In our last episode of 2019 we take some time to chat about our top 100 tracks of the year and very nearly come to blows on repeated occasions; mostly just slap fights, really. We pay little service to the notion of dark heavy holiday beers for this round and instead pretend its summer for beverages picks. Mickey is still on the cider train (it's a long train!) with a selection from Brickers Cider. Tristan went purely which beer had the nicest label and went with a lavender gruit ale from Moody Ales. For our album pick we dive into the tangled web of psychedelic indie folk Americana that was Rocket by (Sandy) Alex G. Our movie pick is the noir sci fi thriller classic Gattaca and we have a heck of time discerning what the film got right and wrong about the future. Yes in fact the Master Kat  - DJ Lithium -  did play this very set live in Calgary in June 2012! Of course it was all vinyl, did you hear the needle drop, and the static at the start? Proof indeed! Vinyl records is an art form to mix and the DJ a craftsmen. Sadly it's a dying art as fewer and fewer DJ's spin the legendary "wheels of steel" and almost no new DJ's learn the skills. Guess nobody knows that vinyl records are the pathway to immortality! As such DJ Lithium will live forever. What about you?
