Madison Brodsky is an entertainment journalist with over 20,000 devoted followers across her social media platforms. The inspiring red carpet correspondent is a force both on-camera and off, but her stunning success wasn't necessarily an easy path. The small town girl started her career without a single “in” into the industry, but her love affair with the glamor of Hollywood motivated her to achieve her one in a million dream.Ever since Madison was a little girl, she always loved entertainment news. Award shows quickly became her Super Bowl, and she looked forward to getting cozy in her pajamas to watch each and every red carpet with her favorite pair of dazzling toddler heels to pretend she was interviewing whichever celebrity stepped onto her make believe stage, where a TV was conveniently placed. It may sound naive, but at that point in time, Madison didn't realize she could actually make television for a living. The job description just seemed too good to be true; so whenever an adult asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, Madison always replied, “Anything that would give me the time to volunteer to hear celebrities' stories at various red carpets.” Once Madison realized she could get paid for such a career choice, she went to the University of Arizona and double majored in journalism and film and TV.In an effort to be as well-rounded as possible, Madison completed 12 internships throughout her three years at her University. Those experiences, in addition to her former position at TMZ and Entertainment Tonight, led her to become one of the most sought after red carpet correspondents in today's crowded industry. Madison excels at interviewing the stars during mega-events and she's no stranger to breaking Hollywood scoop, all while having fun with A-list celebrities, who consider her a professional friend. Our Sponsors:* Check out Kinsta: https://kinsta.com* Check out Mint Mobile: https://mintmobile.com/tmf* Check out Moorings: https://moorings.com* Check out Trust & Will: https://trustandwill.com/TRAVIS* Check out Warby Parker: https://warbyparker.com/travisAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Here we are with Lauren Castro. She is an entertainment journalist, writer and social media specialist for Texas Monthly. She knew that she wanted to be a writer before she got to college. She genuinely enjoys learning from others and what their passions may be, how they got to where they are, what makes them tick, etc. She loves storytelling and everything that goes into it: the vulnerability in sharing your innermost thoughts, pouring your heart into a project that can potentially help others, refining your own words and arranging a piece to better tell a story. Once Lauren got to UT Austin, she was opened up to the world of journalism and how many facets there are to it. Reporting can come to you in so many ways (social media, video, podcasts, and traditionally, articles) and she just happened to land at a job that was in need of a social media editor. At Texas Monthly, she's been given the opportunity to work on my writing and report on topics she is interested in while also doing her main job which includes scheduling posts on all of our platforms, making sure each story is getting the promo it deserves, and keeping a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing media landscape. We will get to hear her favorite interviews and her upcoming professional goals as well as a few more sneak peaks for up and coming interviews.

He's an award-winning host and interviewer on Turner Classic Movies. He's also made hundreds of appearances on The Today show, where he's been the Oscars expert for the past 24 years. Our guest's deep-rooted passion for the art of storytelling and cinema has made him a trailblazer, not only for his innovative work in chronicling the evolution of Hollywood, but because he is actively shaping its narrative and transforming its landscape. He is renowned for his advocacy for diversity and inclusion in the film industry, and he regularly uses his platform to amplify underrepresented voices and challenge industry norms. The tables have turned and I'm officially the one asking the questions (it feels good to be honest!)For years Tv personalities like myself have had a love / hate relationship with journalists but this chat took a turn I did not expect.Chatting to Megan Pustetto from So Dramatic, she opens up about the struggles she has had recently in the industry, gives us an inside look at how outlets like the ‘Daily Mail' operate, and gives us an idea at just how much paps actually get paid. WILD!But most importantly we get to understand Megan a little better & see that she is so much more than the keyboard warrior behind the scoops. It's is so refreshing to hear things from her perspective &I couldn't help but fall in love with her after this chat, I know you will too!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This chat I am joined by Entertainment Journalist 'Peter Ford' who many of you would know from decades of reporting the entertainment news on Television and Radio. 'Peter Ford' is pretty extraordinary, he has managed to navigate and survive many changes to the landscape of Australian media. He has keen interest in the Royals, covers the 'Oscars' at the 'Oscars' and has a lot of our biggest celebrities on speed dial. There is a lot here I could mention. I have followed his career since I was a teenager and over the years we have forged a friendship. 'Peter' is always a phone call away with plenty of support and encouragement and it's fair to say he is a good friend to me. 'Fordy',' as he is affectionately called is currently on' Sunrise' and ‘The Morning Show' both on 'Channel Seven'' and has also has a contract with 'Channel Nine' across a number of their biggest radio programs. I will ask why 'Peter Ford' has been so private with his personal life considering he has job publicly discussing the private life of many a celebrity. I will find out how 'Peter Ford' prepares news stories and if there is a process to getting his stories accurate. We will also talk about his clash with many a celebrity from the State premier of Victoria to 'Lisa Wilkinson' and recently comedian 'Dan Illic.' Plus we will get plenty of exclusives from behind the scenes of being an Entertainment journalist and get a look into the life of a young 'Peter Ford.'See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

There are few things scarier than excruciating, physical pain for a reason unknown. Except, maybe, experiencing the worst pain of your life while on a three-hour flight, fainting, and waking up with an oxygen mask, surrounded by concerned flight attendants urging the pilot to make an emergency landing. That is exactly what happened to today's guest, Dontaria Terrell, when a cyst burst 30,000 feet in the air. Dontaria had been ignoring her pain, assuming it was normal. Her emergency surgery led to the discovery of Uterine Fibroids, propelling Dontaria to think critically about her health, reproductive future and fertility preservation.
