dogman Triangle, new light is shed on a decades-old tale. The Land Between the Lakes is the largest inland peninsula in the United States. Situated on the Tennessee/Kentucky border, the national recreational area is home to over 170,000 acres, and is a prime location for campers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. It has been since the 1960s, when the federal government displaced thousands of American citizens from what was then known as the Land Between the Rivers. It is also the home of endless campfire stories, whispered rumors and urban legends. Rumblings of hauntings, mysterious deaths and even Bigfoot sightings abound in the Land Between the Lakes. Another creature - one far darker and more dangerous than the rest - is also said to haunt the shadowed forests and intertwining gulleys. Since the 1980s a frightening saga has circulated by word of mouth, of a horrific massacre at the claws and teeth of what is often described as a werewolf. Or, as some call them, Dogman. Aaron Deese is joined by Shannon LeGro on a literal trip into the wolf's den to interview witnesses and researchers - including a man who claims to have witnessed the massacre. Deese and LeGro put boots on the ground in the LBL and visit the location of the massacre first hand, all while attempting to uncover the truth behind this strange and disturbing tale. Featuring interviews not previously available elsewhere and commentary by a battery of researchers, Hunting Grounds: Dogmen of The Lakes examines the “Massacre of the Land Between the Lakes” like never before, while tracing the history and legacy of the werewolf from its ancient roots to modern day sightings around the world. Hunting Grounds is a companion to the forthcoming documentary Dogman Territory: Werewolves in the Land Between the Lakes, slated for release in 2024. Author: Aaron is a San Antonio, Texas based author and content producer with Small Town Monsters. When he's not chasing werewolves he enjoys books, cartoons, video games, podcasting and nunchucks. Aaron lives with his wife Sara (with whom he hosts the podcast Hey Strangeness) and son Ezra along with way too many cats near the Alamo. # # # Hunting Grounds: Dogmen of The Lakes by Aaron Deese; Small Town Monsters Publishing; Nonfiction; Adventure /History/Folklore/ Cryptozoology/Paranormal; paperback and digital formats; Availability: Amazon.com and smalltownmonsters.com Preorder April 9th, 2024 on amazon and smalltownmonsters.com , release date April 23rd, 2024 on amazon and smalltownmonsters.com AARON DEESE https://www.heystrangeness.com/ SMALL TOWN MONSTERS https://www.smalltownmonsters.com/ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/minervamonster/small-town-monsters-bigfoot-ufos-dogman-and-goatman EX V PLANIS https://www.exvplanis.com https://linktr.ee/Exvplanis https://foldsandfloods.bandcamp.com GNOOOOOOMES!!!! https://drive.google.com/file/d/195HxoExR94QYOsizgPmJNnWqgE1AuuRi/view?usp=sharing

Darkness Radio presents The Texas Dogman Triangle, Texas Terror Dogs & Other Monsters with Paranormal Researcher/Author, Aaron Deese! Texas is a vast land of history and legend. For centuries the state has been saturated in folklore and mythology, and contains its fair share of ghosts, UFOs, conspiracies and buried treasure. It is also the home of monsters. For over 100 years Texas has played host to encounters with upright walking canines - werewolves, or as they are now often called, Dogmen. In 2021 a pattern seemed to emerge, giving rise to what some now call the Texas Dogman Triangle. Are these creatures real, or imaginative hysteria? Urban legend, or unidentified animal? Biological anomalies or spectral horrors beyond our comprehension? That depends on who you ask. Welcome to the Lone Star State. Welcome to the Texas Dogman Triangle. On today's show, Aaron Deese joins us to talk about the incredible creatures that exists in this amazing area of the southern U.S., and splits some fine hairs on some of the actual phenomena taking place in the area! Chupacabra is back in the news with the recent Netflix movie, CHUPA. There are various depictions of this misunderstood cryptid within folklore and pop culture. The initial sightings described it as a demonoid blood feeder or sucker with red eyes and leather wings. It would fly and attack chickens and feed on the blood of goats. Some regard it as a swamp creature that looks like a wild dog. The Latino version of the Chupacabra appears to be more like a Skinwalker or Dogman. Perhaps this mythological creature is the "demon of the abyss" that has been spoken of for centuries. In a "communique" posted to Rose City Counter-Info on January 31, the group stated that the vandalism, carried out by "disabled anarchists," targeted the Worker’s Tap because of "how this bar inherently operates with unmitigated COVID spread." "In the early hours of January 29th, some disabled anarchist attacked Worker’s Tap by tagging it and damaging a window. Due to the bullet-proof glass, the window’s damage would only consist of small dents," the statement read. The group said that phrases and symbols like the anarchist "A," and "161" which calls out "that it was fascists forces whom originally paved the path of COVID as a genocide since April 2020 through the blood of primarily Black and Indigenous disabled people, a road of bones which now many liberals and ableist anarchists goose-stomp on in collaboration with the fascists to maintain a “normal” for keeping bars and other viral-friendly entertainment operating at the expense of disabled lives." Additionally, the bar was tagged with "Covid Kills!" twice "to address how this bar inherently operates with unmitigated COVID spread, murdering disabled people in the process." The statement continued on to say that the act was carried out in "retaliation" to the "event organizers in the anarchist scene who contribute to the COVID pandemic by organizing super-spreader gatherings that, in the end, lead to more disabled people dying." In Multnomah County, where Portland is located, the number of new Covid-19 cases has remained under 1,000 since July. The most recent data shows that in the last full week of January, there were just 275 cases. 31 of those cases required hospitalization. This is down from a spike seen over the summer, with 3,180 cases recorded, and dramatically lower than the omicron spike seen last winter, with 11,373 cases being recorded at its peak, according to county data. The Worker’s Tap, the bar targeted by the vandalism, is a worker-owned and operated beer bar in Portland, Oregon. The bar required proof of vaccination to enter the establishment. According to its website, "Our business is run democratically and profits are split amongst our members." https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-ilhan-omar-removed-from-foreign-affairs-committee?utm_campaign=64487 Ilhan Omar REMOVED from Foreign Affairs Committee On Thursday, Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar, who has a long history of anti-Semitic remarks, was removed from her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee in a 218 to 2011 party-line vote. Fox News Correspondent Chad Pergram tweeted, "The House has voted to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from the Foreign Affairs Committee. The vote was 218 to 211 with one member voting 'present.' In November, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he intended to remove Omar due to her history of antisemitic comments. Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries acknowledged this history on Thursday and said, "Rep. Omar certainly has made mistakes. She has used antisemitic tropes." Omer was elected to Congress in 2018, and in her long history of using antisemitic tropes has compared the boycotting of the Jewish state of Israel to the boycotting of Nazis. A move to remove Omar began in 2021 after the Democrat-led Congress removed GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a press conference that the removal was a "political stunt" and a "disservice to the American people." https://twitter.com/i/status/1621214664901230597 - Play Video New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said on the House floor "this is about targeting women of color" and slammed her notepad on the lecturn. https://twitter.com/i/status/1621213643860807682 - Play Video https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2023/02/02/bidens-top-economic-advisor-is-bailing-n2619074 Not only is Omar out, but Biden's Top Economic Advisor Is Out President Joe Biden announced Thursday morning his top economic advisor, Brian Deese, is leaving his position at the White House. Deese served as Biden's National Economic Council Director since taking office in January 2021. Deese's departure comes as economists warn the U.S. is headed into a recession this year. As the head of the NEC, Deese repeatedly claimed Biden's inflation crisis was transitory and advocated for massive federal government spending by Democrats. The inmate, who was known as Thomas Lamb, was convicted of kidnapping and killing a young woman in 1969 and kidnapping a second woman in 1970, according to News13. In 2007, Thomas Lamb changed his name to “Michelle.” In the years that followed, Lamb reportedly requested to be moved to a women’s facility. This request, however, was denied. But, records obtained by News13 show that Lamb was moved to a women’s prison this month (via News 13): In 2017, a U.S. District Court ruled against Lamb in a lawsuit asking the state to transfer HIM to an all-female facility, and allow him to pursue gender re-assignment surgery. An Appeals Court upheld the ruling in 2018, stating that, although it was not the treatment Lamb might want, evidence showed he was being provided treatment for gender dysphoria, and the state was not showing “deliberate indifference” to his situation. However, Kansas Dept. of Corrections records show he was transferred Jan. 27 to Topeka Correctional Facility. While it is not known if Lamb will now be allowed to go forward with the gender reassignment surgery, 13 NEWS asked KDOC public affairs director Randall Bowman whether the state would pay for the procedure if he did. Bowman would not comment on Lamb’s case specifically. “Healthcare decisions are not made by KDOC officials,” Bowman said. “Due to patient privacy concerns, KDOC and the Governor’s Office cannot comment on the specifics of medical care for any one individual.” Redballoon Not so long ago, the American dream was alive and well. His accolades are so far-reaching that his name fills the record books. He leaves the game as its all-time leader in completions (7,753), yards (89, 214), and touchdowns (649). After winning six titles playing for Coach Bill Belichick in New England, Brady mulled retirement before signing with Tampa Bay in 2020. He would go on to win his seventh Super Bowl in his first year for the Buccaneers. There, he would be reunited with his old Patriot partner in crime, Rob Gronkowski. Unfortunately for Brady and the Bucs, the last two seasons have been a bit of a downward spiral. They captured the woeful NFC South. But at 8-9, they didn’t look like they had a prayer of advancing in the postseason. They were bounced by the Dallas Cowboys in the opening round, 31-14, the team looked old and tired, even their forever-young signal caller. Tom Brady on 2022 Season, Thanks Bucs Fans Following FINAL Game | Postgame Press Conference Play 3:55-4:28 Brady certainly was no slouch during the regular season. He still threw for threw for 4694 yards and 25 touchdowns. However, he already (half-heartedly) put off retirement last year to return for one more round. He famously announced he was quitting, had a flirtation with joining the Miami Dolphins organization, and then finally acquiesced to returning to Tampa for 2022. But the fatigue and frustration were already there. And the whispers grew into full-fledged gossip as the season progressed: This looked more and more like it was Tom Brady’s final season. At least in Tampa. Now, he’s confirmed that he won’t be playing for anyone in 2023. Brady is, as he puts it into his own words, retiring “for good” this time. In his farewell video, the future NFL Hall of Famer was (as usual) reserved and reminiscent. Like so many of his famous fourth-quarter comebacks, he tried to stay calm and cool in the moment. Still, Tom Brady couldn’t hide a hint of emotion as he bid farewell to those who helped him on his epic journey. Tom Brady announces his retirement
THE THESIS: It's not our money or our loyalty they really crave, The Party wants us to deny ourselves and take up their burden daily. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: God made us in His image.Genesis 1:2727 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. That means we stand alone in all God's creation as the only of His work made in His image. What does that mean for what God thinks of us and, consequently, expects from us? The New International Version says it this way:Ephesians 2:1010 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.Other translations say a differently: King James VersionEphesians 2:1010 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.New Living TranslationEphesians 2:1010 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. What Does It Mean to Deny Yourself and Take Up Your Cross?THE NEWS & COMMENT:What were the truckers defending, that SO offended The Party? Washington pressed Ottawa to shut down 'Freedom Convoy' blockades; Testimony reveals that Biden, Buttigieg and White House adviser Deese urged counterparts in Canada to resolve crisis.. . . was it “just” their jobs, “just” their ability to feed their families, “just” their bodily autonomy? [AUDIO] - Trudeau says he feels “serene and confident” over decision to freeze protesters' bank accountsHe said “it worked.” The ends, then, justified the means. But, again I ask: what were the truckers defending and for what did they risk it all? They fought for their HUMANITY. The truckers refused to deny their own worth, their own humanity. From us--the Bitter Clingers, The Deplorables, The Vulgars--The Party will only “love” us when we deny that we are made in the image of God and, as such, we must treat one another as the Lord describes. But, what about members of The Party? How do they gain the “love” of The Party? Do they buy it? Sam Bankman-Fried Said He Would Give Away Billions. Broken Promises Are All That's Left. The FTX founder pledged to donate billions. Afterall, The Party doesn't really NEED money:Pentagon fails to pass new financial audit, unable to account for over $2 trillion in assets; As Washington's yearly defense budget hurtles towards the $1 trillion mark, the DoD continues to operate with little to no oversight of its spending practicesWhat The Party wants on their members is that they ALSO deny their humanity. But, unlike The Deplorables, Bitter Clingers and The Vulgars, The Party wants its members to think of themselves as gods.
